First time here. We came to town to see a show at the UWW Young Theatre. Food: The menu offers a great selection of beverages and classic Italian dishes. With Valentine's Day approaching, they also had some special drinks. I ordered the "Italian Connection," a simple cocktail made with brandy, amaretto, and Bordeaux cherries. It both smelled and tasted wonderful. Complimentary breadsticks were brought out along with plates of olive oil and parmesan. They arrived nice and warm, and more were brought out during the meal. Knowing the entrées were generously sized and that we wanted dessert, we skipped appetizers. Our entrées also came with salads. The four of us ordered Chicken Piccata, Puttanesca with Meatballs, Portobello Ravioli, and Chicken Francese. The salads were good, though not exceptional. My Puttanesca was a bit spicier than expected, but it was excellent. The meatball was firm, the sauce slightly chunky, everything was served hot, and the portions were generous. I also sampled the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Francese, both of which were extremely tender and very flavorful. Since we saved room for dessert, we ordered the Peanut Butter Cheesecake and the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake. Both were very good and a nice way to finish the meal. Service: From the time we arrived until we left, we were well taken care of. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server, Anna, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive, with lots of genuine smiles and conversation. There was always someone checking on water refills and bringing extra breadsticks. My one complaint was the pacing of the meal. We were in no hurry and specifically mentioned at the beginning that we wanted a relaxed experience. That was going well until our entrées arrived while we were still in the middle of our salads. Our server apologized, but there was simply too much food to fit on the table. Some of us quickly finished our salads to make room, which was exactly what we were hoping to avoid. Atmosphere: The restaurant is located in a small indoor mall in the "downtown" area, alongside other restaurants and businesses. You enter through the mall, where there are some dining tables, and then into the restaurant itself, where we were seated. Inside, the restaurant is set up with tables that have views of the street and offers a nice, relaxing ambiance. While we were there, the restaurant became quite busy. It was noisy, but we were still able to have conversations. The temperature inside the restaurant was comfortable, though the mall area felt a bit cool for diners seated there. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would have appreciated the pacing of the food to better match the relaxed atmosphere, especially since I had mentioned that preference at the start of the meal. Nice people, excellent food, inventive drinks, and a comfortable environment. I would definitely stop again.

One of my favorite Italian spots ! Hidden in downtown whitewater, you walk into beautiful ceiling flowers and beautiful atmospher! Owners are Italian. Tabby was our service she was super sweet, and playful with me my sister and mom on our girls night out! Took great care of us... Cant wait to get back there again! lasagna was delicious, the bruschetta is to die for! Bread and olive oil served right away. Good wine good dessert. 5 stars!

We passed through the area and saw the good reviews for this place. It was before the dinner rush, but the place filled up quickly. Our waiter, Devin, was friendly, courteous and attentive. My mother raved over the Brandy Alexander and the real whipped cream. I had the eggplant parm and the others all had the ravioli that they liked. The tiramisu I had for dessert was one of the best I've had. If I lived locally, I would totally frequent this place.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have been to in a long time. Service by Kelsey was exceptional. The atmosphere is perfect Italian flare. The food was amazingly delicious. Chicken parm and Chicken Frances's oh my goodness out of this world. Chef gets a 200% positive from us. Just overall excellent.

Amazing Italian food in a small college town! The dishes are way better than Olive Garden!!

Tortellini with marinara

Special drinks for Christmas. Always great Italian food. Entertain special requests. I wanted marinara instead of pesto on the tortellini. They were happy to oblige.

The food is consistently good at Fanatico's and tonight's dinner was no exception. Thanks Max, for the great service as well. Lovely spot.

There are good restaurants and there's Holy Cannoli a great restaurant. What makes the difference…read moreis the proprietor. In this case her name is Melissa who was more than nice to us and made sure our experience was second to none. We felt so at home we closed the placed out. When I say the penne pasta is al dente, there's still fight in them, definitely not wimpy, pair that with their light creamy vodka sauce and is quite possibly the best pasta I've had lately. Special mention also goes to the grilled octopus on a bed of Arugula. The restaurant is called holy cannoli so of course we had it but what takes the cake is the tiramisu- just get it trust me you'll like it. If you don't we can't be friends anymore.

First the good: The gnocchi is made in house and delicious. Also, their dirty martinis and…read moretiramisus are pretty solid. Second the not so great: I ordered a side of spinach for a little over $8 and the portion was very small. Plus, the spinach came out half uncooked and with a piece of broccoli stem in it too. Finally, there was some confusion with the order and the server wasn't very accommodating and essentially told my party that we were misremembering what dishes were ordered. However, it was Labor Day weekend so I can get being overwhelmed by the volume of people. Overall, I would give it another shot but I'm not dying to go back on a busy weekend.
