They've also messed around my brother for his contact lenses so I've stayed well clear of them. The Basingstoke branch quickly sorted out all Camberley's mess in an efficient and polite manner. They're customer service here is absolutely fabulous. They offer the same services as all the Vision Express stores but their customer interface is excellent here. The shop is pristine and they often have sales on glasses frames which i guess they have to do to stay competitive with the likes of Spec Savers.

Based within the rather hot Boots store, it is not the best place to have to sit and wait for your…read moreeye test, you feel slightly on show in the clinical seating area facing out towards the main store. The reception staff are fairly abrupt, no effort is made to make polite conversation other than to take your name. The opticians are really chatty and polite and you feel quite content that you have had a thorough eye examination. I rarely manage to find frames i like within my budget, so unless they are doing a special offer e.g. buy one get one free, i tend to get my prescription and go elsewhere! The range is good, but the price is high once you factor in the cost of lenses and any coatings!
