Estimated 4 hour job (1-bed cover, 3-dash cam) at $150 hr. I thought 3hrs for dash cam was excessive since I had the camera and the wiring kit. I questioned it. It didn't require any splicing, simply plug into the fuse box and hide wires. I was told I might get that labor adjusted. I returned and had work done. In at 9. Out at 11, 2hrs. They did not install the camera using the kit I gave them that would have allowed for 24 hour monitoring. I had to ask for the box, unused parts and all the instructions back. They asked me to return. I did. I eventually just accepted their first install and opted not to redo as I initially requested. The tech did a neat job and showed me what he did. But still disappointed. I had to ask for warranty information for the cover. I questioned the 4 hours total labor. The job took two hours. I was told they had 2 techs working on my truck at the same time. One for cover and one for camera. Fair enough. This still would account for only 3 hours. 1 guy cover (1hr), 1 guy camera (2hrs). They would not refund the hour labor, $150. They got me on this one. I received a call from Chris. We straighten things out. Chris was very professional and made things right. I appreciated him replying to me so quickly. Thank you Chris.

He said that's the price that would get them started. I went for a second opinion to a friend of mine in Houston. He was able to do the whole job for $300. So not a big difference in price. I feel like Fernandez was shooting me straight. They are just a little more expensive. But you know what they say. "You get what you pay for". A few days later my truck was hit by an 18 wheeler. I contacted. Fernandez because I knew they had a wrecker service. Man you talk about nice people. The wrecker driver Steve came out. This was the nicest guy I had a pleasure oof doing business with. I've always watched wrecker drivers man handle cars. They have always been real rough with them. Even though my truck had a lot of damage. He still was very gentle with my truck. Explained to me everything he was doing. He put blocks down and pads down to help pull the truck to the top of the flatbed. He was an excellent wrecker driver. I would highly recommend Fernandez for their wrecker service and especially if you're lucky enough to get Steve. The mechanical part of it. I feel like they are on the high side but I don't know what it takes to run such a big shop. I feel like he shot me straight and was far. He was just a little more expensive than the competition. I can't tell you if my truck is still running like a charm because it was wrecked. So who knows. All in all, I think if you choose to get work done at Fernandez Auto shop. I think you're getting a square deal. You might be paying a little more than the other mechanics. But I think your still getting a good deal with an auto service that can fulfill more needs than just mechanic work. I think this is the kind of shop you want on your side because you never know what's going to happen.

The work performed consisted of replacing one spark plug, installing a new battery, and flushing the old fuel. My bill was $885. I understand that diagnostic time and labor cost money, but I found that price extremely difficult to justify based on the work performed. THE EXPERIENCE: I raised my concerns with Dalton Wilson, who told me on 8/27/26 that he would review the bill with his manager and get back to me. I followed up again on 9/2/26 and received no response. After more than a month without an answer, I reached out again on 10/3/26. I finally received a response from Christopher Dunin informing me that they would not make any adjustment to the bill. THE OUTCOME: They got my $885, but they lost a customer. To make matters worse, after I got the ATV home and ran it for about 10 minutes, the Fuel Injection (FI) warning light came on and stayed on. So after spending $885, I still have a mechanical issue that needs to be diagnosed and repaired. What bothered me almost as much as the price was the way my concern was handled. I gave them an opportunity to review the situation and explain or address the charges, and instead I spent more than a month trying to get a response. I won't be returning to Iron Supply Powersports, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. I'll take my ATV somewhere else in the future.
