When you walk in, the shop takes you back to a fantasy store I wish I had as a kid. They have so many of the shirts from the 90's, toys, excellent quality jackets and other vintage stuff. They even have a working floor piano! If vintage swag or old school street wear is your thing, I think this store will have something you'd like. The service was excellent and the owner was excited about his goods and that made the experience even better. I'm always a fan of clothing stores that have a passion for fashion and by the owners style, I'm sure he'll get you right.

Soothing jazz was playing, the antique rugs made everything feel welcoming. There are several rooms full of used books in various categories. Everything was labeled and easy to navigate. They also have tables of used records and shelves of movies. This is the kind of analog, community-based place that so needs to exist in today's world. I hope it's always here in Syracuse.

There's always a wide variety of clothing and all is in good shape. I have found a good number of pieces I like at this store, from a whimsical Halloween sweater to staple dresses. Thrifty Shopper is one of the few thrift shops where they actually organize their books too. Being able to spot cookbooks vs fiction vs children's books at a glance is really great. It encourages me to genuinely sit and browse them to see if they have books I am seeking. Moreover, they had some very interesting Oriental art on their walls. The people I dealt with here were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. They even offered to carry the box of books I bought out to my car for me. It is great having a place like this open in Elbridge. Anyone interested in vintage items, or a collector of odds and ends, will have an outstanding time in this little curiosity shop.
