He said all transfers had to be initiated by me and through my agent. He said he would not even take me as a client unless I sat down and spoke to my agent. I told him that was good and that I intended to speak with my agent and that I had a lot to think about. Before I even got home he had written my agent, told her I wanted to transfer to his office, and asked her to initiate the transfer. I had an email from State Farm 5 minutes after I left his office saying I had requested to switch agents. At no point did I tell him I wanted to or was ready to switch to his office. Starting out with multiple lies and being deceived did not sit well with me. I had to spend the next three hours reversing the transfer that I never authorized, never initiated, and never asked him to speak on my behalf. Such a huge waste of everyone's time and energy.

Cheri C. Sherry…read morerenewed our faith in the importance of a good agent. We lost our second hime in the Holiday Farm Fire; our long-term agen retired soon after. We found ourselves floundering with some of the claims issues, several friends highly recommended Sherry. She has been amazing from the beginning. She explained all policy provisions to us, she advocated for us with claims managers, she fully assessed our insurance needs (important after such a loss). She also explained the coverages in a way that helped us know how to actualize the limits of our claim. She is aligned with an excellent company and she truly understands the ramifications of the choices you have, One of the best decisions we made in the last two years was to request Sherry Schaefers as our agent.
