Avoid this place. I recently started working in the area and I've been going to farmer boys my whole life. This is without a doubt the worst one I've been to. They never get your order right, unusually long wait times (yes I know everything's made to order) but 25 minutes for a chicken sandwich while 5 other orders go out after I order is ridiculous and then I get back to my office to find out the chicken is raw. Today I had to come back a second time to get my ranch and honey mustard that I paid for and I asked for no onion or tomato on my burger and had both. First time visiting this location, picked up dinner before soccer down the street, really convenient location located right off the freeway. Service was quick besides the little wait at the order screen, 10 stars for Abner with his amazing and friendly service. Never met a more thorough and customer oriented employee such as himself at any of your locations. I would say the only big concern for me is the abundance of homeless people surrounding the restaurant, but I'm sure that's out of your control. So, my friend and I were hanging out in Riverside for the day and we suddenly got the urge for a burger. My friend's never ate at this place before, and was very curious about it. I'm not a fan of fast food, BUT some fast food is actually pretty good. We walk in here, and I get the sudden urge to go to the bathroom. So I'm trying to open the door to the bathroom and it wasn't opening. It was locked, even though it said it was vacant. The cashier person hollered at me that he would unlock it, and I'm like "what??? I basically have to ask permission to go to the bathroom?" I didn't like it. If you want to lock the bathroom so bad, just do a keypad. Sure would suck if a person had to go to the bathroom and it was in the middle a lunch rush. Anyway, we're trying to order, and I guess our cashier (different person) was so worried about her coworker giving out too much change to the point where she did our order wrong. Oh well! Can't fix the crap service there :) I mean, I'd be worried if my coworker gave out too much change if the location wasn't making too much money from their boring hamburgers and their locked restrooms. Just sayin. Anyway, we get our order ( which was wrong!) and we are immediately displeased. I'm ashamed they proudly serve a hamburger like this. Food has been horrible every time I have came to this location and I'm no longer giving it anymore chances. The last time my family and I came here they not only quoted the incorrect pricing to add something but they gave us uncooked French fries. I called once we got home to eat and asked for the manager. I was told on the phone that I was currently speaking to the manager and her name was Anna. She stated that she would need pictures of the fries for them to be able to remake the order. I sent the pictures and she stated that we could go back and get 3 new orders of fries. I am very disappointed in my recent visit to Farmer Boys, on Iowa in Riverside, CA. First of all, I understand the cost of living has gone up, but I just ordered a lettuce-wrapped veggie burger with cheese and the 4-piece zucchini. No drink. Which came to a whopping $19.44. A friend and I walked into the restaurant at 8:40pm, we placed our order inside and the cashier asked if it was to go or dine in. We said "dine" in. She said we couldn't eat inside because they close at 9pm. As a restaurant owner myself, if a customer places an order to eat inside the restaurant before the doors close, they should be allowed to eat inside. Won't be eating here anymore. read more

This place is the worst farmer boys location I've ever been to! Horrible customer service, & terrible food. First time I went here I got salad and found a big green bug in it. Had to return it and my lunch was ruined. Second time I got a breakfast burrito and asked for salsa in it and on the side.....it was plain no salsa at all and they gave me packets of ketchup. So farmer boys in general customers are everything, so you should probably try to get someone's order correct because at the end of the day it's their money. Also don't play stupid when told something. Also give people fresh lettuce in burgers and not some used crap! Paying almost $15 for a uncooked piece of cheap meat is crazy. I only gave them one star to write the review. The service here is terrible and so is the customer service. I ordered two bacon burgers with no bacon (because I can't eat bacon) and when I got my food, both burgers had bacon on them. I returned to the store to get what I had originally ordered and they refused to remake both burgers because I came back with only one. For background, my friend and I ordered together on his work break and after we got the food I went home and he went back to work. I go home to eat and I see that the burger has bacon on it and shortly after he calls me saying that his burger also has bacon on it. So I return to the store and they refused to make both burgers even though I brought the receipt with me. I even explained to them that I did not want to drive to my friend's work to pick up the burger because the whole situation was already an inconvenience. They gave me a 20% off coupon rather than the food that I paid for to make up for it. After a lot of back and forth I leave the drive thru and go to the store, while on the phone with my friend to show that the burger is still intact. They then asked for the 20% off coupon back and finally made the second burger. This was not the first time that something like this has happened to me at this location and I am deeply dissatisfied with the staff's behavior and lack of accountability. I had to explain myself several times to multiple staff members for each one of them to tell me the same thing. They were very uncooperative! Not to mention I had to tell them I don't want to hold up the line I just want what I ordered and they still refused to help. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. Came through the drive thru 10/25/24 at 9:50pm (10minutes before closing). My parents were hungry and wanted something quick not too many good places were open around the area so we settled on Farmer Boys last minute. The young hispanic man working the drive thru tonight well done! Great customer service and had a lot of patience with my parents as they were ordering. Keep in mind they only had 10 more minutes until they closed and most of the time employees just want to rush out of there. I bought two fish dinners and a couple of burger combos. The fish strips were undercooked, soggy, limp and pale. Fries were unbelievably cold and onion rings were dark and dry. This is by far the worst food I've ever had from Farmer Boy's. Usually, the food is hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. Not at this restaurant on this day, sad to say. The burgers were cooked okay but again, the fries were limp and not the "always crispy" way. The topper was that they did NOT provide me with my receipt to scan for my rewards which makes me suspicious of someone scanning random receipts for their own profit. If I ordered the combo, wouldn't you expect the to get the fries and drink included with that price? They overcharged, and their logic was wrong. Please change your store hours to close at 8:30pm. This is the second time my family comes around 8-8:20 and the staff is already rushing to close. They lock the doors at 8:30 and the rest of my family had to wait for them to be unlocked. Both times staff made errors on our orders, bringing out double of the same order and the incorrect salad. Really good fast food is how I'd describe farmer boys. It sets itself apart from McDonalds and other fast food restaurants by competing with a quality that distinguishes it as great service and good quality food. The cost is what makes it less catchy though. The food that they serve is more selective than other chains and they make it known especially with their association with farmers. I've had Farmer Boys a few times now in Riverside at this location and it is usually pretty good. One thing that I must say is that I have always had very pleasant interactions with the staff! They are all super friendly and genuine and that's not something you really see anymore in a drive-thru restaurant, so that was refreshing. In the past, the food has always been good. I usually get a cheeseburger with bacon and avocado. I really like this burger because the avocado is very fresh. I had their chili cheese fries and I thought they were pretty good! Definitely superior than some of the chili cheese fries that I have had at sit-down restaurants. The other night, I had the cheeseburger with avocado and bacon. It was pretty good, although the bacon wasn't crispy. I also ordered the 7-piece zucchini fries, but when I got home, I had seen that they gave me a bag of french fries with only 2 zucchini fries in them. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I was sort of bummed. I wanted a shake when I ordered, but they were all out of the ice cream, so no shake :( That super bummed me out because it was a big reason why I came. I have had the cookies n' cream shake before though and it was super good! I do have to say, that although they were out of shakes and my fries weren't correct, I REALLY was blown away by the genuineness of the staff. I could tell that they were all really nice and cool people. Since they were so nice and cool to talk to, it made me sort of forget the shake and fries thing.
