I have to say that coming from a well known high street chain of opticians, I was a bit scepticle about changing my optician. However, I'm soooo glad I did in the end because not only was the sight test the most thorough I've ever had (and only a tenner), but I bought a pair of stunning Prada frames which were cheaper than the ones listed on other Web Outlets. The dispenser took time in advising me on colours and frame shapes - the kind of service that never existed at my old opticians! I have a complicated prescription but they made the experience painless and I was over the moon when I collected my designer glasses a week later. I went back to the store, had my own Ted Baker frame with me, I just wanted them to put my new prescription lenses in it. Tinted sunglasses lenses they were and the lady kept telling me that they need to be tinted without even opening the package the lenses were in. I insisted and when she opened she realized they were already tinted. Then she told me I must come back an hour later. I went back , lenses were is it as I requested but the tint was not grey 3 but grey 2. I was told they sort it out and asked me to come back half an hour later. I went back and turned out the person who put the lenses in, broke my Ted Baker frame. So I'm here with no sunglasses. I was promised to get a Ted Baker replacement frame with prescription lenses but I lost my trust in them. In the future I'll get my eyes tested there with Mr Tenby and go to Windsor Specsavers.

Great tile shop on the Farnborough estate. They have a massive selection of tiles to suit all…read morebudgets. The store is really well laid out and the staff are very friendly and helpful, (a guy behind the counter couldn't wait to come up and hand me their new brochure!!) The tiles are a selection of ultra modern and the more traditional, with prices ranging from 50p each to £20 a tile depending on the type of effect you are after. Some of their new glass tile range looked absolutely amazing. When it comes to tiles, they have everything you need under one roof.

As far as charity shops go this one is a real mismatch. Elements of the shop are very good, whilst…read moreothers are very poor. The shop itself is split into two section, with the shop on the left being the book shop and the shop on the right being full of clothing and nik naks. The shop full of clothing and nik naks is fronted by a number of very cheerful ladies who appear to have overdosed (in a nice way) on happy pills. They are extremely helpful and polite, although they are also more than capable of talking a glass eye to sleep. Friendly banter is the norm in this shop and should be expected. All banter is given, and received, in very good taste and should not be taken personally. This shop itself is a bit of a let down though, with far too many items being packed onto shelves or into boxes on shelves that you can't get too because of overcrowding. The trinkets shelf is like a giant game of Kerplunk; a shelf best left alone if you are of a nervous disposition or suffer from a nervous twitch. All the charity shop norms can be found in here, in generally huge quantities, however the art is being able to pick out on item that isn't supporting the ceiling or finding one that hasn't been damaged due to being rammed on a shelf along with lots of other items. At the back of the shop is their clothing department, a veritable treasure trove of fancy dress items and 70's & 80's chic, and being on the outskirts of a military town there are all sorts of available military memorabilia. The trick here is finding enough time to be able to go through everything on offer before frustration sets in and you feel the need to throttle yourself with a stray dressing gown belt. The shop to the left is the book shop. This is the Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium of book shops. Considering its size it has everything you could possibly wish to find in a book shop and more. The internal layout is very clever, using lots of alcoves to maximise space, thus allowing a greater volume of book shelves and ultimately a greater volume of books, (which has to be the most important factor in any bookshop). All the alcoves hold their own particular sections, and provide small private viewing compartments for you to browse for and peruse through your favourite books. Anything you can't find can usually be produced by the assistant. The only thing this shop misses is a smile on the assistants face! For sheer volume of items, these 2 shops are probably the best in North Camp. For internal design, layout and ease of browsing the clothing and nik naks shop, unfortunately, rates very low. Both shops are definately worth a visit if you are in the area.

There was one small issue post installation which they fixed quickly and which I believe is a good reflection on their post sales service. Wouldl I recommend them to others - yes I would.
