I have try three times now and this was the final straw! My gel nail polish peels off! The tech was rude to me this time . Gel polish on my skin . Not happy at all made appt got there made me wait 28 minutes after appt scheduled so not sure why i book appt it's been one full day and my gel polish is peeling off again they charge me $35 for the worse job ever! I had my first appointment at Fancy Nails Salon and Spa this week. Wow, was I impressed. My nail tech, Lyun Thach works there. I've been getting my pwdr dip by lyun for a year now. She is a professional at what she does. I will follow her wherever she goes. Her work is perfect. I'm glad she is now at a great location. The salon is clean and sanitized with additional COVID Safe precautions. They have added plexiglass at all booths and pedi chairs, that are also very comfortable. This establishment is going above and beyond the cdc protocols to protect their clients. I was also impressed by there supply of colors for pdr dip and matching pedi colors. The products they use for the pedi are also a step above. My feet feel so soft, I feel rejuvenated. I was really pleased with the service and am looking forward to going back. My mother went in for a pedicure, not a first time customer here. She asked the woman working how much for a pedicure, she responded with a price. Her husband shortly after storms over and states that the real price is $5 or so more. My mother nods her head acknowledging, to which he continues, "I can't just do this for free you know, I'm in this to make money".. berating her in front of other customers in the salon, when she not once disputed the pricing, even when he increased it after she was told the rate.. the time before this the woman tried to snatch cash out of my mothers hand at the cash register while she was looking for a card to pay with. I had an appointment with this nail salon today, I was traveling with a group of special needs children. When we arrived, they barely spoke to me, and when they did, they were rude. When we started to look at the nail polish, they told us not to touch them by yelling " hey don't touch", like we were bad children. I don't know about you, but when I go to the nail salon, I normally pick out my polish. When one of the girls I was caring for was getting her nails done the nail technician kept yelling to me "hey what does she want?" after I had already told her what she wanted. When she was done painting her nails she took her hands as if she was swishing away flies and said "get out, you're done, go sit down, get out!" You can imagine my horror at the treatment of these special needs children under my care. I then asked her if her nails were supposed to go under the ultraviolet lights or fan to dry them. She said no we don't have one get out. I almost didn't pay her, but I did. She charged me $20 for just putting polish on her nails, she didn't do anything that would be considered a manicure. I certainly did not tip her, and I could not wait to go home and write this review. As I was leaving a lady came in that was there earlier and complained about the job that they did stating she wanted them fixed, stating she had paid a lot of money. I had a fabulous experience with Lin/Linda. Very polite and professional. She did an excellent job! I had a pedicure and eye brow wax. The wax was 100% painless. I love how my pedicure looks. The pedicure and foot massage made me feel like a new person! I made an appointment ahead of time. The salon was very clean! Everyone had a face mask on and did every precaution to keep things clean. I will be back soon. Not that I will need it. Just because it was a great experience. Prices are comparable to other salons. read more

I do not recommend this salon. Nail tech did not speak English and couldn't understand me when I asked her not to touch my swollen ankle. Her techniques were questionable as she filed my nails aggressively after polishing the shellac on my nails. Because she put too much shellac on she had to file to get excess off. She cut my pinky with the file and 2 days later it is still swollen. My shellac didn't last 24 hours. Already peeling! This isn't the first time here... it's in a convenient spot, but I have never been impressed with the service or the outcome. This was the worst. I will not return. read more

So I figured I'd try this salon as it is close to home. I usually get liquid gel fill and a shellac over coat. She couldn't even find the liquid gel. When she did the brush was so sticky she couldn't even use it. She told me to just do the powder gel and I told he I try to avoid that as it lifts more then the liquid gel. She then kept complaining till I finally just said do the powder. As expected they are lifting and I need to get them removed and replaced. Lifting can allow liquid under the nail and cause bacteria to grow. Needless to say I won't go back. read more

Totally should have trusted the bad reviews. My daughter received a dip powder manicure at 3 pm on Saturday. By 9 pm one nail had popped off. By the next morning, 4 had popped off. We lost count by noon. We returned to the salon on Sunday, where I asked for a refund. I was rudely told there would be no refund, that they would redo the service - if I waited an hour, and that the fault must have been with my daughter's "oily" nails. I again asked for a refund and was directed to a tiny sign on a shelf that said "no refunds". I asked for the manager and was told he would be there in an hour. So basically, it was her fault the service didn't work, we could wait an hour for a redo, or wait an hour for a manger (who I was pretty sure would not show). There's a reason why chains like MiniLuxe have been able to be so successful in this crowded space. Customer service. A simple "We're sorry. Maybe that service isn't the best choice. We can't take care of it now. But here's a gift certificate for a future service. Please come back!" would have made all the difference. read more

After the first time I visited Fancy Nails I swore I'd never go back, but unfortunately I did and the result was the same. The younger girl that works there did my nails both times and I was just as disappointed each time. Not only was she rude but the job she did was horrendous. I got a dip manicure and as soon as I sat down she just started dipping my nails...no filing, shaping, cutting cuticles, etc. when I asked if she could clean up my nails her response was "a dip doesn't come with a manicure". Once finished, there was dip all over my skin and she literally didn't file them...save your time, money, and aggravation and go elsewhere!!!!!! read more

I went for a manicure and pedicure, wasn't pleased with either. I always ask for my toes cut as short as possible, the woman only cut my big toe down, didn't touch the others. She didn't file or shape my finger nails as all, and paint was left far outside the nail bed so it was peeling off of my finger and nails by the time I got home. read more

one star is a gift for them, I went to get my nails done and asked the younger one if she could do what I wanted and she said she could but she did something completely different and messed up the whole thing. When I asked her to fix it she got loud and tried to kick me out. She was yelling and screaming at me and my mother when I came back with my mother. She was calling us liars and rude and dramatic and a bad people threating to call the cops while my mother was trying to have a conversation about my nails with the manager. The woman working did horrible on my nails, they're uneven , not the shape I asked for cut three of my fingers filing them (mind you she kept going with my nails as I bled for 10 minutes and tried hiding the fact she cut me) and she couldn't do a single design or picture I showed her. I left with one solid color on all of my uneven nails , I'm embarrassed and when I asked her to fix them she shortened them and told me "Fixed" when none of them are fixed. After two hours of me sitting in that chair I legit with one solid color nails , nothing I asked for and now am 35$ poorer. read more

I've never made a complaint in my entire life about a nail salon, but this is the first time I've ever had such a terrible experience. I made the mistake of going to this salon for the same kind of manicure I've been getting my entire life: square round nails. But, towards the end of the manicure, when I looked down, my nails were completely square. I asked nicely for the young woman to round them off with a file. She replied that she doesn't use a file. I said, "It's a manicure place. Do you have a file? I'll do it." She said, "I can't let you do that. This is what you asked for." When I said, no, this is the kind of manicure I always get, she raised her voice and began to argue with me, telling me I had made a mistake. We went back and forth, and rather than correct her mistake, she continued to argue with me and accused me of needing medication. All through this, her boss kept yelling at her to stop, but she wouldn't. Finally, the older woman offered to fix my nails, which she did, to my satisfaction. But during the entire time, the younger woman stood in my sightline and glared angrily at me. Despite the older woman correcting the situation, I've never been verbally abused in a nail salon before. I have to say this was, by far, the worst 15minute pedicure, I have ever received, cheaply too. They did not use anything in the water, while I waited for 10mins. They did not use cuticle cream/lotion.. my cuticles were hardly touched.. nothing scrape from under the nails, no massage above the ankle.. if I would even call it a massage. My feet are not even soft.. Then the paint job was horrendous. I feel like I still need to get a pedicure.. This was the first and LAST time I will go here. read more

Went in for a pedicure. The lady was sleeping behind the desk when I walked in, I startled her. Asked for a pedicure she went down to the chair & started getting the tub ready. I followed her after picking out my polish. She had a hard time getting my polish off and kept shaking her head at me and making remarks. She then took a nail file and begun filing away at my poor toes. After a minute of pure pain I spoke up and said you're filing my skin off. She didn't understand because I wasn't speaking Vietnamese so I showed her it hurts. She then walked away and grabbed some sort of hand held drill and filed my nails down. At this point I should have just walked out. I wish I had listened to my gut! She was so impersonal and asked where I lived and if I ever came in there before, I said yes. She was like no I never seen you before! I'm like ok, likewise? Then she was scrubbing my foot with the pumice stone and massaged my legs no higher than my ankle. I had my pants rolled up all the way to my knee expecting a nice leg massage as usual with a pedi. So after it was all said and done my toes looked pretty and gave her a $5 tip. Now it's 5am and I woke up in pain. It seems like she drilled too much nail off my big toe! I can't even press on it. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here.
