Best pizza in Ohio!! You get the food in a timely manner. The salad is huge and the staff is awesome! This was my second time going their as we live over an hour away, First time was for a family party in their party room, we had a lot of people and the food was great then too and everyone was so nice and helpful. It is worth the drive too. The owner Dave is a real nice guy and you can tell he is very dedicated to his pizza place.. Trust me people when I say this is the best pizza in Ohio as I am from Chicago and we know pizza. I can't believe what I read on some of these reviews. This is not a hoity toity place but it is very clean and the people are wonderful oh and they have pac man. Take a trip to Hudson and try this place out. read more

We moved to Hudson over 7 years ago and have been looking for a pizza place that has the hometown pizza taste and not just the commercial pizzas you can get anywhere. After trying several places and being disappointed several times Farinacci's opened in Hudson. We tried it and love it. We go there after football games the people are great, friendly and always pleasant. Out of all the years going there since they opened we have NEVER experienced a wrong or undercooked pizza. I took my inlaws there last week and they raved about it. I am so glad they picked Hudson to open a branch! read more

Great family atmosphere with a party room. Our pizza made to order, one with no cheese, one with no sauce ;). Sausage is fresh and tasty, the sausage sandwich is really good. The vegetarian in the family likes the veggie deluxe ....its alot of vegetables. The meat eater likes the fiesta salad with the meat. All in all, great meal, company and service. When I called in, I asked the girl who answered the phone how big a small pizza was and if it was enough for two people, she told me that it could be six pieces and that it was enough for two people. I ordered this and a salad. When I came to pick it up, it was clear that the pizza was the size of a personal pan pizza, not nearly large enough for two people. At this point, it was too late to change my order or get a larger pizza. When I went to pay, they did not accept card and only took cash or check. Luckily, I had cash on me, but they should let people know that when they take the order. One small personalized pizza and a double salad was nearly $29. I walked out of there shocked that I've just spent almost $30 on a meal for basically one person. I'm on my way home now and I'm trying to figure out what I will supplement this meal with since there really isn't enough food for two people. The pizza looks good, but unfortunately, only one of us will be eating pizza tonight.

The menu is pretty straightforward, plenty of pizza options, calzones, a single salad and a couple of beverages. Uncle Spikes is half of a small building just East of the center of Aurora, the shop is takeout only, a simple counter, one cooler and the kitchen behind a wall in back. My pizzas were ready and nicely cooked; the presentation is simple the pizza boxes are just plain, no logos or writing which is fine. The pizzas are very good, the crust is excellent, the cheese near perfect, and the cooking was the way I prefer it a bit well done. The only problem I had was that there was almost no sauce on my pizzas; with a good sauce these could be some of the best pizzas in the area. I did enjoy the pizza over the next couple days, especially since I could add some toppings including chopped and sun dried tomatoes; the reheated pizza is excellent. The large pizza with the regular crust is big enough that 1/4 of the pie makes a good meal; the small thin crust is also very good since this makes for an even cheesier taste. Uncle Spike's does a really good pizza, the portion size is generous, the quality is excellent, the only issue for me was the lack of sauce, I don't know if this is their usual approach or if it was just a mistake. I do appreciate the nice and simple approach, no frills, no hype just good take out pizza.
