Google his name in Vernon. I tried to give him a chance. He has a history of fraud and theft. He even borrowed my tools and vacuum. I did everything I could to get him to work. The worst, most stressful home improvement experience I have ever had. Not professional. His contract was a hand written note. Do not hire him, if you do do not pay him anything up front. I will run out of room, can't say enough bad things.

His story line is "I am a Christian, as honest as the day is long, and I want to earn your future business with high quality work". He took 8 weeks to do a job he said would be completed in a week. He said we needed "17 to 20 squares of siding" and never told us if he estimated wrong he could not bring back the rest of it. He charged us $700 a square for the siding, ordered 17 squares, only received 15 squares and only used 12 squares. We were stuck with $2,100 of siding we can't use. Again: he never said he could not return the extra if he measured wrong; and using 12 of 17 means he was off by 30%. He used subcontractors, some of them first-time subcontractors. His son would foreman the work, and always came late and went home early. The excuses for the delays were almost endless; often involving some relative that died or was sick and that he had to leave state. At the end he told one of his employees "the work looks good so I am going to try to squeeze them for more money after the job is done". He told us "I would like some extra money at the end beyond our signed contract because I feel my son did a better than expected job". We only paid him the agreed to amount even though he never sided one portion of the house that was requested; and at the end we had an employee call us asking for some money because he said "Mike never paid me my money". I recommend you use anyone but this company. The owner will act like he knows what he's doing; but in reality he seems like he is new to this. We constantly had to walk around the house and point out the things they got wrong. You end up being the foreman even though you are paying him to be that.
