This was the best sushi boat experience! Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The food was so fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared it honestly exceeded expectations. Every bite was delicious, and it made for such a fun and memorable meal.

Delicious and fresh sushi! Service is fast (literally - the servers move like lightning to make sure everyone gets what they need). My only wish is that the menu could list ALL sauces and ingredients in the more complex rolls. The rainbow roll I ordered had yuzu sauce, which wasn't listed in the menu for this item and which I don't particularly like. I preferred the simpler rolls we ordered because there was no surprise sauce. The place is very cute for a date or a celebration.

Delicious & fresh! The maki combo was the highlight. Every roll was amazing. The Christmas roll is like a rainbow roll but with spicy tuna inside.

The food here is always delicious and affordable. Ive been a customer here for 8 years now and not much has changed. The service is always amazing and quick, the food quality is consistent and there are a variety of options here. I love the warmth of the decor and lighting and that it hasnt changed much since I was a kid.

Food is ALWAYS fresh and service is excellent. Thank you Ms Helen for taking such good care of us. Love the ambiance. It is great for solo meal, family meal and even a date! Great place!!

I ventured here for lunch after reading all the great Yelp reviews. Located in a large shopping complex (TJ Maxx, JcPenney, and the movie theatre), there is ample parking. I arrived around 1:30pm on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quiet, just three other tables. I was seated right away and was able to look over their extensive menu. They have some great lunch offerings (which I recommend just from the price point alone. I only wanted sushi and wanted to try their premium rolls ($15/each). I got the sushi pizza and the volcano roll. The sushi pizza is a great concept - and while all the ingredients looked amazing...I didn't like that the pizza "crust" just sat in a vat of oil causing it to get very soft. I wanted a little more crunch. The volcano roll was good - lots of krab stacked on-top. Overall, not a bad experience, a little pricy in my opinion for what I got, but would like to try their lunch specials which seemed more reasonable in price.

When you walk in it's very unassuming. It's small, dark but busy! When I saw how busy they were and how busy their takeout was, I knew we were somewhere worthwhile. Our waiter was swift and nice. Very extensive sushi menu and I always like sushi restaurants where they have the sushi chefs on display making fresh rolls. Our order came out really fast and fresh! The raw fish incredibly fresh and everything was delicious! Out of the two rolls I ordered (American Dream and Dancing Dragon), the American Dream was my FAVORITE! It was phenomenal and highly recommend!

I went here for the first time before a movie and of course, in a bit of rush. Everyone in my group of 4 loved their food. The prices are affordable and the quality is fresh and flavorful. The service was a bit slow, and our drinks sat empty for almost the entire time we were there. It's a bit dated and can definitely use some updated tables and menus. The menu covers are ragged and it's not a great first impression. That said, I'd definitely be back for the food - probably the best sushi I've had in this area!

This place is 5 stars all day everyday!!! Please don't listen to the bad reviews!! I eat sushi all over the world, this place has quality!!! Please check them out!!! It is a small but wonderful restaurant!!

We went there twice, both times they served a small appetizer (fried crab with cream cheese) delicious, and served cubed oranges when we ordered the check. The Kobe roll is AMAZING, and two rolls we ordered was very good. Definitely we will be back.

Our second visit was for dinner. This time we selected a dinner bento box with steak teriyaki and a Lucky Dragon roll. I enjoy variety (like buffets but haven't found any good ones) so the bento box satisfied that need. Steak and white rice, california rolls, shrimp tempura were all good. The shumai was fried which was disappointing - prefer steamed. Also came with soup and salad. The Lucky Dragon was probably the best we've had since arriving in Orlando last September. Service was prompt and friendly, They had a lot more staff for dinner and it shows as any need we had was quickly responded to. It's a smallish place which makes it a bit quieter. The only negative was the steak teriyaki was drowned in sauce - we had to take the food out of the compartment and let it dry out a bit. We will definitely return. read more

The restaurant menu looked good and the decor was up to date. Our server acted, from the beginning, as if she wished we weren't inconveniencing her with our presence. Maybe she had a bad day before we arrived, I don't know. We stayed past the angry, begrudging salutation. Looking back, we should have left. It didn't get any better. read more

I go here at least once every month with my wife. They have soy paper options so that my wife can eat sushi also. She hates the smell of the seaweed. The staff are friendly beyond belief and they know even what we drink. The sushi is top notch, amazing options. I love the crunchy roll and the snow white roll. The presentation is phenominal. Flourishes, colorful and artistically cool. The first few times we went we took pictures of our dishes. Next time I go I'll take some more and put them up. I love this play. Never a problem with the service and it just feel so comfortable and relaxed. The place is small but it's never been a problem. read more

Love their sushi rolls and the bing cherry topper on the seaweed salad. Our favorite is the Snoopy roll - the thai peanut sauce is divine. We love to get dinner here, have a couple of beers at World of Beer and catch a movie. The only drawback is that it is rather small and gets packed so although they are super friendly, service can be just a wee bit slow. It is a lot slower if you use take out. You can order online, but don't count on it being ready until you arrive. read more

Before today I would have given more stars, but they can't handle being busy. They're rude, flustered bc it's busy, get annoyed when you ask for a refill of water, and charge you for things they forgot to bring you. Quality of sushi wasn't as good as usual. Not to mention myself and a few others stood in the entrance way for a few minutes with no greeting and had to add our names to the wait list ourselves. If you're in the restaurant business, you need to be able to handle being busy. I'm very disappointed. Probably not coming back. read more

I've been to Fancy Sushi a couple of times now and have to conclude that, while the food is of high quality, it's not consistent. The sushi is good, and the tempura is excellent, but both the teriyaki steak and the red curry chicken and shrimp (chef's special) I tried were under-seasoned. I would especially expect a Thai-style curry to be bursting with flavor, but this one was actually bland. Reminded me more of a Cantonese-Chinese entree. Service was indifferent and uninterested although a bit perkier with people they obviously knew. They seem to have little training in service. I think maybe the secret here is to stick to the more traditional Japanese fare. I love well made Japanese food, so I will probably try it a few more times and hope that they pay a bit more attention to seasoning! read more

Was staying in Clermont and saw this post on Yelp so I thought I would try it. I went in at 8:30pm on Monday 5/13/13. Nice and quiet sat at the Sushi Bar. I ordered some Salmon & Tuna nigiri sushi, Philadelphia Roll, Hwy 95 & a Treasure Island. It was excellent. Sean, Helen and John(sushi chef) were wonderful. I recommend the Treasure Island if you like a little spicy flavor. They gave me a free appetizer, deep fried crab with spicy mayo. I think it was called a "Holiday" definitely delicious. Do yourself a favor and order the Moonstone Pear Sake...Yum! read more

I love this place just as much as I love dionne, best sushi I have ever had, they treated me like a Buddha king. I will be back for more with more people, and the best part is the atmosphere, plus the treat they gave me on the house, the cut up oranges. You guys can find they got new booth in there. Those booth are what I delivered to them before. The owner came out to ask me to carry these booth into his restaurant. I did help him to do that. But when I finished my job he didn't give anything. Not even a thank you. The sushi guy who was working there was smoking, spitting on the ground. That really sucked. Those guys made me sick. read more

Don't get take out...you'll regret it. The sushi rolls were puny and the ingredients seem fresh. We had a fairly large order and almost all of it was disappointing. Maybe it was because it was a carry out order, not sure. PS I'm not that picky of an eater. read more

Food was good but the service was rude over the phone and in the store. The lady had an attitude the whole time. There is one lady especially who was a total bitch when taking our order. And was very rude when serving our food. I said "no spicy" and my mouth was burning the whole time! Not very sanatary either especially during COVID 19. read more

My husband decided to try out Fancy Sushi on our last date night since it was so close to the theater. We started with a seaweed salad and miso soup. The seaweed salad was excellent great flavor and good portion size (had a maraschino cherry on top. That's different but I am game) . The miso soup was ok. We have had better but it wasn't bad. Next we had the Shumai which also had good flavor and was presented very beautiful. We decided for out main course to share the Sushi and Sashimi combo. It came with mushroom soup and a salad. That will teach us to read the whole menu before eating next time. The California Roll was good. The sashimi was excellent the Ahi and Salmon were superb. The presentation was beautiful. Wish they didn't have a tv in the background playing CNN. Not a big fan of TV and when on a date night I don't need to be reminded of all the bad going on in the world. All in all a good date night as we had a good meal and got out in time for the movie. We will definitely be making another trip to Fancy Sushi in the future. read more

BEST SUSHI IN TOWN! Not only is close to home but there staff are fabulous and the sushi is even better. The Holiday starter is their complimentary starter and its delicious. Finally found a GREAT sushi spot! I've lived here a little over a year and I have tried several places but haven't been completely happy. We just ordered hibachi chicken and steak as well as a couple of sushi rolls and everything was fresh and tasty. The portion size of the hibachi steak and chicken was generous! Delicious, great prices. We've been ordering takeout meals for a few months now, and recently the dining area opened. While we are not dining in, at my last take out pick up I did notice it was incredibly packed inside, and while all staff were wearing masks, both sushi chefs were wearing them under their noses which sort of defeats the purpose. Great prices and quality overall. read more

gave this place 1 more chance. Sorry i did.The fish is old and smelly. They don't know how to season the sushi rice either. after eating a couple of bites i knew I should have never stepped into the place. Lost my appetite. Then as i was leaving the sushi "chef" and i use this term loosely, was prepping slices of cream cheese with a ticket spindle that was sitting out for lord knows how long and how many people had touched it. GROSS. I got to hand it to him for ingenuity but the level of sanitation here is scary. He was using his bare hands as well. read more

If it was a quarter of an inch wide, it was lucky. I could say the best part was the service was right on. They were extremely attentive. But I don't eat that. I eat the food. The fried vegetables were very fresh, which I appreciated, but they were simply battered and fried with no seasoning, so the freshness didn't translate into flavor. The takoyaki (octopus balls) were mostly batter and breading, with only a tiny piece of octopus inside--definitely not what they should be. On the positive side, the eating area was very clean, and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price. That said, being charged extra for a refill served in a small cup felt unnecessary and off-putting. This place may appeal to someone who doesn't eat ramen often or is looking for something "different," but for anyone familiar with well-seasoned ramen, birria, or Japanese street food, the lack of flavor is hard to overlook.

Ordered over $100 in food through Door Dash, they missed a dinner and when my daughter call the receptionist was rude and dismissive. When the manager came on the phone he denied dealing with Door Dash, said she "called the wrong restaurant" (we have the receipt for $107 and the menu sent from them and our delivery charge was "waived" yet after Apple Pay went through a $124 charge went on the card for a service charge which was not disclosed) After threatening my daughter and exclaiming "come here and say it face to face" the manager then hung up on her. Regardless of the food quality of what was delivered the poor customer service and lack of concern or respect to a what could have been a new customer. If you like abuse, please patronize these rude people. They will deliver 90% of your order for 20% more than the Door Dash promotes on their site. read more

Ask for the "SHRIMP BOAT". I just moved here from Southern California, where sushi bars/restaurants are on every corner like coffee shops. Hence the competition is fierce out there. I came upon this place and while exploring my new town and loved it. The Mexican Shrimp Roll is just awesome. The "shrimp boat" is a special item I brought from California that the chef makes for me. It has a shrimp bottom, rice, quail egg, fish egg, seaweed salad, a dash of tabasco sauce. Pick it up and eat it all in one bite. It'll be a flavor explosion your mouth has never experienced. This place is awesome! Fresh sashimi and sushi, healthy portion size, reasonably priced and great selection of rolls! Yellowtail, Conch, Eel, Tuna, Surf Clam, all Awesome! Service was also great. Went there twice, lunch and dinner. The lunch specials were okay.. the dinner is literally horrible. Not only they overcharge for the additional stuff you ask for. $3 for additional avocado in rolls, and $2.50 for a refill.. I mean are you SERIOUS? They have been so consistent through the years and love that they're one of the few places that doesn't go the "fusion" route where it's all fried rolls or mixed with crazy items instead of traditional Japanese sushi ingredients. Fancy Sushi is a very popular place with the locals. The food and service are excellent. I love the way the whole staff works together as a team. The rolls are a bit on the smaller side but are very good. For about $18 I had a soda, free appetizer, miso soup, salad, shrimp Teriyaki and free orange slices. How can you beat that?
