I have gone to this nail salon 3 times because I had a gift card and each time I was less and less satisfied. I would get acrylics and they would be falling off or lifting within a week! The vibe also wasn't the best I would get French tips with chrome or designs (things that are extra costs) and when I would go to pay they would ask if I could pay the price. Very rude! I had a good experience I didn't have to wait long. Annddd the prices are reasonable. I went in for a pedicure, which I desperately needed. I went in with ugly dry feet and toes came out with refreshed and pretty feet and toes :) The massage chair are AMAZING. They're super sting so it you need a deep massage their chairs will do the trick. Don't let the outside fool you when you walk inside it is Modern and clean. read more

I had gone to this place every two weeks for over 5 years because they do a pretty good job with nails. I made appointments each time and was taken back at least 20-30 minutes late. I have little kids and don't want to sit in a salon waiting when I could be with them so I politely explained this and asked Mimi to call me if she is running more than 10 minutes behind to tell me a better time to come in (or even another day). This request was repeated almost every time I was taken back late and it was never honored in my 5+ years going here. The last straw was when I had a 3pm appt. I saw my nail tech finish with someone at 3:10 and then she started with another client. I left and went down the street to another nail salon which ended up doing an even better job on my nails. I have since been to two other places who also did a much better job and respect my time. I won't be going back to Fancy Nails. read more

I take my sister who has Alzheimer's to this shop to get a gel manicure once a month. The staff are all very caring and gentle with her. I can sit next to her to reassure her. It is the highlight of her days. And yes, the gel manicure lasts 4-5 weeks, no chipping, just grows out. Great place. Excellent staff. read more

You might think you made an appt., but THEY didn't actually make your appt. The owners have absolutely no regard for anyone else's time. Zero. Had a 5:45 appt. today, finally started my appt. at 6:40. Two hours for a shellac polish change on my fingers, and a regular polish change on my toes. No mani./pedi. Just a color change. I would love to give them a better rating because they gave me a really amazing pedicure the last time I was there but the problem that I really cannot appreciate is the fact that I make an appointment every time and I have to wait so long before I can actually be seen. This really is inconvenient for me considering the fact that I have other things to do than to sit in a nail salon waiting for my appointment for 20 to 30 minutes. Today was just the last straw for me as I sat there and waited 30 minutes and had not been seen and other "people" that walked in after me (which just so happened to be white women) were seen before me. I ended up just leaving and going to a new salon to see how well they do. Hopefully this can be fixed and I can update this review with a better one. Waited 40 min to get seated for a gel pedicure. I got my big toe cut during my pedicure. Once the female tech completed the prep work, they switched me to a different tech to do the polishing, who was very rough and was in a big hurry. They could've done a second coat of color they're very sheer. Won't be returning. read more

Unless you get Mimi or Joey, there's no point in coming here. My family has been going to this salon for YEARS but it's completely hit or miss if you get a nail tech besides those 2. I got a shellac manicure and pedicure for $55 (price increase from last year) but the job is sloppy, uneven, and bumpy. Look at the attached photos. Really disappointed because my nails always look great with Mimi, but the other young woman in the salon really does not take her time to give quality work. read more

For once a nail salon's name is an actual representation for the good work they do. Came in today with an appointment and was taken back promptly. They spent quite a lot of time doing my nails, and they have stations where you move to each step. Tips on nails, you move once, nail bed cure you move a second time and polish you move to a third station. I can see how everyone works together and does a good job on your hands but this does make it more difficult to tip. It also was a bit hectic moving so much. Regardless, they did a fabulous job. I just don't like moving so much when I'm relaxing. I will be back for a pedicure for sure. There was no "hidden surprises or persuasion" with the cost. Which you know a lot of these other places do. Fair pricing, good service and neutral atmosphere. I didn't feel like they were talking about me or being rude. I can appreciate good service when I get it, especially now a days where everyone who works in the service industry is always mad. Fancy nails is very clean and they follow all COVID guidelines and procedures, everyone must sanitize before any service, and wear a mask. As for their services they are amazing!! I didn't get my nail tech's name but he was very gentle and so sweet! Had a pedicure yesterday for my sister who is in the middle of treatment and can't sit long...took her an hour late. Had fills scheduled for both of us today at 11. Me with Mimi and my sister with the owner's brother. My sister was finally started around 1130. As I sit here writing this, they thought it was just ok to start me an hour late. I am unsure why this salon makes appointments. Their lack of organization with respect to time is apparent. Their "couldn't give a shit" attitude about it sealed the deal for me. I have been coming to Fancy Nails for years, purely because it is close to my home. Every single time I come in they quote a wait time that is WAY less than the actual wait. I get that, but I was told 30 min then I waited one hour only to be put in a chair for a pedicure and wait another 20 min. I took my feet out of the water once it turned cold. And to add further insult, a woman who arrived after me(without an appointment), was taken before me. I walked out with wet feet!!! I will NOT be back. Very disappointed! We (my wife and I) went for pedicures. It's my birthday and my wife was treating me with a pedicure. We picked our colors. Waited for a moment and then asked to take a seat in the last two chairs. No water in my bowl although they started my wife's pedicure. They nearly finished hers and still had not started mine. I called last week and made 2 appointments for 6pm today, after arriving 10 minutes early we were instructed they were running behind and to come back at 6:10. Ok, I get it, I understand they just re-opened & Covid policies. We leave, wait in our car for 20 minutes and then at 6:10 head back in, behind 2 other "walk-in Clients," one of which gets seated immediately and not one employee acknowledges us standing there. Every chair is full, I finally walk over and approach the Owner to let her know we won't be keeping our 6pm appointments. She does apologize & say they are running behind, which is obvious by every chair currently being occupied. My real frustration, aside from the complete WASTE OF TIME, is in NOT being acknowledged before I had to approach after minutes went by and don't require me to make an appointment when it is completely pointless! honestly the most chaotic nail salon i have ever been to. i made an apt for 12:00pm. i walked into the salon and it was beyond packed. not turning away walk ins while appointments were arriving. i proceeded to wait an hour before finally being told to sit down. then she begins filing my nails and starts picking them off with her own finger nails and one eventually popped off, she said oops. jumping from person to person while still not turning away walk-ins. this was the worst nail experience i have ever had. if you want to wait 5 hours to get your nails done when you made the appointment a week earlier then this is ur spot queen read more

If you come here, you will be waiting at least 35 minutes. If you make an appointment, you'll be waiting for at least 20. They work on multiple people at a time while your just sitting there waiting to get yours done when they're halfway through. They overcharge for the horrible job they do.
