I'm excited to see how long these last, and I will definitely get them done again.

I find that the place down the street (*insert dragon emoji*) is more speed-oriented and focuses on just getting it done rather than what you want done and ensuring your not hurt during the service; whereas with My Nails they're very detail-oriented and take their time to ensure the service is done right and is pleasurable while doing so [use this info as you wish, everyone prioritizes different things when getting nails done] They're definitely my go-to! I was left with a rushed, terrible job that was so bad my friends immediately asked who did…read moreit--just so they could avoid her themselves. It's embarrassing how she left my eyebrows. I specifically asked for something lighter than my eyebrows, natural-looking, and blended in so it wouldn't even look like they were "done." She clearly ignored everything I said. The lines are extremely dark, uneven, and far darker than my natural brows. The shading on the bottom is sloppy and laughable. Not only did she fail to listen to my concerns, but the result looks harsh, unnatural, and nothing like what I requested. $700 later, not only am I out that money, but now I'll have to spend over $2,000 to get them removed, as a true professional recommended, because there is no fixing this mess. (I posted her text.) What makes this worse is the provider's unprofessional response and complete lack of accountability. She showed no concern for the disastrous results, nor any willingness to find a solution. The lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility is unacceptable. All I wanted was for her to understand that the job was not up to anyone's standards like she claims, but all I got was short responses and, in the end, a thumbs up. If she can't see that the job was poor, then she shouldn't have a business at all. Way to go, Treya--you have outdone yourself!

I was told I would need to have my nails soaked off and get a new full set for $80. I agreed to that price because I was told it was necessary. However, the nail technician kept my existing tips and did a fill with gel instead. I also chose a polka dot design. At checkout, my friend was charged $50 for what appeared to be the same fill without a design. I was charged $80 for the fill plus $20 for polka dots, bringing my total to $100. When I asked why I was paying the quoted full set price even though my nails had not been removed or replaced, I was told it was $80 because I got gel. I tried to explain the difference, but the staff continued to argue rather than clarify the charges. I left feeling overcharged and misled. I won't be returning, and I recommend confirming the exact price for the service they actually perform before they begin.
