From start to finish, she had every square inch of our closet accounted for, there was no detail that went unnoticed. We love the experience that Jen shared with us, she was in our home three separate times, measuring, sitting down and designing the layout. We also went to the showroom twice, which was just ideal! Their showcases were set up beautifully and very simple to see all the different options in cabinetry, accessories and details. Jen made wonderful suggestions that we never even thought of that made our closet even more incredible! My California Closet is my new favorite room in the house! I would highly recommend California Closets, California Closets, East-Erie Blvd., and Jen Calkins, our designer.

We purchased an 1800's Colonial style house which we planned to refresh and re-launch as a bed and…read morebreakfast in Herkimer, New York. Living out of state, I knew this would be no easy task for me to accomplish. It would take a talented and patient person to coordinate and manage the design process in my absence, especially having never met me. I accompanied Tina on her initial walk through of the house via video conference. It was a relief to know she shared my enthusiasm for the project and had the vision to implement my long wish list of design changes. My primary objective was to undo the previous owner's Victorian touches and return the interior to a classic Colonial style. Tina delivered on every front. While her design work speaks for itself, she also handled purchasing and receiving, and managed the financial aspect of the purchases she made. She was mindful of spending and sought ways to reduce costs. She was always available via phone and e-mail, and did a great job keeping me updated on her progress. Not only did she complete the redesign on time, but even after completion, she contributed many hours of her personal time to ensure our interior photography was a success. When I was finally able to meet Tina in person, I joked about how it felt like I had known her my whole life. That's a true testament to her personality. Our family and friends who walked through the house before and after Tina's work all expressed the same awe at the spectacular job she did. Tina's designs positively impact all our guests- from a restful night's sleep on thoughtfully chosen bed linens to memorable wedding photos taken against the back drop of our grand interior. We replaced nearly every window in the house after the initial design work was done. Tina came through for us again and was there at the exact moment we needed her. Her work in taking down and resetting all our window coverings allowed us to complete the project on time and ensured our guests weren't affected. We're extremely grateful! Tina has added so much value to our home and business, and we highly recommend Tina Marie Interiors to anyone in need of interior design services. We also welcome anyone who wishes to experience Tina's work to visit us at Grand Colonial Bed and Breakfast, 112 West German Street, Herkimer, NY, or our check out our website at https://grand-colonial.com. However when I went to purchase it , I was told it was priced incorrectly ( by 10.00 ). I was also purchasing several items which would of made my total bill over a hundred dollars. I explained that I felt since it was ticketed that price , he should honor it. ... well he just got even nastier and said he was going to refund me everything. I just can't believe his business sense or should I say lack of. Besides he doesn't sell authentic Cortland apparel for the prices he wants to charge. Do yourself a favor and go to the school store.
