When the hygienist called us back, we saw that the rooms had different themes like the Jungle Room. The hygienist was super gentle and good with kids. She was making my daughter feel at ease by saying things to make her smile. She put sunglasses on my daughter so the bright lights wouldn't bother her, and she thought that am was really cool. All the flavors of toothpaste were kid-approved, and she gave my daughter the option to pick (she picked strawberry!) Then the dentist came back to count and document which teeth had come through. He was also gentle and funny and my daughter was very cooperative. He also offered flavors of fluoride which he described as "vitamins for teeth." She picked orange and liked it. At the end, she got to pick out a prize, and she was all smiles! We will be back in 6 months.

The appointment confirmation didn't even include the provider's name, and no one told me beforehand that the provider was out of network. When I brought this up, the office simply told me it was my responsibility and refused to take any responsibility for assigning me to an out-of-network provider without letting me know. I think patients should be told this upfront so they can decide whether to proceed. I used to really like this place because of Dr. Rob, but he has since left. I had already been switching hygienists because I felt the cleanings were often rushed and not thorough ( I was in a dental hygiene program). I kept coming back mainly because I trusted Dr. Rob, but now that he's gone, I think it's time to find another dental office.

My son is a scaredy cat in general but his experiences with little smiles has him asking me to go back to the dentist everyday! The office is new, modern and has a tv with kids movies playing in the waiting room. Each chair has its own tv for the comfort of the kids. But my favorite thing about the entire practice is how patient and amazing the entire staff is with children. There is something so special about Little Smiles. They have a cute little built in house with books and little toys for small kids and they have games for the older kids too, my son loves the racing game they have! Their TV is always playing some type Disney movie and their decor resembles somewhat of a Forrest, super cute and appealing for kids. The front desk is very attentive and polite. They're really good at sending reminders for appointments and assisting with setting up appointments. Their wait times are very minimal. I've never gone there and waited longer than 5 minutes to be called. As for the staff in the back, they're angels. Their dental assistants are so patient and gentle. My son isn't very fond of the dentist and it takes a little longer than usual for a simple cleaning....usually if the assistant is having issues with the cleaning the dentist steps in and helps. They're literal angels and definitely know how to deal with children. Recently we went in for a quick cleaning and of course he was giving some push back. Our dentist was amazing! She was able to calm him down and gain his trust. I am very pleased with their services and bed side manners. Even though I've moved from the Burke area I will continue to make the drive here. I've been recommending this location to friends I have in the area. If you prefer fluoride or no fluoride to be used for the cleaning they are very respectful with your choices and will always tailor to the needs of your child.
