The actual eye test was easy and the lady explained everything she was doing, not like how I remember them from when I was a child, it was scary then. I received a phone call a couple of days later to say that my new glasses were ready, I went to collect them and the lady adjusted them so that they were as comfortable as possible. I'm really happy with the service I received, and my new glasses, and they were right, they are perfect.

Online glasses direct only charged me £120 for the same lenses! They sent someone round to my house to take measurements and delivered my glasses to me a week later. I managed to buy a decent pair of specs with prescription lenses for £50 which is the cheapest I have found anywhere and they are nice frames, nothing designer mind you but nothing old fashioned by any means. A lot of the other opticians Iv been to, made me feel rushed and the examination was performed far to fast, but not specsvers, they check and check again and give you time for your eyes to adapt before asking you which lense you can see clearer from. In other opticians Iv had to ask for a retest as when it comes to trying the new glasses on, as iv not been 100% happy with the prescription. but never in specsavers have I had this problem. The have always been friendly and welcoming, whichever branch I have visited have a good section of frames. They also offer you contact lenses and again these are very reasonably priced. The only negative I'v found is that they have lost my personal information on several occasions, whether its my contact lense prescription or my glasses prescription. Im not sure if its because Iv moved town a few times or since I changed my surname but they really need to sort out their filing system

They've also messed around my brother for his contact lenses so I've stayed well clear of them. The Basingstoke branch quickly sorted out all Camberley's mess in an efficient and polite manner. They're customer service here is absolutely fabulous. They offer the same services as all the Vision Express stores but their customer interface is excellent here. The shop is pristine and they often have sales on glasses frames which i guess they have to do to stay competitive with the likes of Spec Savers.

They are very kid friendly and we always go here for my sons glasses. The staff are patient and spend ages helping you select the right frames. They get the glasses made promptly. They have offered us repairs for free when we have bent the frames. Because it is part of Boots you can get advantage points on your purchases. I like the service in this shop, they are efficient but still very personable.

I went back to the store, had my own Ted Baker frame with me, I just wanted them to put my new prescription lenses in it. Tinted sunglasses lenses they were and the lady kept telling me that they need to be tinted without even opening the package the lenses were in. I insisted and when she opened she realized they were already tinted. Then she told me I must come back an hour later. I went back , lenses were is it as I requested but the tint was not grey 3 but grey 2. I was told they sort it out and asked me to come back half an hour later. I went back and turned out the person who put the lenses in, broke my Ted Baker frame. So I'm here with no sunglasses. I was promised to get a Ted Baker replacement frame with prescription lenses but I lost my trust in them. In the future I'll get my eyes tested there with Mr Tenby and go to Windsor Specsavers.
