There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!

The frittes were crispy but a but overdone so they were dry. Croque Madame (3.5/5) - The Croque Madame is a classic, indulgent French hot sandwich, essentially a traditional ham and cheese (croque monsieur) topped with a rich béchamel sauce and a fried or poached egg. Our wive's shared a morning bun, cinnamon bread, and a chocolate Croissant. Adrian was our server and he was friendly and had a good sense of humor. He told us the "specials of the day which included a vegetable soup. Leeks, carrots, celery, and bacon." Bacon? That's our kind of vegetable soup! Our one complaint was that we had to ask a few times for refills of water and hot water from a few of the servers. Overall, another good meal here.

For take-home bread, we bought the Forestville French Baguette, Sesame Epi Baguette, and a Country Bird. We also picked up a tea cake to enjoy at home. I can only review the scone and Thimbles since at the time of this review, this is what I've tried. The Strawberry Pistachio scone was not too sweet, which is great. I like how the pistachio bits add flavor to it, kinda wish they added more pistachio. I'm not sure I personally like the strawberries since they're kinda mushy, but my partner really liked the addition of strawberries because it's like adding cream to a biscuit and this scone was more like a biscuit than a scone (in our opinion). It's buttery, airy, and light, but it's pretty good! I think the Thimbles were better though. I can only describe it as a fudgy brownie with a thin crusty outer layer. What a decadent little treat! I can see why this is a local favorite! Their pastries are delicious. I can't wait to see how the bread tastes like and I'm glad we stopped by to pick up some goodies! The line was out the door and took a while to get in, but once we made it inside the small space, we were greeted kindly by the staff and treated to great-looking bread and pastries. We picked up a baugette, a seeded loaf, a pluot tea cake, and some chocolate thimbles. The chocolate thimbles are truly amazing, and I would come back to get a thousand of those. They are like the best brownie you've ever had in a little bite-sized delight. The bread was also good- on par with many other small local bakeries I have visited. The pluot cake was very nicely done with great texture and fresh pluot topping. It would have gone great with some vanilla ice cream. I'd imagine Nightingale Breads is the type of place where everything is delicious. I don't think you'll miss here.
