This was such a cute spot for friends and family. They have goats and sheep (you cannot pet them). They have a corn maze, pumpkin picking, vendors and food trucks. Lots of family fun going on here. You go inside the big barn which is so cute. They have so many different flavors of beers and slushie. I tried the pear cider. It was so strong and delicious. You can bring your dogs with you here as well. They have live music sometimes. It was really a great time. A slushie was $9, not too bad. It is a good time for fall fun. read more

Very much a destination brewery! It's about a 45 minute drive outside of Baltimore city. I was nearby at Kilgore Falls and stopped by for some food and beer. It was the perfect spot to end the evening. Plenty of parking and a very large property with patio seating, picnic tables, tap room seating, and food trucks. Check their Instagram for updated food truck schedule! I got one of the seltzers. It was a bit strange since it looked more like a sour. I liked the flavor but it just wasn't really what I was expecting from a seltzer and made me wonder if it was truly gluten free. We chilled at one of the picnic tables and watched the sunset. They also have some goats in the stables that are pretty funny. Great place for refreshments after Kilgore or to bring the whole fam! read more

Such a fun brewery! Good for the whole family as well! I came here during October and there were lots of fun activities. There's a playground for kids as well as face painting! I personally enjoyed going through their corn maze. There's lots of food trucks that travel there as well. So depending on what you're in the mood for, you should be covered! They also have a decent beer selection. I got their cranberry cider and it was delicious! Think that was the first time I've had that type of flavor from anywhere. The staff are great and helpful as well. Happy to recommend beers. If you come here on a football Sunday, there's TVs inside where you can watch the game! Tip: might want to bring a blanket, jacket or sweater if you come here on a cooler day because inside seating is limited! read more

Loved the ambiance of the brewery. The scenery was gorgeous & their layout was so beautifully designed with ample indoor/outdoor options...but unfortunately I really didn't like the beer, so it wouldn't be worth hanging out. First, despite checking their untapped list and website to see what types of beers they offered, when we arrived, they had an entirely different tap list- I can see one or two beers kicking between updates, but it was so vastly different. So, we ended up with just a flight of "whatever was up there" four beers instead of the exciting milkshakes and juicy ipas we were anticipating. The flight tasting tray was super inconvenient-little plastic cups on a plastic plate- I know places are trying to find COVID friendly solutions to pouring safely, but the plate wasn't a great idea-and it also didn't feel like the cups were a full 5oz pour- As for quality: all four beers tasted like generic pale ales- there was no distinguishing flavor between the citra ipas, the double ipa, or the actual pale ale- the lack of flavor made me really honestly regret $12 for a four tiny plastic cups of beer. Side note: Lots of parking on site-down a hill around the back, food trucks on site, and byof friendly. We tried it, but won't be back...maybe it was our taste buds, but swing and a miss. read more

Cool spot! There's a corn maze, huge pumpkin picking lot, three food trucks, mini farmers market and of course beer. There was pumpkin painting and hay rides as well. Plenty of parking, beer was good. Though I'd recommend bringing some chairs if you come bc seating could be an issue. The falling pumpkin beer was bomb! Spicy and delicious! Would definitely return. Happened to be right around the corner today and stumbled on this place out of pure luck. Very happy I did as this is a destination brewery that goes unadvertised in my neck of the woods (southern NJ). Lots of room to wander here and plenty of indoor and outdoor places to sit and make your own. The beer was excellent and I was able to try the brand new to the food truck Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich that was top notch. I've been going here for years now. The first FBB beer I had was the Amber Waves. Since then, I've had plenty of other delicious beers on tap here. But to this day, it's my favorite. I usually stay clear of Belgian style amber ales. But AW is a knockout. It's smooth and drinkable not at all caramely or too heavy bodied despite it being a Belgian dark string ale. Being here is an experience. Words can't fully capture how I feel about the rural scenic drive to here and the country views while sitting outside sipping on my brew. One can't help but fully appreciate the painstaking process that goes into making the beers being this close to the source. By the way there's usually a food truck or two on site if you're hankering for something to eat. FBB is worth the drive. So what are you waiting for? There's plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. read more

Love the 'Farm Brewery' as a concept, and I think these guys are doing it right. Barn is big and welcoming, staff is friendly and the beer is maturing nicely. Love the fact you can walk 20 yards and see some farm animals in there element. Great work, and we will me back. read more

Great Sunday chill excursion. Visited for PumpkinFest which runs Sept-Oct. Sipped on pumpkin beer, snacked on oven brick pizza, rode a hayride, and painted pumpkins. They also have a pumpkin patch, corn maze, face paint and a few local vendors selling goods. We sat in the taproom while we ate and watched the Ravens game. It was an hour drive from Owings Mills but a great scenic route. read more

This place is cute and fun, kinda in the middle of nowhere. The drinks are great, at the time they didn't have any sour beers available which are my favorite but the staff picked out some beers that they thought I would like. I can't remember which ones lol but they were good and I trust them to assist you too! We were inside for awhile, they had live music in their cute little barn. Then later we went outside to order food from the food truck. It was a bbq truck, they had good good food. Outside was a seating area with heaters so the windy weather didn't deter us. Love this place. Really pretty countryside. Lots of space to hang out and wander around. If you bring the kids, just let 'em run out in the fields :) The bar renovation is fantastic. The pizza from the food truck is pretty good - nothing to write home about, but perfectly fine to munch on while putting away a few pints. Most importantly, the beers are quite good. I wouldn't put them up there with the best breweries in Maryland, but everything I have tried has been very good. I also compliment them on their selection - in addition to having excellent hop-forward pale ales and IPAs, they have a number of fruited sours. Also, on weekends they have live music! We're lucky to have a number of really good farm-to-tap breweries in Maryland, and Falling Branch is among the best in that category. read more

Awesome brewery and location. The location is on a farm with excellent scenery and atmosphere. They have put a lot of work into this location and it is a great spot to hang out on a Saturday when they're open. They have put a lot of work into restoring the barn and making it a nice location. There's plenty of seating around the bar area and lawn games like corn hole to play with whomever you came with. The owners and people working here are very chill which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Since it's on a dairy farm they have a stand for ice cream and they also have pit beef fries and other food for sale. As for the beer its great. The brewer cares a lot about what he's producing and it shows. You really can't go wrong with whatever you chose from. If you live around here and want to drink great beers this is the spot. Since they're only open Saturdays you may want to bring your growler for the other days. read more

Nice venue; very bucolic and country and all. The most impressive aspect of this place is the barn. It's amazing, and lots of hand labor went into constructing it "back in the day". I respect the labor that went into it. The beers are ok; the "Belgian" aspect of the beers is a little overdone in my opinion. The Belgian Revival Stout was extremely coffee forward and quite thin bodied. It was ok. The Amber Waves actually had some Belgian yeast phenols, although it had identity crisis because it wasn't a blonde ale, wasn't a dubbel, etc. Whatever; it was tasty. Parking sucks, beer is ok; venue is a lot of fun. A lot of entrepreneurial work went into making this place work. Hats off to you! read more

Beautiful setting with tasty beers. If you're adults expecting to drink with adults, beware there are many MANY children, most unsupervised. Keep an eye out or you will get hit in the face with a football or soccer ball as they play. Very long line for beer. Fun place, just expect to exercise a lot of patience. read more

Overall a really great experience. Met a group of friends and enjoyed the beautiful countryside and farm. The seated area was nice with the added bonus of an umbrella. There's a playground for the kids. There were a number of food trucks but they did run out of food. Beer was ok and could use some refining. The bluegrass band was amazing--a real bonus for us. So there's farm brewing...and then there's this place. It's not trendy, pretentious or hipster. It's a farm in the middle of the country. Absolutely no frills. Upon first glance, it didn't seem like they had much in the way of parking, but they do have additional space in the back. It just looked more like a field than a lot. The food vendor (BBQ/wings, I believe?) was operating outside and made the best tasting mac 'n cheese bites either one of us had ever tasted. The breading was thin and crispy and the macaroni didn't lose any of the cheesiness in the frying process. They also offered a wide array of sauces. As you walk inside, you realize -- this is a barn (the fresh wood smell adds to the ambiance). No bathrooms, no additional amenities whatsoever, except for tables and the bar area. I was relieved to hear they took cards after taking a good look around this place. As for the beer, we did our typical "order a taster of every beer they offer" and made our assessments. I must say it's quite an accomplishment to find a brewery that my wife would willingly drink a full pour of any beer they make. Even their double IPA (which was her favorite) was so incredibly approachable. Their pumpkin saison (Falling Pumpkin) was my favorite and also my growler fill. The subtle pumpkin/spice notes were a welcomed change from the average pumpkin ale. This was everything I had hoped it would be. If you need to get away from the city for some peace and quiet, you can definitely find your zen in a pint of Falling Branch beer. read more

Loved the vibe of this place. In a barn type atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating and my favorite, bistro lights. I went on a Saturday afternoon (4th of July actually) and they had a food truck outside who would come in and deliver your food (great idea). There was also live music that really set the laid back, enjoy your day with good beer mood! I believe you can bring your own snacks and they had cheese (local) and other little snacks for purchase as well. I had the BlackBerry sour and it was delicious. Tried a flight of a number of other beers and really enjoyed them. I will be back. Heard Fall is really a hit with pumpkins and all the pumpkin flavored things! read more

I live one minute down the road, and it's very exciting to have something so close! I love that they bring in food trucks, and I've always enjoyed the Pumpkin Picking. If you go here, definitely try to go on a day when Brick n Fire pizza is there, and order the Carnie. As for the beer, I'd go for the Amber Waves Belgian beer. It's my favorite so far, and I believe they won an award for it (silver?) at a competition in Maryland. We went on a Saturday at 5 during the Pumpkin Festival, and it was PACKED. Parking can be a hassle- they should really have someone out there helping to direct people to open spots. If you come here, I'd definitely bring a blanket or your own chairs because there are a limited amount of chairs and tables on the patio. The beer is a tad expensive, $18 for three beers, but the views of the farm are great. Definitely will return, especially since it's within walking distance. So happy to finally have somewhere so close! read more

Stopped in to give this place a try. To start off the atmosphere is very cool. It's a 2 story old barn completely renovated with seating both upstairs and down. 2 bars with plenty of beer on tap (both theirs and a few other local breweries). Overall their beer was good and an added bonus was all the games and outdoor seating they had that overlooked the fields. Will be back for sure to try more beer as it seems they rotate through a lot of different brews. read more

We weren't cold because they have lots of propane heaters and seating. The barn inside was nice and they had live music. Staff couldn't be nicer. They were friendly and helpful! I went there today (October 17) with my son and there are two very disturbing things that I feel I need to share. My son and I were trying to pet the cows that were grazing in one of the fields. While I was kneeling down and holding my son back I was shocked by the single strand of electrified wire that they had run to keep the animals back. Even though it was only a small voltage, I find it very disturbing because if there was somebody there with a pacemaker or other medical condition it could have turned out very bad for them. I also feel that seeing as though there are a lot of SMALL CHILDREN around there should be some signs or something warning everybody of a live fence. I certainly understand how this could be a simple mistake as not turning off a power switch or something but if this can be overlooked, I wonder what other safety precautions are missed as well. The lack of parking direction and people to safely guide cars around pedestrians was also a big issue. This is a very big time of year and seeing as how everyone wants to get out and spend time outdoors, the owners should take safety more seriously!!!!! read more
