My friend ended up with French tip and I ended up with pink nails. (P.S. don't get a pedicure the tubs are gross looking and looks like you could get a fungal disease ). She then tells me she doesn't have her appointment book with her on the weekend (which ironically the original appointment was made on a weekend), then she stops responding. ONLY after the salon owner saw the Google review did she send me a text- on September 5. "I was told by the salon owner....." She says that the reason for not getting back to me were family issues. So which is it? Family issues or the client is the problem? Like I said, IT IS ONLY HAIR! No big deal. But treat people right and be honest!

I would rate that salon and the woman who works in Mona's Nails salon on 737 E Lake Ave in Watsonville even lower than 1 star, but unfortunately I can't.

I had been there a few weeks before when my daughter and niece got pedicures. I saw how Michelle was doing someone else's nails and paying so much attention to the shape and details. I walked in and she sat me down right away. Be warned, no soak off (had a previous set that was falling apart), so that was a little intense. But once she got to work on the new set I was very pleased with the results! She pays attention to detail trying to get the shape just right. Nothing fancy just a great little nail shop that got the job done.
