Not enough words can describe the amazing food here…read more I didn't know what to expect when stumbling into Country MKT diner, and you shouldn't too. Take those expectations and throw them out the window, and open your taste buds and mind to new flavors to homemade dishes that will blow you away. I heavily recommend the mozzarella sticks which are more like bricks of cheese dipped in seasoned coatings that will make other mozzarella sticks think of a new name when these melt in your mouth and pull apart perfectly. The homerun of a sandwich is the Bun Jovi which is a honey Sriracha chicken schnitzel slathered with swiss cheese, pickles, pastrami, and coleslaw. And this dream of a sandwich delivers. The blue seating booths make the diner fun , with high backs they provide comfort and some privacy to your conversations. The staff is beyond freindly and each make sure you are having the best dining experience. To many positives about Country MKT Dinner to name, but each will create a core memory.

There is a beautiful raw bar area, lots of seating, and overall just a really good atmosphere for a group lunch or even drinks after work. The staff was on point the entire time. We were a pretty big group and everything still came out smoothly and nobody ever felt forgotten which I appreciated. We started with oysters and they were fresh and really good. Definitely one of the better things we ordered. The fried calamari was okay but not something I would specifically come back for. The Caesar salad was actually really good and I liked that it had anchovies in it because a lot of places skip that now. I ordered the lobster roll and thought it was the perfect lunch portion. Enough food without feeling too heavy after. Other people at the table ordered burgers, steaks, and pizzas and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The pizzas especially went fast. Overall really good experience. Good food, great service, nice atmosphere, and a menu with enough variety that everyone found something they like.

After speaking with me about an issue I had with the food -- while being polite to my face -- I later overheard him mocking our conversation to another employee and making fun of me as a customer. Unfortunately, based on these experiences, I will not be returning or recommending this establishment to others.

The 130 Shop (Located in Riveredge Row Strip Mall)…read more35 Riveredge Rd. Tenafly, NJ 07670 French Dip Tater Tots Marshmallow Soft Serve Appearance: 10/10 Taste: 10/10 Located in the Riveredge Row Strip Mall at the intersection of Riveredge Road and Tenafly Road is a locally owned high end sandwich shop. Let's check out the two course meal I explored: French Dip: This signature sandwich was loaded with shaved prime rib, bits of bell peppers and was topped with melted swiss cheese. It was perfectly diagonally sliced on an Italian baguette. The beef was tender and juicy; also included was a savory au jus and a sharp horseradish sauce which both enhanced the flavor. I was more than satisfied down to the very last bite. Tater Tots: The tots make an excellent side to the sandwich. They were crunchy on the outside while soft and pillowy on the inside. The ketchup is a pretty decent, but the garlic aioli wins the dipping contest by a long shot. Marshmallow Soft Serve: To close out the meal, I explored this heavenly dessert. Roasted marshmallow is added to the base of the ice cream. The appearance may be simple and plain Jane, but its rich, smooth, and creamy taste is in a league of its own. As a bonus, a complimentary water cooler with ice and lemon slices is available. If you do not wish to drink water, a variety of cans and bottles are available for purchase. Thank you server Hailey and the cooking crew for preparing a flawless meal. #the130shop #130shoptenafly #frenchdipsandwich #marshmallowsoftserve
