Soothing jazz was playing, the antique rugs made everything feel welcoming. There are several rooms full of used books in various categories. Everything was labeled and easy to navigate. They also have tables of used records and shelves of movies. This is the kind of analog, community-based place that so needs to exist in today's world. I hope it's always here in Syracuse.

I got the Peep Mallow Latte (so good!). I love Peeps, so the moment I saw it on the board, I ditched my lemonade plans without hesitation. The store also had quirky bookmarks, a few signed copies of books (always a cool touch), and a discount section full of hidden gems. At the checkout counter they have a bunch of bookmarks and stickers available. The mid-back room is all non-fic, and had two chairs if you're the type who wants to sit with your wares for a moment. They back room is used clothing and antique fabrics, and DOES have a fitting room! There's a room for kids and teens too. I recommend you have good knees going in as there are books in every possible nook, high and low, including under tables. There's a read for every flavor and a recommendation for every reader. I love everything about this shop and probably place 2-3 orders a year. Delivery is quick. Every order is always full and correct. I like how new products get added every few months. This is one of the few product catalogues that comes in the mail that I actually read cover to cover. I'd say 30% of my bumper sticker collection comes from Syracuse Cultural Workers!
