Rarely do I ever get my nails done, but when I do it's here and with Kahn! She always does a perfect job and she makes it look so easy! I was planning on celebrating my birthday (and apparently my engagement) at Disney for the weekend and wanted a pretty Disney design so Kahn put little mickeys and rhinestones on my nail! They came out beautiful and with the amount of compliments I got during the week I think a lot of people also agreed! I wish I had a better picture of my nails but this was the best one I got. The salon is super clean and they've got a huge assortment of gel colors (and regular colors as well). Like it took forever for me to pick a color because there was just so many choices (first world problem indeed)! The employees here are super friendly! I highly recommend coming here and if you have chance definitely ask for Kahn! She's amazing! read more

Quality speaks for itself. I've been going to Amy and Tommy's nail salon for close to 11 years and my manicures (both gel and regular) and pedicures are always flawless. I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this well deserved review, but moving out of Orlando has made me realize that while I always appreciated the quality service at this nail salon, I never took the opportunity to share it. If you are in the Conway/Belle Isle area or want to swing through, this place will treat you well. I started going here a few years ago when I moved to the Belle Isle area and I love them. When I walk in the door I'm greeted by name and they know exactly what I need. This is a small nail spa so if you go at a busy time without an appointment there will most likely be a wait...be patient! For $23 you will get an amazing pedicure. Foot soak, trim, exfoliate, leg mask, warm towels and a great polish job. Now, I'd been over paying for years for pedicures like this. For the price I noticed that most places only give you the basic, soak, trim, polish and if you wanted more it was around $50. Never again will I be fooled. They do gel polish for your manicure for about $25 - affordable and done with care. The pink and white nails are also a great price and they last long and look wonderful. There are other services offered, such as waxing. I haven't utilized them for that but I've seen a lot of satisfied customers coming in for that. The shop itself is part of the Publix shopping center and very unassuming, but don;t judge a book by it's cover. Go inside, sit back and relax for a little pampering. read more

First off I would give 0 stars for this visit but I am not given that option. This place sucks since they sold it. I have gone to this place since it opened but not since they sold it. That was a wise choice on my part. Stay clear if you want what you pay for because they certainly do not give you what you pay for. We came in today because my daughter wanted to suprise me with a pedicure. My sisters pedicure started 5 minutes or longer before mine and finished 5 minutes after mine. I didnt want my feet razored because this causes your feet to get worse. I asked for stone. I have a spot on my toe thats a callous that I have had since someone razored my feet. I have never had a problem with anyone including myself using a stone to make it go down. However the lady who did my feet didnt want to do it unless I used a razor and refused to stone it when I asked. What the hell are we paying for if you wont do your job? Mind you she did not even go over it once with the stone. Go to Amys or the place across the street. I will NEVER go back to this place again. Horrible you wont waste your time here because youll be out faster than you came in. Ruined my whole suprise relax day. read more

I am amazed with the amount of nail salons we have in Orlando. I really wanted a pedicure and manicure before my vacation, so I went on Yelp to find the perfect place. I honestly became overwhelemed with the amount of choices. I ended up just choosing the place that was closest to me. I know this isn't always the smartest idea, but I ended up being really happy with my choice. Fancy Nail Tips is a pretty small nail salon. They have about 5 or 6 manicure stations and the same amount of pedicure seats. I came right when they opended and had no wait. The pedicure chairs are very comfy with the massagers. My nail tech was very nice, but her English was limited and I did have a very hard time understanding her. The service here was great. They included a leg massage, several different types of gels/creams, hot towels, hand massage, manicure, and pedicure all for $33.00. I was very happy with my results. I ended up messing up the polish on my nail before I even got home. I came in later and the nail tech fixed it right away. My only complaint woud be their lack of nail polish selection. They had a very limited variety and very few OPI brands. They actually had some cheaper polish that you could buy at Walmart. I hope they continue to work on their polish selection. read more

I've been here before and was never really blown away, but it's close to my house. I'm sitting in the chair right now. When I got here there were 2 other customers and 6 employees. They sat me in a chair for a pedicure and left me there. For 20 minutes. The lady say down in a manicure chair and was ABSOLUTELY CHILLIN while I sat in a pedicure chair, with no water. An employee finally comes out and turns on the water. Then she walks away and talks to the chillaxed employee across from me. Two more employees come out and they chat in another language for a few minutes before FINALLY one of them begins my pedicure. Now, you would think my toes had caused this woman's divorce the way she was tearing into them with the cuticle clippers. My toes are actually bleeding. Believe it or not, I will not be coming back to fancy tips. I'll drive the extra 30 seconds to Amy's nails for a more friendly, less painful experience. read more

I'm sorry to do this but this has to be the worst manicure I have ever gotten. The lady did not say more than two words to me ( I had picked my color and was talking to my friend so the lady heard what I wanted). She smiled and was nice but my nails look horrible. I had to ask her to paint one of my toenails because she missed half of it. The coats on each nail are so uneven and I left optimistic but it has been 4 days and my nails now look like they haven't been done in a month. I haven't washed dishes or anything like that so my nails should be intact. My nails do not grow fast and even if they did my cuticles are proof that the manicure was poorly done. Oh and by uneven paint I mean you can see clear through the dark paint in some spots parts of my nails only have clear polish others have paint but no top coat and she did not paint to my cuticles or even close for that matter, it's just terrible. Very clean, super friendly staff (Amy and her husband own the salon), unique and innovative products, and great service. Each member takes their time, the studio is beautifully decorated and calming.
