Overview: I had a very positive experience. Their work was very well done and their staff was professional. Performance: The evaluation was pretty standard. Dr. Fein (pronounced Fine) used ice picks to see if I could feel them. I needed a root canal and this was really well done. Even my dentist asked about it since it was well done and also the hole made was smaller than what she normally sees. They injected numbing agents (they offered gas if I felt anxious) and they had tools that made it easier to keep my mouth from closing or reacting to the procedure. Since they were cleaning out a nerve, there was some pain, but he was able to warn me before I felt anything. Staff: The staff was friendly and professional. I showed up late, but they didn't see bothered or annoyed which I appreciate. During the procedure, Dr. Fein taught his assistant about the procedure which I appreciate. I listened in and learned a few things, but it prevented the whole procedure from being just drilling. Facility: There are only a few chairs, but I didn't wait very long considering I showed up a little late for my appointments. There is a water dispenser but not restroom in office. There is one down the hallway and the office is located in a commercial building. The office was clean and well maintained. The chair had a TV for viewing if you get bored.

My dentist had referred me to see an endodontist due to thinning roots. If I should start to experience pain I definitely feel I will be in good hands with Dr. Djeu to provide treatment when needed as she explained it will need to be done down the road but not immediately. Additionally, she informed the front office to provide a discount for the visit as I have no insurance.

The aspect of this visit that made it worth reviewing in a public forum is that I had several questions and worries about the treatment/procedure, and was able to engage Dr. Lee directly and privately on those, and he responded immediately, clearly, expansively, and kindly. This is what we should look for in a health care provider. Someone we can trust. I would think that anybody could count on EE and the professionals there for exceptional medical care and, atop that, actual care for you as a human being.
