This is a public service announcement. They do close at 2 o'clock 2 PM online. It does say they close at three so the Yelp page needs an update and the sign on their door as well. However, I love them. They are the best bread in SonomaCounty in my opinion and a lot of others too. I used to be an acme fan till I found Redbird. And don't worry, you can get their loaves at most Olivers before they run out and they do run out every day . if you stop at any Olivers for your Redbird, you will see that it's the only part of the shelf that's empty before all of the other locally made brands. It's just that good. This little bakery café is adorable here on Sebastopol Avenue very close to downtown and Railroad Square. The people are sweet. This bread is iconic, period!

Amazing place Tucked into the Santa Rosa neighborhood . Pastry's are amazing, customer service spot on. Coffee spot on, seating on point. All the goodies were so good, light, flavorful and delicious. Highly recommended.

Love red bird bakery the breakfast sandwich's are great. The best pizza by the slice in Santa Rosa and I love their sweet danish. I love the baguette sandwiches when I need to grab something to go. During a mural festival red bird bakery was gracious enough to donate sweets for the artist.

Great little bakery! My new favorite place for sourdough bread. The loaves are light and delicious, but they have plenty of sweet pastries and desserts to satisfy your taste buds too. They still have sandwiches for lunch, but not quite as many as before so come early. My favorite is the chicken pesto. They now offer a "pizza" option too. I'm so glad they opened up near my work!

In my opinion, Noble Folk not only has the best ice cream in Sonoma County, but also some of the best pies and cupcakes. They do just about everything dessert as well as support other local businesses and local farms. They have a wonderful assortment of merch you can buy and they also have a great staff of people who work for them. On this particular visit, we came in for ice cream. Their ice cream flavors are really unique and fun, with lots of flavors and textures. Tonight I tried their Sticky Toffee flavor, which was superb. I am also very partial to their Dutch Chocolate and their Earl Grey ice cream. Besides their ice cream, I've also had their pie on several occasions including ordering their pies for holidays. They are a great business to support so please stop on by and check it out!

I liked seeing that they source ingredients locally. They have other locations, like in Healdsburg. Immediately, I was greeted with the sweet scent of pie. There were lots of cookie options in the bakery case. They had a lot of ice cream flavors, too, but they only allow two samples per person. I tried the coffee and peach, but neither tasted good to me. I ended up asking the server what were the popular flavors. Then I got a split scoop $6.25 of DUTCH COOKIE and PISTACHIO CHERRY. They were both really good. It tasted like real, homemade ice cream to me. There are just a few seats by the window. No outdoor seating. Parking: You will need to find metered street parking spots around the area. No bathroom. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. No Wifi.

Every time we turn around, we find another reason to love this place. The food has been incredible, the drinks have been top-notch, and the folks we've met have been as friendly as they come. Now let me tell y'all about the real star of the day... Nimble & Finn's Handmade Ice Cream! Now, I don't usually get all worked up over ice cream. It's good and all, but I'm usually more of a "maybe next time" kind of gal. But when I saw they had Lavender Honeycomb... well, suga, you didn't have to tell me twice! Lord have mercy... it was GOOD. I mean, "close your eyes and savor every bite" kind of good. I would've licked the cup clean if I'd thought nobody was watching. The sweet gal behind the counter said Lavender Honeycomb has quite the following, and after one bite, I believe every word of it. So if you're anywhere around Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and scoot on over to Nimble & Finn's. Grab yourself a scoop--or two--and see what all the fuss is about. I have a feeling you'll be planning your next visit before you even leave the parking lot! Hubby got an Ice cream sandwich Northern California... y'all are sure making it easy to feel right at home.

Small batch, homemade and delicious. We ran right into this cute shop so we popped in. Calm vibe and friendly staff is what you will find here. Their summer menu is serving up all kinds of delicious scoops and I decided to try the matcha strawberry swirl and the sea salt caramel. Nice easy to eat scoops and we ate it all. The matcha strawberry swirl was the best in the terms of two scoops. So creamy and you could still taste the earthiness of the matcha with a hint of strawberry. Very refreshing. The owners of this shop Leandra and Jazmin (sisters) use only organic dairy from Straus Creamery, seasonal produce, house jams, cakes and candy to come up with their takes on classic flavors. They have won several gold medal awards in Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Harvest Fair. This shop is unique in that it makes ice cream cocktails. Yes, with real alcohol. I didn't try one on this day but I was tempted. In addition to this location, they also have a shop in Guerneville.

I usually buy the raspberry cake slice, the macarons, and Whoopie Cookies. I've purchased the cruffles and the macarons as gifts for my friends, and they're always adorned in a cute box with a ribbon bow. There are also gluten-free cupcakes available. They've never disappointed me and I often walk out of the store with a smile and my sweet tooth satisfied. Cons: Street parking can be tricky during busier times. However, it's about a 5 minute walk away from the Santa Rosa Plaza Mall. The cake slices and cupcakes lay on the buttercream pretty thick, which can get overly sweet. Overall: I had been going to Sift Dessert Bar since 2015, and when it closed in 2024, I was surprised to find that the location for the original Santa Rosa store is now owned by a former manager of Sift Dessert Bar! If you missed Sift Dessert Bar, you'll definitely love Blondie's Bakery Boutique. The colorful interior and sweet treats make this shop a must-visit. I would definitely recommend that we all support this small lovely bakery on Mendocino Avenue. It's so hard for these small businesses to be successful with the cost to rent and finding employees. Not only will you help support but you will be amazed at all the delicious baked goods. I haven't tried yet, but I have no doubt that they will be delicious!

They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
