Now nearly thirty years later "Nichole I need you, the Doc says it's frozen shoulder and cortisone shots are the next option" or "Nichole, it's tendinitis and it is the most painful thing I have ever experienced, they gave me drugs and a wrist guard-HELP!" I went to see her immediately and we scheduled a series of appointments and set a plan into motion. We talked about the inflammation and how heat, ice and stretching my body properly would help with the process. She also introduced me to the some facts about proper nutrition and very simply explained that what I was putting into my body was exactly what I could expect to get out of it. I was enlightened when I left her that day and ready to start treating my body better so we began the process of deep-tissue muscle massage. In less than a month I could feel the healing begin to take place and I was amazed. When you start to lose function of a body part(s), it's terrifying as is the thought of surgery or big needles to fix said parts. As I started to heal I had a whole new respect for my sister, her profession and her education. As I sit here typing this review almost a year later, I have absolutely no pain in my wrist and this morning I did 30 minutes of free weight arm exercises without even a twinge of pain in my shoulder. This woman is a goddess among men and women. I swear she is the most perfect human being I've ever met. I've been going to her for about a year now and I felt as though I couldn't write something that hasn't already been written. But I figured that because of my amazing experience today, I'll share my story. I'd had experiences with waxing before, normally at nail salons. Every time I'd gone, my eyebrows would be either too thin or messed up or even half done. I thought there was nothing better I could get, so I dealt with it. When it came to getting a Brazilian, it was a different story. I was terrified of getting a botched job so I researched heavily into the right place. At 8.5 months pregnant I was both nervous and excited to get a massage. I really wanted one but didn't realize how much I NEEDED it. Nichole came highly recommended so I didn't think twice before choosing her to help with my aching body. I was put on bed rest for 6 weeks of my pregnancy causing some pretty severe pain in my hips and lower back from lack of movement. Nichole stretched and worked out my painful groin area as well as the other affected muscles like my upper legs. I had no idea the extent of the damage but her knowledge of the human body helped to alleviate the pain and prevent it from reoccurring by working out the entire area rather than just the exact spot of the pain. Nichole knew places on my body that would be tender and need some work that I didn't even know! My chest, the sides of my calves, and near my should blades to name a few. They're all parts of the body that I wouldn't even think of as needing to be massaged but the relief I felt in those areas after my appointment was indescribable. I had been experiencing an incredible amount of pain for weeks a few months ago. I had been to doctor for x-rays and I've had an ultra sound, neither were very helpful in identifying my pain. The pain was such that I thought I broke a rib. I spoke to Nichole about my pain and she was gracious enough to take me Thanksgiving morning since I was going to be in town. (I live 2 hours away) I spoke to her regarding my pain and where I thought it originated from. Her brain immediately started working and she brought me to a few charts to educate me on Muscle and ligaments and how they work. The area that continuously came up was my latissimus dorsi. This is where the pain sounded like it originated from. Nichole started massage and almost instantly we knew this was the area of concern. This place was recommended to me by Mark Featherstone who is an MMA trainer in the area. I'd had a persistent hip injury that I was unable to remedy by following the normal courses of therapy, heath, rest, ice etc. Basically it was a snapping hip similar to snapping hip syndrome. Nicole and Shari were able to work out the difficulty in 2-3 visits to the point the hip no longer snaps and my flexibility is steadily improving. Prices are reasonable I think for what they do as this is not easy work. Muscles can be tough to manipulate and they're at it for an hour each time. I've found the online scheduling tool to be easy to use, and they do email prior to appointments. I never knew they were there, but the office is across the street from Captain Al's which everyone seems to know in the area. read more

Years ago I had my first massage at a resort spa and it was a horrible experience. Years later I had a hip injury along with horrible back pain. We love getting massages from Nichole!! I imagine I have had at least 10 sessions with her. Sadly we no longer live in the same state. I have had several massages since and NONE have compared.
