For my budget, that's a lot for a birthday cake. I probably would've paid less if I had taken the recommendation of the baker and bought a smaller cake for the number of guests, but the birthday boy was with me and he wanted bigger, bigger, bigger. After reading all the good reviews I decided to order the cake at Fantasy Bakery. Turned out beautiful, better than my expectation, my daughter loves it. Everyone at the party complimented how tasty it is and asked where I got it from. It's not too sweet, fresh strawberries in the middle with fluffy whipped cream frosting. I paid $40 for the cake but I asked not to put the horn and ears, if I did, it would be $50. If you are looking for a cake kinda like Asian style, I highly recommended this place. I Yelp searched bakery near by, seeking something sweet and tasty. That Yelp search brought me to the Fantasy Bakery. Upon walking in, their sweet case was slim pick-ins. It appeared they specialized in cake orders and cake designs. My purchase went for 2 cake pops and a slice if their chocolate cake. Since I wasnt ordering a cake, I would at least give their slice of cake to try. Which I took to go. I know they make all of their own cakes but this cake slice was compatible to a Safeway cake. Their cake pops struck out too. I ate one and threw the other one away. I was hoping that it would of worked out for the both of us. I am sorry to 2 star . The first cake I ordered for my Son's 2nd Birthday (July 2018) was three years ago- Baby Shark themed cake. The theme for my niece's 1st Birthday was Abby from Sesame Street. The first picture was the one I sent them and the second picture is the cake we got, I just asked that they add on a third layer. I had them make Chocolate mousse for 2 layers and mocha for the third layer. My Family and Guests loved that it wasn't too sweet, just perfect. I couldn't be happier!
