This is not my first visit, but it will definitely be my last. This was, however, my first take-out order. The rolls have gotten far smaller, and the quality is merely edible. I decided to try their Pad Thai which was regrettable indeed. It was nothing more than Pad Thai noodles (with overcooked shrimp and chinese cabbage) swimming in an odd, syrupy, flavorless light brown sauce. Nothing resembling Pad Thai at all: no peanuts, no bean sprouts, no Pad Thai sauce. I tried to doctor it with a splash of soy, squeeze of lime, & some heat, but to no avail. I took exactly three bites: two before doctoring it and one after: it was -and still is- inedible. Easily the saddest attempt at this dish that I've ever seen or tasted. My advice is don't. Just don't. I won't bother contacting them after reading several reviews about their interaction with customers. It's not worth the aggravation. Let my loss be your gain: if you want quality sushi or Thai in Clermont keep looking. read more

Wow. I am a Asian food fanatic, and this is definitely a pearl. The name "Fancy Sushi" sounds like a cheap, low-quality restaurant, but the food is amazing!!! The lunches are generally $8-$13 and very delicious. I myself had Teriyaki Chicken (which came in a sizzling plate like Fajitas in a Mexican restaurant), and, though I did burn my tastebuds, it was very good. Comes with soup, salad, and rice. They have a lunch and a dinner bento box, which is nice too. The best part? The rice was so good, I didn't have to drench it in yum-yum sauce. It was very good, and definitely a place to try! I go here at least once every month with my wife. They have soy paper options so that my wife can eat sushi also. She hates the smell of the seaweed. The staff are friendly beyond belief and they know even what we drink. The sushi is top notch, amazing options. I love the crunchy roll and the snow white roll. The presentation is phenominal. Flourishes, colorful and artistically cool. The first few times we went we took pictures of our dishes. Next time I go I'll take some more and put them up. I love this play. Our second visit was for dinner. This time we selected a dinner bento box with steak teriyaki and a Lucky Dragon roll. I enjoy variety (like buffets but haven't found any good ones) so the bento box satisfied that need. Steak and white rice, california rolls, shrimp tempura were all good. The shumai was fried which was disappointing - prefer steamed. Also came with soup and salad. The Lucky Dragon was probably the best we've had since arriving in Orlando last September. Service was prompt and friendly, They had a lot more staff for dinner and it shows as any need we had was quickly responded to. It's a smallish place which makes it a bit quieter. The only negative was the steak teriyaki was drowned in sauce - we had to take the food out of the compartment and let it dry out a bit. We will definitely return. read more

We love to get dinner here, have a couple of beers at World of Beer and catch a movie. The only drawback is that it is rather small and gets packed so although they are super friendly, service can be just a wee bit slow. It is a lot slower if you use take out. Was staying in Clermont and saw this post on Yelp so I thought I would try it. I went in at 8:30pm on Monday 5/13/13. Nice and quiet sat at the Sushi Bar. I ordered some Salmon & Tuna nigiri sushi, Philadelphia Roll, Hwy 95 & a Treasure Island. It was excellent. Sean, Helen and John(sushi chef) were wonderful. I recommend the Treasure Island if you like a little spicy flavor. They gave me a free appetizer, deep fried crab with spicy mayo. I think it was called a "Holiday" definitely delicious. Before today I would have given more stars, but they can't handle being busy. They're rude, flustered bc it's busy, get annoyed when you ask for a refill of water, and charge you for things they forgot to bring you. Quality of sushi wasn't as good as usual. Not to mention myself and a few others stood in the entrance way for a few minutes with no greeting and had to add our names to the wait list ourselves. I've been to Fancy Sushi a couple of times now and have to conclude that, while the food is of high quality, it's not consistent. The sushi is good, and the tempura is excellent, but both the teriyaki steak and the red curry chicken and shrimp (chef's special) I tried were under-seasoned. I would especially expect a Thai-style curry to be bursting with flavor, but this one was actually bland. Reminded me more of a Cantonese-Chinese entree. Service was indifferent and uninterested although a bit perkier with people they obviously knew. They seem to have little training in service. I think maybe the secret here is to stick to the more traditional Japanese fare. I love well made Japanese food, so I will probably try it a few more times and hope that they pay a bit more attention to seasoning! read more

You guys can find they got new booth in there. Those booth are what I delivered to them before. The owner came out to ask me to carry these booth into his restaurant. I did help him to do that. My husband decided to try out Fancy Sushi on our last date night since it was so close to the theater. We started with a seaweed salad and miso soup. The seaweed salad was excellent great flavor and good portion size (had a maraschino cherry on top. That's different but I am game) . The miso soup was ok. We have had better but it wasn't bad. Next we had the Shumai which also had good flavor and was presented very beautiful. We decided for out main course to share the Sushi and Sashimi combo. It came with mushroom soup and a salad. That will teach us to read the whole menu before eating next time. The California Roll was good. The sashimi was excellent the Ahi and Salmon were superb. The presentation was beautiful. Wish they didn't have a tv in the background playing CNN. Not a big fan of TV and when on a date night I don't need to be reminded of all the bad going on in the world. All in all a good date night as we had a good meal and got out in time for the movie. We will definitely be making another trip to Fancy Sushi in the future. read more

Finally found a GREAT sushi spot! I've lived here a little over a year and I have tried several places but haven't been completely happy. We just ordered hibachi chicken and steak as well as a couple of sushi rolls and everything was fresh and tasty. The portion size of the hibachi steak and chicken was generous!
