Extremely rude older gentleman in the store. Not much selection and high prices. Would definitely not recommend this place.

Have I found my new favorite spot in the Bay? I love interior design, tsotchkes and art, and I love…read moreold things. Narrative is all of those things. I could walk around and explore this vintage/art/home decor spot for hours. It's basically a coop of different, mostly home and art dealers displaying and selling their goods. Lots of mid century modern stuff. Although no purchases, it still was a great time. The one drawback: Bay Area prices. Still some gems to be had, especially if you value old and well made vs new west elm, but I wouldn't say there were many steals (although always in the eye of the beholder).

Quality/Quantity - 40 to 50+ vendors, think COOP. See…read morepictures. Sorry, I could have done a better job with taking pictures. Atmosphere - I forget how big this place was. Security and bag check as you enter. She even laughed at my joke that my wife could fit a couch in my wife's purse, lol. Even when it was Bed, Bath and Beyond, the size always surprised me. Bathrooms I believe are in the very back of the building but I did not check or use them. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm. Usually plenty of street parking, 2-4 hours free. But not today; it was crazy busy. We noticed a farmers market a block away...??? Paid parking garages are also available. Service - Friendly door greeter. Again, she even laughed at my joke, lol. Price - Depends on what you buy. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2016.

I've been to a bunch of used and vintage furniture stores around the Bay Area and this one is, by…read morefar, the best in terms of stock and selection at very reasonable prices. They have a selection of both actual used vintage pieces alongside new reproduction items. The reproductions they stock and have on display on the floor are surprisingly high quality if you're used to the type of stuff you'd find on Wayfair/Amazon/Overstock. The extra benefit is you get to actually check out the display models to evaluate the quality yourself before pulling the trigger. As for delivery, they suggest Lugg and setting that up is hassle free and straightforward as they frequently work with Lugg. A part of my purchase had to be ordered in (which only took a couple days), so when everything was available, I got a call from Poor Honey's letting me know everything was ready to go. All I had to do was take a photo of my invoice when booking the Lugg and I didn't have to go back in to coordinate the pickup - they took care of all that. I'll 100% be back as there were a couple other pieces that caught my eye when I was shopping for the dinette set that I ended up purchasing. Very satisfied with the whole experience and the set I purchased is beautiful.

A diamond in the rough. Poor Honey's furniture is a great place to look for a vintage, mid-century,…read morepostmodern, contemporary furniture for any space or home. I've been eyeing on a few pieces, waited it out and was able to negotiate with Ryan and Adam a deal. They're busy people but, helped me load the furniture into my car. I highly recommend checking them out!

I stopped by this past…read moreweekend and was impressed by the massive size of both the parking lot and inside of the store. The whole place was clean and organized, and the shelves were stocked full of awesome and unique products on a Saturday morning. I picked up some laceys almond & dark chocolate toffee wafer cookies, sonoma creamery parmesan and cheddar crisps, and keogh's irish potato chips with real irish butter. And after browsing all of the easter-themed goodies, I couldn't resist getting a bag of kitkat bunnies as well. A worker saw my arms full and offered to get me a basket (he ran all the way to the front of the store and back). The care and effort shown was definitely appreciated. Customer service altogether was outstanding. I was greeted with a smile at entry, checked on multiple times by different employees while shopping, and my transaction at the purchase counter was quick and easy, with two employees opening up additional registers as they saw a line forming. I usually have a positive experience at World Market regardless of location, but based on my recent visit the Oakland store is superior in every way!

Cost Plus World Market, Oakland…read more One of my favorite places to shopping has always been Cost Plus World Market, located in the heart of Jack London Square, Oakland. This place always surprises me with new stuff they have in store! Whether I'm looking for furnitures, snacks or new teas from around the world to try, this is the place to be! I was very surprised to find Hello Kitty and Friends, Sanrio and Gudetama here!! I'm super excited to add this to my list! One of my favorite things to find here are Bon- Bon candies, it reminds me of high school days where they did fundraisers every year! Super nostalgic! This location has been here since the late 1990s. This is one of my go-to places where I grab snacks for the movies around the corner. This place is a hidden gem!! Definitely will come back again!!

His delivery was the day before mine, and I was delighted & hopeful that my experience from ordering through delivery would be as excellent as his was. My experience was!!! First, I come from a family of designers, and I live in SF, which is a city with many furnishing options. The experience of shopping on the CasaOne site, with all of the options & design resources, and their pricing structure, is an excellent one. I wanted a look that was all me, and I got it at CasaOne. My order was more than 25 items, and it was processed efficiently. 2 items were not available, and I was promptly notified. The day before & day of delivery experience is truly amazing. I have had a lot of incoming items for my new home, the CasaOne experience was the singular best of all of them to date. My white glove delivery Team took amazing care of me. Their assembly was seriously world-class; because of their assembly skill & attention to detail, they made the furniture look truly high-end. The delivery/installation Team were ultra careful about moving the furniture in, and ultra careful in placing it. They also did an exhaustive walk-through, looking at every inch of everything--they found a small imperfection that I had not. Out of 26 pieces total, only 2 had some minor issues, and I am certain these will be resolved. I am someone who lets the frustrations & imperfections of life move by...but I always try to be the person who recognizes superlative & cost efficient options for living, as well as superior work-ethic & execution. Everyone we know who has furnishing needs will hear about this CasaOne experience! Oh and btw, I have already ordered 6 more items!

Delivery was on time and efficient, but there was a moment of drama in the beginning when they were realizing that it was a sixth floor apartment with no elevator and they were calling their ops people to ask if they really needed to go through with it. (I only had 12-15 pieces, mostly small, for a studio apartment). I had clearly stated this when I filled out the forms and put in a special note about it, so it was awful to have them arrive and be faced with not having a bed to sleep on that night. They sorted it out and delivered as expected. What also wasn't great was that I signed up for the flex plan to be able exchange pieces whenever, and this went fine the first time, but second time I did this, they informed me that they had pivoted their business to doing only staging homes and selling furniture. There were also some email exchanges with their ops/support team that just required a bunch more arguing than I would have preferred. They did give me refunds on the flex plan, but now I'm stuck with furniture that I wanted to exchange for other pieces, but no way to do it. When my contract is over, I intend to return all this furniture.
