My kids love their Premarinated meat, excellent shrimp (already cleaned and deveined) and great goat meat. I wish they had turkey

Without a doubt (IMHO) the best Cajun fare this side of NOLA. Stuffed has occupied this space, on…read more620, forever and they are always busy. That should tell you something. ------ You can order lunch/dinner to go, dine in, or buy a ready-to-cook option from their grocery section. All their food is made fresh so you may need to wait a bit for your order. ---- On this visit we ordered a slew of food including gumbo, red beans and rice, jambalaya, fried okra, pickles, and mushrooms. I love that the rice is placed in separate containers. We tore through this feast, and everyone commented on how good it was. ---- Their boudin is also made in-house and offer options like traditional pork, Texas with jalapenos, crawfish and so on... There's a good selection of sausage links including specials. And of course, when in season crawfish. --- During the holidays you can order a smoked turkey or a turducken. Order early! ---- Can't wait to return and dine in next time and enjoy an Abita Amber with my meal. --- Laissez les bons temps rouler!

So Absolutely disappointed... I was hoping for cracklins…read moresimilar to The B*st St*p in Broussard, LA but the cracklins were soft, with no crunch. They were more like just eating pork belly.. The flavor wasn't bad honestly, just way undercooked from any cracklin I've ever had, and not like anything we normally eat back home. The etouffee was white instead of orangish-red, so I knew what was coming. I had a bite and that was all I needed. I know some folks in north Louisiana use cream of mushroom in their etouffee, which is a mortal sin in Central Louisiana, but my wife (from Indiana liked it) We also ordered a shrimp poboy. The Gambino's bread is clutch and they did that right by ordering it from Nola but.. the batter on the shrimp was flaking off and lacked any kick of seasoning.. I'm from Eunice and grew up eating all kinds of variations of Cajun food cooked in LA. For me personally, I won't ever order from here again. I was trying to watch the Saints game and have a taste of home, but this isn't it. That said, we have heard from others that thought it was great and recommended it to us, so take my opinion as only my opinion. I do hope this company does well and wish them all the success. I just can't eat it. Sorry for the bad review, y'all. Just had to be honest. ‍

I learned about I-35 traffic while visiting Austin. It's just as bad as driving on I-5 in Seattle…read moreand LA. It was fine getting to 99 Ranch from downtown Austin but getting back to the hotel during rush hour was brutal. At least gas is more affordable in Austin though. 99 Ranch locations are indicators of Asian communities in the US. I wanted to check out the 99 Ranch in Austin before flying back home. The store is in a strip mall and within walking distance of other Asian businesses, businesses similar to the ones you'd find in Downtown Seattle and Tukwila/Southcenter. This 99 Ranch location is newer and cleaner than the one in Kent, WA. Staff were friendlier most likely because it was midday and during the week. I'm sure if it was after work or the weekend the store would have been crowded just like the HMart off Lakeline Blvd. Merch was reasonably priced. Sales tax in TX is less than WA. They also had a separate store around the corner for alcohol. With the high cost of living on the West Coast I'm sure people will continue to move to Texas. They'll find communities or create communities similar to what they've experienced prior to moving to the Lone Star State.

Went by on a Sunday evening for groceries, but ended up grabbing dinner there too. The line can…read moresurprisingly get pretty long, so be prepared, but they have plenty of seating, so you can eat there first and then go shopping afterward. Super convenient setup with a bunch of options. Think of it as a slightly more authentic, low key Panda Express with much larger portions. Like most Asian fast casual spots in this style, they really pile on the food. Three Item Combo ($11.99, 10/10) - comes with a side of fried rice or noodles, or you can split it half and half. Fried rice is definitely cooked better than Panda's. Not too salty, and pairs really well with the entrees. - Orange Chicken had its own spin, a little different from Panda Express but similar overall, crunchy (though not as crunchy as Panda) and very flavorful - Eggplant was amazing, deep fried and then sauteed in a savory marinade, tender, hot, and packed with flavor - 3rd entree sauteed chicken and pepper dish, wasn't as crispy but had a nice Sichuan-ish flavor that paired well with the noodles and rice - the 2 of us were quite hungry going in, but we couldn't even finish 1 order. Portions here are genuinely huge and easily stretch into leftovers for one person Overall, if you're going to 99 Ranch for authentic Asian groceries, definitely check out their food court too. Great prices, fantastic portions, great flavor, and super convenient before or after you shop. Keep it up, 99 Ranch.
