I came in with almond shape and they charged me extra to keep original shape. Also extra on an already expensive pedicure for things that should be included. I actually hold my cosmetology license in California and am very much aware about of the work necessary vs price point. But just felt they should've been up front of the little add ons. On top of it, they charged me sales tax and after looking up the rules and regulations in the state of Alabama I realized it's not legal. Honestly probably 2 1/2 but I'll give them the 3 Probably won't return though.

I've never been to a nail place that charges $5 extra for a shape and she didn't say it was an extra fee and I didn't realize it was until after looking on the menu at add-ons. That's the only downside is them adding a fee to nail shapes.

I had been to may nail salons before and the last one I went to allowed two of my finger nails to get a fungus underneath. I decided to go to D's one day and Shelly took care of me, and helped me get rid of the fungus. Shelly had to actually take two of the acrylic nails off and cut the nails down to help get rid of the fungus. I am happy to say that after two months, the fungus is gone, thanks to Shelly. These guys really know what they are doing and they actually care about their customers. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon. Shelly also does Facials, Massage, and Waxing

She asked if I wanted the nail straight across and flat, I said no I would like it rounded a bit. That was a big mistake because she grounded down the nail of one of my fingers on the side into my skin. The side of my finger hurt for a week or more and my skin peeled off. It was painful and a mess. Will never come back again.

Two are infected today (the next day). I had to ask her to stop and that it's sensitive and hurts. She applied some alcohol to one nail and I told her it burns and she never said a word to me. Also, they don't have other services for the pedicure like parafin wax, scrub, masks--I saw pics of the levels for pedicures but I wasn't offered any. I've gotten my nails done for 15+ years in many cities and places and just thought this experience was very weird and different.

Her approach with them and myself were totally different. I advised her that I didn't want gel polish bc I feel as if it isn't good for your nails, not that I couldn't afford it.
