Not bad with products too much...... just the store is really GROSS.
Dirty would be a good way to describe it....... or unorganized, or even sometimes empty-shelved. It's just not an enjoyable place to shop under any circumstances. This place is seriously the pits of Stoughton.... it's just so low-down and uneventful.
The store needs major overhauls of the bright yellow walls and the overwhelming bright lights. Also, both of the price scanners that both don't work need to be replaced. And for that matter, the overgrowing pile of stuff at the register should be getting dealt with by one of the employees that is sitting on their phone, that instead should be stocking these items or organizing this disaster of a store.
It's a disgrace what this place has gotten to, then again, some other Family Dollars are similar so it isn't a complete shock. What is shocking is that corporate doesn't inspect their stores, and even management doesn't care enough to clean up their act. Just because they are a discount store, it doesn't give them special privileges to leave the store a mess. Not nearly everything (nor anything) is a dollar here... and the reason that "dollar" is used in the title of the store still confuses me till this day.
Not a place I'd look forward to or even entertain the thought of coming back to. Even though the Walgreens and CVS down the road are also both horrible, they are marginally better. 1 star. read more
