Cheri C. Sherry…read morerenewed our faith in the importance of a good agent. We lost our second hime in the Holiday Farm Fire; our long-term agen retired soon after. We found ourselves floundering with some of the claims issues, several friends highly recommended Sherry. She has been amazing from the beginning. She explained all policy provisions to us, she advocated for us with claims managers, she fully assessed our insurance needs (important after such a loss). She also explained the coverages in a way that helped us know how to actualize the limits of our claim. He personally promised that all of my current providers were going to continue to be covered. I'm on disability, I have a lot of health issues and have a lot of appointments. Since the "upgrade", not a single one of my providers have been paid and it turns out none of them are covered. After asking Garrett for help to go back to my old plan, he told me to "call the number on the back of your insurance card" which sent me to UHC general help line. They told me I was going to have to get into contact with the state to go back to my old plan. I have relied on my insurance and my providers to literally stay alive, and now that is all up in the air. I am incredibly disappointed, I trusted Garrett and he really took advantage of that so he could make a sale. I will be reporting this to Medicare and the BBB.
