Updating my review based on the business's response: Not only did I not receive a receipt, but I was also never informed of any "no return" policy at the time of purchase. That's not something customers should have to guess or ask about -- it should be clearly communicated upfront. What really stood out, though, was the unprofessional response from the business. Instead of addressing the concern respectfully, they chose to be dismissive and imply that I was somehow at fault. Saying things like you "can't speak to my attentiveness" is unnecessary and speaks volumes about how you treat customers. If your policy is so important, then make sure it's actually communicated -- not just assumed. And if a customer raises a concern, responding with attitude isn't a good look. Between the lack of communication and the rude response, I won't be returning. I'd recommend others double-check everything before purchasing, because clearly customer service isn't a priority here. read more

Wow, I have spent thousands of dollars at this place. For the last 10 years. My husband and I had the most uncomfortable experience being there this evening. Right when we walked in the two girls hounded us for our IDs which I've never been asked for before as we are not under 40 years old, this is ridiculous. I then proceeded to put some clothing up on the top as I then shopped a little bit more with my husband. After 20 minutes of being in the store I ask them can I please use your restroom. They said no we can't we don't have a restroom. I then asked what do you use for a restroom. She said we use a restroom behind the back. Can I use that restroom please. She said no I cannot let you behind the counter. So the restroom is right there for customer access and I have use this restroom many of times through the epidemic. I have been at this store dozens of times through the pandemic and anytime I need it to use the restroom I was able to. When you're shopping at the store for quite a while and you need to use the restroom and you cannot you're going to drop the items you have and shop somewhere else. I had money to spend there tonight and we were going to spend it but I will never be going to fantasy ever again I will certainly take my business elsewhere. Worst experience ever with the employee Michelle. First off today 3/12 in the state of Oregon the mask mandate was lifted today I shopped at 3 different retailers none of which refused my money because I didn't have a mask on. But ehh I'll give fantasy a pass on that it's only the first day of the lifted mask mandate. So we left and went to the next door establishment to get FREE mask to come back into Fantasy......My boyfriend and I went to drop a few hundred dollars because I have to leave the state for work and we wanted to get it on the next few days. I didn't explore this place much, so I don't know what it has beyond lingerie and DVDs. I can tell you that there are a ton of DVDs, but I didn't notice them ordered in any way. Ech. Hopefully I'm wrong. The main problem I had with Fantasy, though, was that they forced me to set up an account with them just to rent a DVD. Apparently setting up an account also involves paying them $3. In exchange, I get to feel relieved knowing I have to carry around a nondescript red card in my wallet if I ever want to go there again and NOT pay the account fee. I was looking for a few specific DVDs, and the woman who helped me seemed fairly incompetent at searching their computers for them. I think she was new, because she also rang me up for some stay-hard cream that happened to be sitting on the counter. The location of this Fantasy sucks. Horribly. It's easy to spot, but hard to figure out how to get to. You have to take a hidden little road up to it, so that when you get there, you feel sufficiently dirty about the whole thing. I would say that the most difficult part of going to any store is walking in and having to look for the people behind the counter in the face :-) this place is not very hard to handle. The service here is excellent. Staff are upbeat and really chill, and offer to show you stuff or help you try on corsets and that kind of thing. They'll even put batteries in the toys so you can compare them and figure out which one is right for you. Great place to start for novices--everyone's really friendly and eager to show you how things work. They also give solid product recommendations. When their cheapest version of a toy isn't very good quality, they'll let you know, then recommend another that's within your price range. Of course they'll try to hock their fancy wares in the glass cases, but there's no harm in that. It's kind of fun to check it out anyway, as long as they're offering.
