Worst salon experience I've ever had. Went in wanting a dark brown ombré (to preface, my hair was already dark brown). I showed the man doing my hair an exact picture of what I wanted. Albert was my stylist and proceeded to bleach my entire head 3 times until it was fried and orange. He then proceeded to dry & style it and asked me if I liked it, and it looked NOTHING like I wanted. I told him I was not happy and that it needed to be brown, not orange. He gave me severe attitude about it & then argued with me about what I wanted. He then attempted to do a color correction and it came out even more orange than before. At that point I paid & left almost in tears. I called the salon manager and owner to try and get my money back. They told me that they would not give me my money back until I let him try to do ANOTHER color correction after my hair and scalp were already fried. My scalp physically hurts now and there is no way they will ever touch my hair again. That's 200 dollars down the drain. I honestly can't believe that they won't give me my money back after this horrendous experience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Never again!! Recently moved here from Houston.I went in for a retouch on my roots. I have light brown hair with lots of bright blonde highlights. Roots came out ORANGE and blonde highlights went grey with a tint of BLUE!!!!!!! The story: Hair color "specialist" noticed some brown streaks that made my blonde highlights seem faded on a few spots. She said she would put a toner on it to even it out? I trusted the expert. She suggested a base breaker. Which I have not done in years fear of color becoming uneven. Roots looked orange. Then turned all my blonde hair into brunet no more highlights. I was livid. My hair is naturally black it takes a long time to bring it to the blonde level it was. She strip me of them top to bottom. She then said she would fix it by clarifying it back. Came back grey with blueish highlights!? They suggested doing blonde highlights to fix them. My hair was fragile and ripped even the stylist said she feared it would rip more. I asked for my money back and left. I'm traumatized this is my hair! On a good note, my husbands hair cut was fine. Another lady did it. Guy cuts ok but I would not recommend coloring. read more

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews, the guy that did my hair did pretty well and almost had it exactly how I wanted (not sure anyone I've been to has nailed it). I don't have any complaints, and the only reason I'm not doing a full 5 stars is because they aren't perfect, I don't really give those out. Edit: I'm noticing a lot of reviews on how they talk unprofessionally, I personally didn't notice any of that. I had an online appointment for 5:00 and arrived at 4:55. I was told it'd be a couple minutes wait. When it reached 5:15 i informed the woman at the podium that i had a five o'clock appointment and i was told it'd be another 30 minutes. As the lady told me this another man who walked in ten minutes after me without an appointment was called to go to the chair. It's as if they don't understand the meaning of an appointment. Edit:I'm sorry i was mistaken when i said online appointment. My girlfriend made the appointment and i assumed she did it online however she called to make the appointment. However that shouldn't detract from the fact that they wasted my time and didn't stay to their own appointment. Fuck you guys. read more

I get my son's hair done here because they usually do a really good job with him. We went to Stephanie today and she really took her time with my son (he's 6) and she listened to exactly what I wanted. I was a happy regular here loved my stylist!! Unfortunately she had to go back to Florida and when I asked for a stylist that can help me get a cut they recommended an older lady. When I left my hair was horribly cut she didn't even want to blow dry my hair when done!!! It was cold out and I had to give her a hint and say I hope I don't get sick walking out with my hair wet! She said oh no you'll be fine. Wtf!!! I was scared to go back. In May I was late for my LMT graduation and I decided to get a style done there last minute, unfortunately I got the same last and I walked out with FRIZZY hair, she TRIED to curl my hair but all she did was round brush but never gave the curl. I looked horrible for my graduation and everyone even said wow you were in a rush huh?! I will never go back there again. If you think a mediocre or less type of service is ok then you truly need to readdress that problem! The only reason I give it 2 stars was because of the amazing experience I had with my stylist after that it took every single star away. read more

I always dreaded going to get my hair done because places always butchered it and I left disappointed,but I love this salon. I highly recommend Angel because she can just look at you and know exactly what you want done to your hair. She's the only stylist I go to and I take my son to her as well. I had heard good things of one of the male hairdressers here but made the mistake of opting for whoever was available while he had appointments. I don't even know the name of the woman that cut my hair- she had purple hair streaks and worked near the front, because she failed to take the time to even introduce herself. She paid little attention to what I was asking for and rather seemed more focused on what to get from in and out for lunch. I had to point an obvious uneven part that she would have left untouched. I've had better haircuts and service at most sports clips. Hope the rest of them are not this bad but I'll never know, as I sure won't be coming back. read more

This place has gone downhill. The customer service of the techs has been terrible. It seems to have lots of turnover. I always make an appointment to get my kids hair done and whether we are the first client of the day or have a noon appointment they never take us on time. Today was my last time to ever enter their doors. They were an hour late in taken us back. I have three customers they will be losing. They are condescending when they talk to you-- no apologies for making you wait. But if They should have more respect for people's time and their reputation. read more

For the past year, I've had everything from fried hair which I had to come back for a 5 hour color correction to uneven hair cuts. I will stick with Fantastic Sam's in Springtown from now on. I got highlights and they fried my hair and turn it turned out orange and they charge me $125. They told me I had to buy special shampoo to get the orange out and that was the bottle red $20 and they charge me 25 I will not be back they charge me way over the price anywhere else I will never be back do not use this company do not let your friends and family go to this company they're very very bad. read more

Cannot cut kids hair. Cannot cut curly hair. All the stylist are constantly talking nonsense. The place is dirty. I was mortified after taking my two kids and me for haircuts. My oldest son went first. His hair is wavy. Jessica didn't cut enough and too much in other places. I went second. I have curly hair. She didn't talk to me about her plans. She started to flat iron my my ends and proceeded to cut it DRY AND IN A STRAIGHT LINE. I was in shock. I had to ask her to give me some layers and still left me looking like I got a haircut at an asylum. I didn't let her touch my other kids head. Never again!!!! read more

I had a horrible experience at this salon. I went in to get my extentions removed and a stylist named Albert Garcia (who also said he was the manager) said he knew how to take them out. Fast forward 30 minutes later and my hair is coming out in clumps. My hair has NEVER been this thin and he kept insisting this is normal when extentions come out. NO IT ISNT. I have worn extentions 4 other times and my hair is just fine afterwards. He did not use the proper tools (needle nose pliers) rather he insisted that using pliers that were sharp at the end and cut things in half i.e. my hair when he was breaking the beads down. Not once did he run a brush through my hair, or take the time to get all of the leftover beads out. In the end, he was pretty much done and only eager to take my money as it was after 5pm at this point. As I was paying an outrageous amount for his mistake, I asked for the managers card in which he RUDELY stated, "you have it, but today it will cost you $$$" - meaning I already had his card he had the audacity to even hand to me. I am glad he did though, afterall, so I can post his name and warn any person even thinking about going here to steer clear. This boy butchered my hair to make a quick buck by offering me a service he had no clue how to properly do. Now I am forced to spend more money elsewhere to cut major length off my hair so it doesn't appear so stringy. Completely disgusted. A word to the owner - find a new manager who not only can do hair, but has proper customer service skills. read more

The woman who cut my hair was nice enough but didn't listen to me when cutting my hair. It has been 6 weeks and I still HATE how it looks. The hair cut was uneven, it didn't blend. I would go an get another hair cut but she cut it so short the only solution would be to shave my head. I went back in and told her that I didn't like it, that it looked like two different hair cuts and she had no solutions only said "that she was going for something different", when I specifically told her I liked the cut I had and to follow the cut. I specifically told her that I have 2 children under 3 and I needed a cut like this because it was easy for me to do. She handed me over to her co-worker her tried to fix it but unless we shaved my head there were no other solutions. I paid $100 to not have any Christmas pictures, wedding pictures for my family and my sons first birthday. It looks that bad. I used to be a recommender of Fantastic Sams but I would stay away from this one. read more

They were rude, especially my stylist. She didn't listen to anything I was saying. Left very dissatisfied. Will not be returning.

The worst hair cut I have ever had that lady cut all my hair off and it was down past my shoulders and I just wanted 1/2 inch cut off and feathered back and she started at the back I couldn't see her and not only did she cut it up past my ears like a mans hair cut one side is not the same as the other side it is so uneven I have to comb it back and spray it down with hair spray I can't get it fixed it is to short never again never read more

This location employs inexperienced stylists. I went in today and the stylist left me with two bald spots on each side of my head. He told me " don't worry, it will grow back". My experience was so bad I thought I was on a hidden camera show. The owner is not a trained stylist and has never cut hair before. I would not return if someone paid me. BEWARE. read more

I have always used this salon for my little boys but never for myself or my daughter. I was extremely dissatisfied with a cut from a more "high end" salon and came here to see if they were able to work me in. Kaamani shaw stayed late and recolored and recut my hair. My experience at fantastic sams was not only terrible but a waste of six hours. I came into this salon expecting to get exactly what i asked for. I was not only filled with disgust but anger when i got my hair dyed. I asked for platinum blonde with purple underneath, instead i got what i assume was supposed to be an ombre and or balayage. This ombre was boxy and patchy you could see where she had failed to dye pieces. What however angered me more was explaining to her how much i was disgusted by how i looked. She then had the audacity to tell me she did a great job. We then debated she asked me what i would like to do to fix it in a snide tone . She asked me if i just wanted to dye it back to regular color and charge me $100 in a Snyder tone . I found that absolutely ridiculous and redundant i have not only just spent 6 hours in the establishment but im going to be charged for them screwing up my hair.
