There are pavilions available and plenty of areas to sit down. The parking are was really good. There are several jungle gyms for the kiddos. The walking trail is well kept and free or holes or anything that will cause you to fall. I saw wildlife along the way. People were fishing, eating, walking, playing games, and just enjoying life. I loved my visit here.

My nephew was extremely excited!!I noticed that everything was thoroughly thought out. The entrance gate is slightly heavy (two to pass through. Other area were the same (heavy gates to prevent kids from entering the paved areas without permission & help. There were several areas to play: sensory areas, sand box (large), agility, strength training for the littles, and a cute township area where kids can ride (provided mini bikes) bikes or scooters in the "city". The imagination stations were adorable. Most areas were covered well. They had several restrooms and water stations. Seating for birthdays and such. I didn't have time to take pictures. But it's true to the website. I highly recommend it!

Large space -- spread out. You've got climbing structures, slides, tunnels, swings. What I really loved was how they incorporated the playscapes into the terrain (e.g. slides and tunnels were built into hills). I also appreciated that they had activities for various ages -- my 3.5-year-old daughter enjoyed the complex climbing structure while my 1.5-year-old son liked the simple tree stump climbing structure. Splash pad nearby and ample green space to run around. Downtown is nearby so you've got a beautiful view of the skyscrapers. You've also got some less pleasant aspects. When we were parking, there was a disheveled looking man being arrested. No idea how much of a disturbance he created but the cops were taking care of it. There's a paid parking lot that fills up quickly. Terry Black's BBQ is right across the street if you got a good parking spot and want to snag some meat as well (their line moves fast).

The place was very clean. the grass was beautiful. The restrooms were nice. Kids were enjoying the playground. There were plenty of park benches, and there was a lot of space to run around. Is this a tourist destination? No. It's a local community park. But it's a nice one, and we really enjoyed our time here.

There's a couple of playscapes, there plenty of room for walks, biking, and walking your dogs. There's also stream with a path through the nearby woods. My kids love playing hide n seek and tag here. They have have a couple of swing sets here as well. The bathrooms are also dealing well kept. I definitely recommend this park for your kids and running or walking your pets. It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking. Definitely check out this park if you're in the neighborhood!
