I used to go here to get my brows waxed and loved the shape they created. My daughter finally decided to get hers done. We both went in and my daughter watched. When it was her turn, I noticed that the lady had used the same stick on my daughter that she had used on me. Infact, it was re-used A LOT! I asked her about it and she said that the heat from the wax gets rid of the germs!! WHAT?? I have a ServSafe certificate in food handling, I know a LOT about bacteria. GROSS!! I bet they don't clean anything there. BEWARE, don't use this place. read more

I only come here for haircuts so I can't comment on how they do they nails and pedicures and stuff like that but the owner ( who cuts my hair ) always does a great job and is ALL BUSINESS, which I really like. She is like a precise robot, cutting and shearing and just getting it all done. I really appreciate her and I just love the haircut she gave me today. Thanks! read more

Hello, 2013. Not only do I still get my nails done here, I get hair, highlights and waxing done here as well. I have also convinced numerous friends to jump on the bandwagon. I am a huge fan of the highlights/lowlights that they give me and for the price! It usually costs me (with the long hair and all) about $65 for highlights and a haircut. I am totally serious. Plus I look fabulous, dahling. It has gotten crowded on the weekends after all these years so I have to plan time out of my work day to get my butt in for some work. Everyone here is really great but I especially love Tiffany and Whing (I'm not sure I spelled her name right, but you get the picture). read more

My father went in to have his nails cut and they refused with no one else in the store. I called and the lady who answered said they don't cut old people's nails. That is discrimination, illegal, and I will find the correct actions to take in reporting them. read more

I go there for pedicures. They do a great job and I love the new massage chairs. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I got a haircut for 12 bucks and it looks great! I highly recommend this place. read more

Our girls wanted to get their nails done and since Fantasy is within walking distance to our house they made the trip. We weren't happy as they seemed to do a rush job on both of the girls nails. They only gave a brief massage after they spent almost double that amount of time fixing the poor paint job they had done. I have been going to Fantasy since I was their age so I was surprised to hear them tell me this (the girls don't usually complain about anything). Guess we will be driving them to another nail shop to get their nails done correctly. read more

I agree with another Yelper that Tina has really increased the prices and her quality has gone down. I was also a long time customer, I stopped coming for some time and on my recent visit I recall why I vanished. Tina doesn't seem to show interest in your hair. She even had me brush my own hair while she go help a customer. I know see why it was so abandoned on a Sun at noon. read more

Kim opened up her new salon close to rolling hills school everyone should start going there because now Tina owns this salon and she's making it more pricey than it was before read more

Terrible.. they try to charge me $4 more than the price posted and advertised. I asked why and she said it was a old price.

I get my hair cut here pretty much religiously, unless I'm out of the area and in desperate need. Tina is by far the best one in this place, but when she's not there, there's another girl who does a pretty good job. It's kind of funny walking into this place sometimes when it's full of chicks getting there "mani pedis" or whatever the hell you girls call that stuff. Either way, it's a good place for a quick trim! read more

I get my eyebrows waxed with Nancy, she always does a good job of getting all of the straggler hairs out. =) I took off one star because the shop could be kept up a little better but for $8 for an awesome brow wax, totally worth it to me. read more

I was referred by one of my friend to get a hair cut from this place and what a huge mistake it was!!!! I say ladies stay away from this stinky place because their customer service was well, there was none to even talk about. Place is so small but crowded not by customers but by people who work there and they don't seem happy to be there and neither was I. Horrible service and hair cut was equally horrible. Their attitude was just so bad, I mean they asked one of the lady her nationality and started laughing and speakking in their own language what a rude rude people. read more

Disgusting and filthy. It took 3 people to paint my nails and they still looked like crap.

I love this little modest place. It is run by two, hard working women. I have been going on and off for four years, but as of lately it is my place to go for the last 9 months. Why? I adore the nail technician, Nancy. She is so hard working and does a great job. My nails last a long time. I also love how fast she works. I have a busy life, like most people, and one thing I don't like about some salons is how long it takes them to do a fill. Nancy, on the other hand, is super fast and does a great job! The place is NOT fancy, so if you need that then you may not like the place. I personally don't care about looks. I care about the quality of the job. Nancy also does my brows and they come out fabulous. Nancy, herself, has great brows and makeup. She also remembers things about you, so enjoy getting to talk to her every two to three weeks. I think Nancy does a better job at hands than feet. I actually go somewhere else for pedicures, but I always see people coming in for that service. Also, it is best to call for an appointment since it is just Nancy who does nails. The other woman does hair. read more

I used to come here for manis and pedis cause it's so close by but everytime I would end up with those little bubbles on my nails from the polish - I can do better myself read more

I kept telling the woman cutting my hair not to change the length of my hair and just layer it, over and over. I just wanted thinner hair by the tips. NOT short! Oh my gosh! She cut it shoulder length! It took me 6 months to grow my hair 5 inches below my shoulders. I'm so upset! She wanted my hair v-shape in the back. I said no, but the whole time that was her goal until complained that she's cutting it short. I couldn't see what she was doing in the back, then when she reached the front it was too late. It's frustrating not being able to understand due to language barrier. Next time I'll just go somewhere where they understand English very well. read more

Great news... now Nancy is back to Fantasy Nails and I wish her all the best. As you all know, she is always the best and also taking good care of the customers. read more

I've been going to Fantasy Nails for several years - always a good experience. Very happy to hear they are opening a second shop at 1514 Pollard Rd LG. read more

I have been coming here for almost 15 years, since I was pregnant with my first child and really needed a pedicure, nothing beats the deal! $25 for a manicure and pedicure, and massage! It's not fancy and they take lots of walk ins so they are can get busy. I have been to very high end spas and nail salons, but I keep coming back here for the value. There have only been a couple times I was not happy with something, I told them, they fixed it. Done. Happy Customer! read more

This review is for Nancy who does beautiful eyebrows. She recently moved here from Tiffany's salon. Nancy makes you look beautiful. I tried many other places for my eyebrows but never found any who does a very good eyebrows. read more

So this place is like a neighborhood salon, you know one of those places you grew up with and it's kinda like family?!? Yeah so I come here to get my wax and pedicure here with Nancy, she is tooo cute and always makes me feel special, which I love. Its not one of those fancy places but its very cozy as everyone there is really friendly and the prices are reasonable. read more

Be careful, they are cheap. I asked for a regular color on my acrylic nails and they charged me for gel nails, which was DOUBLE of what I was supposed to pay. read more

I have been coming here only do my nails. I've expderienced better done a great job and with much cleaner tools. For those who doesn't understand their language, they judge and criticize everyone. They Vietnamese only care do quick job then cut throat with rip off prices after they done,YOUR NAIL BREAK A DAY AFTER--a waste of money. Poor treatment and impoliteness to customers. you can go to other places with kindness and respectful customer service deserve better qualitiy as well making you feel comfortable and relax. read more

They do great work, fast and inexpensive! I have been going for years, this is a great place! Go there find out!

I was a long time client, but I went today and the lady who cuts hair with the scowl on her face gave me major attitude today. I will not be returning for any more services. They lost a long time client today. read more

As hard as it is to find a reliable, clean, friendly and professional salon these days, I found mine in Campbell. I consider myself lucky because Kim and her staff are great team. I love their new remodeled place. Their prices are fantastic and for what they do, it is beyond imagination. I can afford to get a hair cut with brushing, pedicure and manicure at the same time. I even take my daughter who is a teen and hard to please with me:) I recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for an affordable and professional salon that offers most of services in one place. Go pamper yourself and see what I mean. read more

I've gone here several times for pedicures and manicures, which for me rate very well. I've decided recently, however, to go with a naked manicure and just apply my own solar oil which has resulted in beautiful natural and healthy nails. So my purpose today for writing this review is the haircuts. I WISH they could do hair better than they do because I like the salon and the owner (kim) and the staff! I ended up looking like I was Chinese (which I'm not) after Kim cut my hair, so I was going to try Tina but she is really just a very scarey looking person. Enough to make me leave the place, which I have never done at a salon. Boy the way she looked at me after I asked about a haircut! Yikes! read more

I can't comment on the hair cuz I've never had my hair done here. This is about Nails Only. I think they only have one lady who does Nails here and she's a very pushy I went in to get a full set and ended up paying way more than they have advertised on their door with the prices. She charged me $5 for each accent nail that was glitter and didn't let me know how much it would be beforehand. I didn't really think I'd have to pay extra for that I was already getting gel and to be honest I didn't really want the glitter but she insisted. It was kind of ridiculous all she did was open a different bottle of Polish and paint my nails with that one took no effort at all. I ended up spending $50 when I thought I'd be spending 30 for a below-average full set. My nails were different lengths and not shaped correctly. My main issue is how pushy the lady was all she cared about was bringing in as much money as possible it was clear as day and very uncomfortable with their customer service I'm. My sister got her nails done there and was telling me about a horrible experience she had and it sounded just like mine I I knew immediately she had gone to the same place I had. It was Very sloppy I would not recommend this place. read more

I am as picky as anyone can imagine. I have fired tons of hair dressers. I admit I am Very hard to please, takes a very capable hair stylist to consistently deliver to my high expectations... I am so glad two of my friends recommended Kim to me. I love her work. I appreciate the very fair price for cut, color and highlight. Kim is very professional and caring, listens to what I want, asks questions to make sure I am satisfied. I drive all the way from North of Fremont to get my hair done by Kim. I am very happy with her. The shop is small, but kept well. Very soft music (Not too loud like most other places) is relaxing and nice. Unlike other nail salons, I don't find workers speaking in their native language and being too loud or disruptive. I highly recommend Kim to everyone. Kim is WORTH it. My husband and son have become Kim's satisfied customers as well. We all are HAPPY with our haircuts, thanks to Kim! I go there at least once every three weeks (Drive 70 miles round trip), and have recommended Kim to many other friends in need of great hair stylist with excellent price. Satisfaction at LAST!!! read more

got my hair done here, Tiffany and another lady did my hair, hair color 5 trike highlights and cut for $100 thats a god price and my hair look pretty good. i think i found my salon. they were so patient with my hair, its just that its really hard to get a blonde when you have black asian hair :/ everything was fine they were great ! and most importantly they didnt forget about me and left me with 7hrs of bleach like the last salon i went to :( read more

Terrible place.. Poor customer service, while I was there I saw a quarrel of one of a customer complaining how did they screw up her hair for 70$. The lady (dont know the name, but looks very rigid scary for kids). First, they quote some price after you sit on the chair. No relation to the listed price. This lady only serves heavy bill customers and made my kid to wait for 1hour for his cut (may be 8$), while she keeps servicing others who came in after me. I walked out once my wife done her haircut. read more

Fantasy Nails, at both locations, the first on Hamilton Ave and the 2nd on Pollard, are THE score salons! I have been going there for hair, wax and Mani Pedi for over 10 years! Their work is outstanding and there is very little wait time for walk ins. read more

I love this beauty salon, thanks to Lisa! I love how she does my nails! Her designs are amazing and she charges you very low for everything. I recommend her when you get a chance in this beauty salon! The only thing I don't like about the place is the temperature in the store. It is tremendously hot and they should turn on the AC. read more

I have been going to Kim (the owner) for almost 9 years and have always been satisfied with the outcome. She knows exactly what I want and delivers great service in the end. Sure, she is swamped every day and probably works on 2 other haircuts while your hair is processing but she always knows when to check back in with you. The salon could use a lot of work, but you are not paying for a top notch salon. Her prices are SO fair and cheap (IMO) and for how hard they work, they are certainly not a rip off. I have been to some pretty high end salons spanning all over the bay area, and let me tell you- it does not always pay to go to a nicer "looking" salon. And regarding the reviews coming from other clients who say the employees talk bad about their customers in Vietnamese- I have yet to ever see one of them in NINE YEARS give me a dirty look or make me feel like they are trashing me in their language. I truly enjoy Kim and her staff, and I am saddened by the poor reviews that IMO aren't true. read more

I have been going to this salon for the past 3 years mainly due to the excellent haircuts, color and blow-dry that I receive from Kim (owner). She gives beautiful haircuts that are always noticeable by people. The prices are very affordable and super reasonable. Unfortunately for the past year I was not happy about their nail services because of the poor quality of the care and customer service. Nancy who usually was doing my manicure would take a break from doing my nails multiple times and start working on others. She was always very loud when speaking her native language and running from one customer to another. Sometimes she would be attending 3 customers at the same time. I tried other manicurists too but in general they were all only OK, until a few months ago when the old group left and started their own business and Kim (the owner) hired a new crew. She hired very professional nail artists and their services are so much more for the same cost. My regular basic manicure which in the past only lasted up to 4 days, now is lasting up to 10 days. I didn't know getting my nails done can be so enjoyable. Now I am super happy and always looking forward to do my nails while getting my hair done at Fantasy salon!!! :) read more
