While waiting at our table for over an hour we never received any food, no update from staff on the wait, and then pretty quickly we started seeing all the tables around us start getting upset with the staff over not getting food and when it did come (for the one table), it was all cold and not cooked! Honestly, I have never been to a restuarant and seen such bad service, bad management, and lack of organization. No one there seemed to know what was happening, when or why the food wasnt coming out, no manager came up to talk to us or the other tables and apologize for the wait, or comp food. After having 1 hr 20 mins wasted of our time, with a 3 and 4 year old hungry and anxiously waiting to go into the Monster Jam event, we left. This place sucks! And I also want to note this is the first ever complaint and review i have ever made in my 41 years on this planet...it was that bad! Robert Kraft should personally walk down there and tell the owner they are out!

Cabral Park is one of those Providence places that I have a bit of a soft spot for. I used to bring…read moremy nephews here when they were younger, and some of my memories of the park come from those days. It was always an easy place to bring kids when you wanted them to run around, burn off some energy, and spend a little time outside without having to make a whole production out of it. The park has definitely seen better days, though. There is a lot to like about the location and what the park can offer, but parts of it have looked worn and in need of some attention for quite a while. That's why I'm encouraged by the improvements and renovation work that have started to take shape. Providence has been putting more attention into improving its neighborhood parks, and Cabral Park is a place where that investment makes sense. What I like about neighborhood parks like this is that they don't need to be some elaborate destination. They serve the people who live nearby. Kids need somewhere to play, families need somewhere to get outside, and neighborhoods benefit enormously from having accessible green space. Cabral Park has that basic value, even when the facilities themselves could use some TLC. I have to admit that seeing improvements happening here gives me a little bit of nostalgia. I remember bringing my nephews here and watching them run around, and now I'm seeing the park enter another chapter. That's the nice thing about public spaces. They change, they get worn down, they get renovated, and eventually a new generation of kids comes along and makes their own memories there. I'm giving Cabral Park four stars because I think it has plenty of potential, but it still needs some investment and continued maintenance to really reach it. I'm hopeful that the current renovation work is the beginning of a larger transformation rather than a one-and-done effort. If Providence follows through, this could become an even better neighborhood park for the families who use it. For me, though, the place already has some history. I spent time here with my nephews years ago, and I'm glad to see the city giving the park some attention. I'll be interested to come back and see what it looks like once the work is finished.

They always keep an updated schedule on their original website: www.divinepoweryoga.com OK, now that my PSA is out of the way I'd just like to say that Divine Yoga is a great little respite in bleh Fall River. They have early morning classes all the way to evening classes. They've got weekday classes for the SAHM's and they have weekend classes for the office folk. The new studio has plenty of safe, well lit parking and the yoga room is beautifully refinished with high loft ceilings and warm wood floors. The only drawback for me here, is that they only offer warm (which is basically hot) and hot yoga classes. Sometimes, I want to do my practice but I don't necessarily want to sweat buckets either. So, I wish they would offer a few non-heated classes as well. Otherwise, I definitely recommend checking them out. The location is very convenient to Dartmouth, Fall River & Tiverton and all of the instructors are super friendly and cultivate a welcoming and accepting environment.

But someone clearly invested wisely in bringing this Rhode Island institution into the modern era. The updates are impressive and practical. They've switched to hourly rates instead of per-string pricing, which makes a lot of sense with their efficient setup. Their Monday-Friday special ($20 for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental) is a great deal - and thanks to how quickly everything runs, you can easily fit three strings into that hour, as we discovered when we overbooked for two! The facility itself is super clean, including the bathrooms (always a telling sign). They've covered all the bases for refreshments with both a proper bar/food setup and vending machines. The counter staff is friendly, parking is plentiful, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled ball return machine. It's great to see a family entertainment spot that's both well-maintained and affordable. Lang's has managed to preserve its community bowling alley character while giving customers all the modern conveniences they expect. Perfect for family time or a fun afternoon with friends.
