I randomly walked in off the street and they accepted me on a busy Saturday afternoon with open arms. The helped me with my grandmother's rings I inherited after she passed away. I chose not to sell them but instead have them sized to fit me. They took their time explaining my options and helping me with the best fit. They made me feel at ease and didn't rush me through the process. I brought all of her old paperwork from Meyer's jewelers from 37 years ago and the owner Terry was familiar with the people who sold my grandmother her rings back in the 80s. It was like something out of the time vault and the connection was made. The best part of all, they're super pet friendly and my big Belgian Malinois was invited inside where he was loved on by the owners and staff. I highly recommend Olde Towne Jewelers.

We've always liked supporting a small, family run business, and his daughter has consistently been kind and helpful. Unfortunately, our recent experience was really disappointing. My mom tried to order a bracelet for my one year old, but she was never told there would be a $40 shipping fee. The first bracelet arrived damaged, and the replacement wasn't the quality she expected, so she decided not to buy it. Byron became upset and started yelling at her, which left her shocked and hurt, especially after being such a loyal customer for so many years. A few months later, I went back to see if things had smoothed over, but Byron stood by his reaction and never offered any apology. After so many years of loyalty, it's sad to feel so dismissed. We've always made an effort to support local businesses, but after this experience, we won't be returning.

My husband and I have been married for over 12 years, and we had been talking about redesigning my wedding set for quite some time. Felicia was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process, helping me narrow down what I wanted--and just as importantly, what I didn't want. She was also very mindful of my price range and never showed me anything over budget. In fact, she often kept me under budget, which made the experience even better. Mark was also wonderful and very helpful throughout the process. When I felt stuck or overwhelmed by all the different settings, Mark and Felicia were patient, supportive, and helped me get back on track. Looking at so many options can be overwhelming, but they made the entire experience feel easy, enjoyable, and truly special. Since I wanted my husband to be there for the final decision, we came back together the next day. Even though I thought I had already found what I wanted, something still felt like it was missing. In true overthinking fashion, I decided to start over--and Felicia could not have been more patient with me. I never once felt rushed or pressured; I could genuinely tell that she wanted me to be completely happy, no matter how long it took to find the perfect set. When I finally found the one, I started crying because I knew it was meant to be. Mark chimed in and assured me it was beautiful and that he would find "the perfect" stone for me. He was not kidding!! Wow. About a month later, I couldn't stop thinking about adding a hidden halo. Although I felt a little silly calling weeks after we had finalized the design, I reached out to Felicia, and she was once again so kind and reassuring. Between Felicia, Mark, and A. Jaffe, they made my dream ring a reality. It took a little extra time, but it was absolutely worth the wait. When I went in to pick up my rings, Mark and Nate helped me, and they were just as wonderful. They truly make such a great team. The experience felt so natural and personable that it quickly became about more than just jewelry--it felt like working with people who genuinely cared. I will forever be grateful for the entire experience and for my flawless new bridal set. Thank you all!

Rather than acknowledge or apologize for his behavior, he chose to challenge the feedback. During my visit, alcohol was present in the store and referenced as part of the customer experience. Combined with the way my concerns were handled, it contributed to an environment that felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. A high-end jeweler should be able to handle honest feedback with professionalism, not defensiveness or intimidation. Mark Auerbach still owes me an apology, and more importantly, future customers better treatment. I spent over $9,000 here and expected better. Customers should feel respected when raising concerns. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Some people say this is common for men, hehe....I digress. I investigated online for how feasible and financially palatable a feat of this magnitude might be. The results provided by Google were optimistic, as they usually are these days due to the AI backed search engine....they know what we want. Possibility, hope, reasonable customer service. Due to my location during my sleuthing; I was directed by my hopeful companion, Google, to the jewelry store in my immediate proximity. Four minute drive...hell yeah brother...I'm in the truck and on my way. Seemingly assured of my abilities (again) that the first option, despite negative reviews, was gonna be a sure-fire no casualties mission. But lo, there was collateral damage, there was a crushing of childlike joy, obliteration of ego...folks....I'm talking casualties. I entered the scene of the crime, sunglasses on, ridiculously large ring in hand, likely sweaty due to palpable anticipation. The scene....a jeweler....the crime....murdering newfound internet given expectations revolving the reworking of fashionable metal....the victim....an idiot....me. A woman greeted me, gruffly, I explained what had to be done as I set the ring upon the countertop. Retrieving it for a closer look, she said, "I can't do it." I, visibly crushed, asked whether she knew anyone in the area that might be able to handle the scope of work. Her reply......."No one......" Seeing that I would receive no assistance here (damn you Google), a quick-step heel turn maneuver was successfully accomplished, and I retreated out the door after a brisk, "Then I suppose we are done here." She mumbled something about her tool being too small and not being able to cut through the thick band, but I was already gone. Sunglasses still on face....pretty cool.... Returning back to my sanctuary I was reeling from this massive blow to my world. I took the initiative once again; of petitioning the big G for an answer. It gave me one, and like from the heavens, I heard the trumpets call.......and they tooted out in capital font.....GOLD RUSH JEWELERS.... Not wanting to potentially waste valuable fossil fuels I employ to power my steel steed, dubbed The Vessel. I elected to type an electronic letter to this magnificent empire that ruled the north bay with a golden fist. It was not a grand communication, and I had no envoy to send but the current of the interwebs to word of this quest. Almost immediately, a mysterious figure who identified himself as Rick, answered from the nether. He told me that this could indeed be possible, but that I must send him photos of it in order that he gather a more complete understanding of just how thick this silver band was. Once his eyes set upon them, he advised me that one of his stalwart metal magicians nearby must be consulted posthaste. Unfortunately, the hour was late, and the shadows had gone, replacing the world with darkness as opposed to light. Their Rohnert Park location was closed....it was 9 o'clock....completely reasonable. I showed up, precisely at the time that Sir Rick passed to me, in order to encounter his wizard before the mobs showed up to plead that his miracles be worked on their own accessories. A very kind woman named Kat assisted me, and upon having me try on several ring measurements, we found one that suited my fit best. She did warn me that it may be difficult and may not come out perfect. Then she floated into the back with my ring, after a brief conversation with an unknown voice, the Conjurer Steven emerged. The conversation was fruitful, Steven said he would attempt it and do his best. He said that there was a possibility the transformation would destroy the ring. I said it was no use to me in its present shape, and that I would sign whatever needed to release liability over them. They let me know that it could take close to a week before it was attempted, but that it could end up being tended to quicker. The undertaking was still plausible, and with happy faces, we all went about our day. I saddled up the truck again and gallivanted off to work. Difficult first few hours of the shift, but then my cellular telephone device shattered my concentration. An unknown number was calling, I let it go to voicemail, I like to screen my calls. Spam....but wait Steven left me a voicemail. The job was done and I was free to retrieve the ring at any time. The work day ended and I sped off into the north, not using the freeway due to the peasantry clogging vital arteries. I'm a backroads kind of dude, never see me coming. Too many words to post. Great experience though from all staff, Kat and Steven are amazing.

I was in there not long ago, about a week almost two, I needed some stretching band or some fabric…read morethat would stretch, I bought a fanny pack and it was too small so I was going to alter it. I'm a man, I get that there may not be many men that come into a sewing shop. I also don't care to dress like I'm rich or well off I dress like I did when I was homeless. Anyway, I went in there with my girlfriend, and the women working behind the counter had attitude and this unwarranted disrespect from the get go with me; they wouldn't even look at me or talk to me when I was the one going in there to buy something as a customer and I was the one speaking to them asking where I could find what I was looking for or if they had it. They only looked and talked to my girlfriend, and when I said I needed the material they said a yard minimum mandatory, I didn't need a yard but okay, I tried on multiple accounts in this short lived interaction to be polite and push their disrespect off to the side and be peaceful, but the disrespect continued no matter what the neglect of speaking to me or looking at me continued, and the sense of urgency to get us out of the store was strong, and at a high volume. I did ask "do you all have a problem with men or something?" Trying to see if any men have come in there causing trouble before was my only intent with that question; the woman got so beside herself, and told me I'm not a nice man and had asked why I'm asking that, and I pointed out how they wouldn't look or talk to me when I was the one asking to buy something. They did not care, they flipped the script and acted like I was the problem the whole time. I was so irked about this, because I'm tired of dealing with people that look at me and judge me and treat like s**t just because of how I'm dressed, it doesn't even matter how polite and well spoken I am, but in this instance it was all so unwarranted and unkind and unnecessary. I will be going back there, because I like to sew, and keep my clothes as long as I can because it is hard to find a direct fit. I hope my experience improves with them. The woman who had made the biggest of problems, had worn overalls that had been a tan rust color, with a lot of bumblebees everywhere on them. I was so ready to get what I paid for and get out that I didn't catch any names. That kind of behavior is what urges me to buy online, when really I just want to support local places and buy what I need, no one should have to deal with getting ignored judged and mistreated as a customer or a person just on how they LOOK. If you are working or volunteering, or have problems in your life, or even sh**ty customers, it doesn't give any right to be disrespectful or judgmental or dismissive or any kind of rude behavior towards anyone, especially if it was not warranted. Thank you...
