Best spa around, if you ask me and I go to plenty. Just the right size, just the right amount of…read moretherapists and FANTASTIC, gentle products used and sold. The facials here are really superb, especially if you have problematic or congested skin. They will never, ever force an extraction on a bump if it's still under the skin or if it's just plainly not ready to be extracted. They will talk to you about your skin type and what you could add/remove/try to improve your complexion (but never try to push you on their products). My skin is also sensitive, but I never leave with a red, blotchy face and I'm always shocked at how clear and fresh I look the next day. I had my first massage here and now I'm hooked. Unfortunately I live out of state now, but if I did live in the area I would try to come monthly. I actually fell asleep on the table! I work on my feet 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week and had a lot of tension in my upper back. All of that was reversed. To the gentleman complaining about cell phone use: Have you ever been to a spa before? It's pretty industry standard to restrict cell phone use indoors. Since spas are known for tranquility and relaxation and all... They offer gift certificates, too if you're looking for a great way to pamper someone in your life. Very reasonable pricing and services: http://www.creativecomforts.massagetherapy.com/services-and-rates

Very friendly staff! Each member of the team always offers me legitimate items that serve my…read moreneeds. The cosmetic department is always great with complimenting my purchase with big saving from coupons the clerk cut at home for the customers! The photo staff knows their stuff, very well trained. The only disappointment is that they are usually stocking the inside of the cooler and you have to wait for someone to notice you and then find the photo department employee for you. The pharmacy is very informative, always suggesting great remedies and which products are the best for my buck. This place has great deals, however, when I'm purchasing a gallon of milk - it's more than annoying when I'm offered to purchase a 24 pack of batteries along with it. What? Then if I return 2 minutes later because I forgot the butter, the clerk asks me once again "Would you like to purchase a 24 pack of batteries?" I scowl over at the display and notice the sign that states "FREE (if I don't offer to you)" - what a horrible way to do business. This practice might want to be put to rest, CVS is within walking distance. The only other suggestion that I have for this place is tidiness. I understand that they are utilizing staff from every other department to build the Christmas display in August so they are rushing... but the middle of the day shopping experience seems to include large boxes in the middle of the aisle and usually someone on top of a ladder preventing customers from getting by. Whatever happened to having the store "ready to sell" when the doors open? Large displays should not be constructed during business hours.

Five stars for the sweet ladies in cosmetics! I shop here almost every day.. I hate big stores…read moresuch as Wal-Mart.. These lovely ladies are so helpful, I tell them what I need and they do the shopping for me! They guide me thru what is on sale.. and even pull out coupons! Because of their hospitality, I know ill be a customer for life!

I came to Dimensions for a Spa Week special (the 60 Min Fusion Stone Massage with Hair Blow-Out). I…read morewent with a friend on a Saturday (she was also getting the fusion massage). Dimensions is really cute--clean and comfortable, with friendly employees. Kim was my masseuse, and Leanne did my blow out. Both ladies were great; Kim gave a mean hot stone massage (my first!), and I came away feeling very relaxed. She asked about pressure, temperatures and scents, which I think made for a better, more personalized experience. Leanne made my hair look way better than I usually do with the blow out, though she didn't use any product, which I liked. The spa area is small, so don't be surprised if there is only one facialist/masseuse on hand at a time. My friend and I had appointments an hour apart, but there is a comfortable, separate waiting area for the spa that we hung out in in between! Also, I don't think they allow you to tip on credit cards, so bring some cash with you. As an Aveda Concept Salon, you know you'll be getting quality products. With a professional staff and a (seemingly) wide range of promotions, I'd definitely recommend Dimensions for all you south shore folks!

Today was my first visit to Dimensions. I am always on the look-out for new places and their…read morewebsite caught my eye for several reasons. First, they are an Aveda salon, so right away you know they are using quality products and observing certain standards. Next, the website features a video of the owner and I just liked how she came across. The website recommends hhat you "friend" them on Facebook, for up-to-the-minute info. I am an "internet" person and so I like to patronize businesses that make the most of their online presence. But all of that doesn't matter if the service is sub-par, so the proof is in going. Because it was my first visit, there was a tour. I like that. If I go someplace for a service, I want to know what else they do. It's an open design and the space flows well. You move from the retail in the front to the hair design, to the shampoo space. There is a separate room for nail services and another space entirely for spa services. All spaces feel accomodating. I have been places where rooms are too small and that's uncomfortable. The treatment bed was comfortable and had heat & electric controls, so Kim could adjust it to suit me perfectly. I had a massage with the oil & aroma I wanted from a selection presented to me. It was followed by a facial and a bbody polish. My services weren't rushed and were among the best I have recieved anywhere. It was a special, but it would have been worth it at the regular price. The prices were very reasonable and much better than you would pay in the city. My interactions with other staff were also pleasant. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming. I will absolutely be going back, I am a fan!
