I don't know why this location doesn't have a higher rating. I have viewed most of the past reviews but I guess it's different for some people and the experience for their service. I can honestly say that "Gary" and "Noah" are some honest people that care more about the people than just the service that is given. Wife just took daughters eco sport in for a service and the same thing happened that happened before. Tried to charge us for a rotation that wasn't done. It has one odd tire so you can tell pretty quickly if it's been done or not. I just hope they changed the oil. Will be going else where for services on the next one. I had a great experience buying a used and certified F-150 from here. It was the most straightforward process I've had with a dealership. To start, the ad was detailed with good pictures that didn't try to hide anything. When I contacted them for more information, the salesperson (Denton) quickly got back to me with a signed pricing sheet without any out-of-left-field markups. I got a fair and upper end appraisal of my trade in. When I showed up, the vehicle was as advertised, and Denton had all the paperwork ready for me. There wasn't any pressure in Finance to tack things on. Denton was beyond kind and helpful, and the manager (Mr. Nash) was much the same. I was in and out in about an hour with a smile on my face. One of the more mediocre Ford Quick Lane experiences I've had. Gary was very nice. Very personable. I don't appreciate the list of dumb fees added onto the "The Works" This is the only Ford Quick Lane I've visited that adds these fees onto the standard $39.98 price. I'd rather you try to sell me on extra BS services than add a bunch of fees. Even the way Gary presented the two separate sheets made it seem like he was attempting to hide the fees. Below is a photo of the "invoice" and the "BS fees" sheets. Everything was done quickly and effectively, but stop the garbage fees. They're dumb and make customers lose trust in the service department. I won't be back. I don't have time for hidden fees and nickel and diming. Also, get rid of the stupid "Upgrade Program" signs. You aren't fooling anyone. It's the latest excuse for you to sell vehicles to people you think aren't "focusing on price" and are "haven't done their research". Everybody does research and everybody is focused on price. The rebranding of salespeople to "Upgrade Expert" isn't fooling anyone either. Try living in 2018 and not 2003. I watched two salespeople walk through service during my visit. This is disturbing. I'm not here to speak with salespeople. They have no place in the service waiting room. Please keep them away from service customers. The reason for three stars is because the service provided was speedy and done properly. So bravo to the Quick Lane techs. I am not impressed overall with Fairway Ford. The ONLY reason we even came back was our initial meeting with James was great. The other manager who first met us, was very pushy. We came back a few days later to make our deal on the truck we wanted. Overall we were pleased with salesman James, Not the rest of the team however. Then we were asked to preform an online survey from their site. Of course we would, however we received a note from fairway and evidently someone did the review for us! We would never have given that rating. Therefore, I am horribly disappointed with Fairway and will no doubt take our new truck to Gerald Jones for all repairs. Disappointed! read more

After buying a brand new Focus last year, it was time for an oil change and tire rotation. I called the service department about three times and left a few voicemails without a response. I finally decided to stop in to see if I could get helped in person. I walked into the "Quicklane" service area and waited around 10 minutes without seeing an employee, so I went and looked for someone to help me. After finding a random person, they sent an employee in to answer my question. When I asked how soon I could get in for an oil change/tire rotation, he literally rolled his eyes at me, sighed and said "Probably Monday." I wasn't even rude or irritated , just surprised at that answer. Honestly, I can't believe they are running their service department in such an unprofessional manner. I was amazed at how terrible the service was here, by the "Internet Manager" Sean Agner. First the guy couldn't even give a price on a vehicle, he had to "have it checked" which apparently takes 20 minutes and only happens AFTER you give them all your info for a trade-in (over 30 mins total, just to get a price on a car!). After this pain, and extremely low-ball trade-in offer, the guy tries pressuring me into signing a piece of paper saying I would buy the car if they could get my trade-in to a certain price.. I refused, saying we had not yet figured out monthly payments, so I was not comfortable signing anything. After this he got real smug with me and tried placing pressure on me to pick a price I want to pay each month. I would highly recommend going to the other dealer down in Waynesboro. Although I did not purchase there, as they were my stop prior to Fairway; they were a lot more friendly, helpful and there was really no pressure to buy or sign anything. I can promise you I would be happy to pay much more to NOT shop at Fairway, but luckily I don't have to worry about that since they overprice their vehicles and undervalue trade-ins! read more

While they may understand their long wait times, they fail to communicate such info to the customer which impacts decisions on when and how to arrange service. I normally don't write reviews, but I had to make an exception here. This is an email I sent to Lisa Woodword (service manager) after receiving a "Let us know how we did" email. I received no response. I received a survey, but the link didn't work. I brought my F350 to you in March when I purchased four rear tires and had the wheels aligned. We left the next morning for Texas towing our 5th wheel camper. The steering pulled to the left, but I was not willing to turn around and return. While in Texas, I had to have the rear wheel bearings and brakes replaced. I started to have the wheels aligned there, but you guys usually do a good job, so I decided to wait. I made an appointment and dropped the truck off Monday morning when you opened. When I made the appointment, and when I dropped it off, I stated I needed to pick someone up at the airport, so I needed it no later than 1:30. I received a call about 11:00 stating that they would not be able to complete it by 1:30 because the tires were worn and had to be rotated. I wasn't exited about that since we live out by the lake and it's a 60 mile round trip. I made another appointment for Wednesday, and dropped it off again about 7:20. They ran me to my office (I normally don't work in the office). They finished the truck and I was told a 4:00 that Jeff was out picking up some parts, but would be right over to pick me up. I waited about 30 minutes and walked down to the front door. About an hour later, I called to check, letting them know I had a retirement dinner at 6:30 and asked if I should call a cab or do something else.. They assured me he would be there shortly. I called a couple more times, and he showed up at 6:20. We got to your dealership at 6:40 and I got to the retirement dinner at 7:00. The truck seems to track straight, but the next morning a noticed a bad groove on the side of the wheel. I assume that was from the alignment equipment. read more

Fairway Ford has a stable of dishonest, and devious used car salesmen out for a quick cash grab. Moved from Europe back to the U.S.A., looked at over 30 vehicles over 10 days, but settled on a F-150 from Fairway. However, after I bought the vehicle I peeled back the Fairway Ford oil change sticker on the windshield, and of course hidden under it was a chip in the windshield. Also in the middle of the heat I opened the back window and the weather stripping fell off; after further review it was ramshackle glued back on and backwards. Jeez! Yes, I got the truck I always wanted which drives well enough, but that unfortunately says more about the good previous owner than my dealership of choice. These windows and seal are going to cost over $1000 to fix (F-150 back mid-window seals can't be bought separate from the whole glass). On top of this the sales manager told me that the gas door that was loose on the vehicle (caught this right before signing) couldn't be fixed within the budget to sell the vehicle ($15,000). He said that was one of the more expensive parts on the car to fix because it would have to be sanded and painted after replacement. Update: I fixed this myself in about 45 minutes using only an 8mm socket wrench! I thought they were so nice but now I see they really just wanted my cash at any cost. Fairway Ford showed me why the used car salesman/dealership in America carries such a negative stigma. Honesty is the best way to build loyalty, it would be nice if the management there had at least a shred of it. read more

I am stunned at how great the service here was on my new Ford Fusion purchase. I walked in after a terrible experience at another local Ford dealer, told them what I wanted, and the work began. I am literally never happy after buying a new car because I have the "stealership" mentality when it comes to car dealers. This was not the case, for the first time, when I purchased my car. I left feeling happy and like I had gotten the deal I wanted. I highly recommend asking for Dominique. Not only did that guy bust his tail to make the sale, when I went back for my detail at the end of the a long work day, he kept the promise of getting it cleaned (after the detailing department had closed) buy doing all the work himself! He drove my car around clearly having worked on it a lot and still smiling. I can't speak for every single one of the salemen, but of those I met each one seemed to be a high quality professional. This service department is extremely unorganized, I called yesterday to make an appointment to bring my vehicle in for an extensive list of services. The gentleman I spoke with said I can bring it in anytime in the morning, when I showed up I was ignored for about 10 minutes and when a service advisor asked me how he can help, I mentioned I had an appoint, he couldn't find the appointment. He asked who I spoke to for appointment, the advisor I spoke with didn't tell me his name. He eventually sent me to the oil change dept. I guess that's who I spoke with the previous day. I told him what I needed done and he said I would need to go back and speak with the other advisors. Very unorganized, they just lost a customer. I purchase vehicles every few years and I will never give them my business again. Don't waste your time going here. I should have learned my lesson last time I tried bringing in my vehicle when I was treated in a similar fashion a few years ago. They are closer to me than Gerald Jones, so I wanted to bring it here because of proximity to my work. read more

I was warned by several people before going to this dealership, but since it was the closest to my house, I gave them a chance. I went in to buy a new F150. I have purchased several vehicles over the years, and am not new to the car buying process. However, the sales manager was rude, arrogant, and condescending to me as soon as he walked over to tell me why his offer was the best I would get, period. After a bit of this, I was done. Worst buying experience EVER. I walked out and went to Gerald Jones Ford, got a much better deal and didn't have to put up with a rude sales manager. In fact the Gerald Jones staff knew exactly who was rude when I mentioned the incident even though I didn't say a name or job title, which tells me other customers have experienced the same thing. Very funny how an experience can begin so well and end so horribly. Long story short, I left one local dealership and ended up at Fairway. They had the car I wanted, the internet sales staff was "spot on" and very personable (thanks to Patrick and Jill), but weeks later and nearly two payments into my new car payments...I am practically begging their staff to terminate my old lease. This has resulted in my account reflecting a "past due" balance, me calling Fordcredit.com numerous times, and me calling the dealership to work this out...as a consumer. Funny that when we owe others money (as consumers), they have no issue reaching out to us for payment but when consumers need things...oh how they drag?!?! This brings me to the point where I was only charged half of my down payment and called later to collect the additional funds (honest mistake on their end but funny how fast it was resolved...because I owed them money...even though they overlooked it on the night of the deal) I've presented this issue to four of their staff members and the best part is that when I attempted to reach the General Manager, his email address was invalid and did not work. Great job destroying my positive outlook...this transaction started so pleasantly. read more

If there were a way to give this dealership a negative review I would gladly do it. I took my Ford Escape in for a Ford Recall on the coolant system and a regular routine oil change. I left the car on a Wednesday night so it would be ready and waiting for them Thursday morning. I had also called and pre-scheduled the appt for Thursday. Late Thursday I received a call that the recall repair was taking longer than expected. I received a call Friday that the car needed a new battery and front and back brakes and I declined the service. Also on Friday I received a call that the car was ready to be picked up and it was making an knocking noise. It DID NOT have a knocking noise when I left it. When I go to pick the car up Saturday they tell me it is not ready and they got it confused with a Ford Edge. What?? Once again, I said okay and I would be back later to pick the car up. I was told the car was making a knocking noise. I once again explained it was NOT making a knocking noise when I brought it in and to please have my car ready by end of business day. I picked my car up on Saturday and guess what. It NOW has a knocking noise. It NOW needs a complete NEW ENGINE! I only took it in for a routine oil change and recall. Yet, NO ONE at Fairway Ford will own up to their responsibilities to the damages done to my now RUINED car? DO NOT EVER USE THIS DEARLERSHIP! read more

After having my car for a month I was a little disappointed with how it was shifting and the service manager Kirk, was extremely helpful and new exactly what needed to be done. Low now for me I wouldnt let these idoits change the oil in car in the junk yard . I want to share some experience about my 2013 Lincoln MKZ hybrid. 1. The latch of the front passenger door of my 2013 Lincoln MKZ was broken recently. I left the car in Fairway Ford Evans, GA on the same day. It took one week to replace the latch, way too long. Plus, I was not given in-time updates in this process. 2. As a matter of fact, the four door latches were replaced in a Lincoln recall about 2 years ago. The replacement was done by Fairway Ford Evans, GA too. Why does the new latch fail so soon? Is it because poor quality of the part or an incompetent technician? Or both? 3. This reminds me of the previous repair of leaking electricity for the same car by Fairway Ford Evans, GA. It took about 4 weeks, simply because the technicians could not find the cause of the problem. Finally, the Lincoln headquarter had to send an engineer to Fairway Ford Evans, GA. He figured out that the alarm electronic board went wrong, not a very complicated problem. I sincerely wish that Fairway Ford Evans, GA improve both the quality of service and customer relation. Also, Lincoln manufacturer should do a better job in the first place. read more

I took my 2016 ford Focus RS to Fairway ford for a factory recall for a new head gasket. The appointment was scheduled 2 weeks later to give them time to order the gasket. It took 3more weeks after I dropped it off to get the Gasket. The engine was disassembled and reassembled with the new gasket a few days later. When they started the engine there was a loud pop and the engine died and would not start. Turns out the cam phase bolts were loose allowing the pistons to hit the valves destroying the engine. Is anyone surprised they do not want to replace the engine? Ford customer service suggested I hire an attorney to resolve the issue with the dealership, Seriously? Never buy a Ford, never buy from them , never take you car to them for service! read more

I recently had service on my 2010 Ford Fusion done at Fairway Ford in Evans, GA and had an excellent experience. Mickey Weathers was my service adviser and he answered all of my questions and, I believe, offered me a fair deal and sound advice on services that I needed. Surprisingly he even steered me away from services that I did not need that he could have at least attempted to talk me into. Good experience and good service. I responded to a vehicle found on autotrader.com. It was a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro priced at $24,858. I got a response from Sean Agner, the internet director for Fairway Ford. We spoke via telephone, email, and text message for two days. I advised him that I would like to secure the vehicle and that I would travel from SC on Saturday, August 31, 2013, to purchase the vehicle. He emailed me a preliminary "Purchase Agreement" which had an Admin Fee of $599.00 on it. I advised him that it is illegal to charge fees aside from governmental fees such as tags, taxes, and title in the state of Georgia per the Fair Businesses Act. I advised him that I would like to purchase the vehicle and agree to all other monies, not including the Admin Fee. He advised me that they would not remove the Admin Fee. I said fine, I would pay it, but I would file a complaint and get the money back later. He stated that if I didn't feel comfortable with the Admin Fee then he did not feel comfortable selling me the car. I told him I would pay the fee that I want the car and offered $500 yet again to secure the car. I told him that I would be financing through my bank, but would like for him to see if they may be able to get me a better rate for a longer term. He advised me that they would not be able to do better and I advised him that that was fine; I would just go through my bank. Then, again, I requested for him to take payment to secure the car. After trying to contact him to let him know that my financing was set up and ready, he sent me a text stating that the car had been sold. I contacted the General Sales Manager to advise him of this "wrong-doing". He stated that the reason there was a delay in securing the vehicle was because of the Admin Fee and he was afraid they may have to go to court over it with me. He stated that the car had been sold and that it is not illegal for them to charge Admin Fees and that all the dealerships do it and there is nothing wrong with it. read more

I've used there service lane twice now. The first time was to have my doors fixed and the second was to have my window shade fixed. Neither job was covered by my extended warranty. The work done on the first job seems fine, although I don't know how a warranty doesn't cover to fix a door lock that comes apart when you put you key in and turn it. The second job left me feeling really f'd over. I asked for a mechanic to take aaa quick look at it, and he said it was all jacked up, almost a direct quote. I wanted to see if my warranty would cover it but for some reason they couldn't tell me until after I brought it in for a $80+ exploratory fee. Basically, bring it in so we can charge to tell you it is broken and then tell me my warranty doesn't cover the $612 window shade. Then they asked me if I wanted the work done. Of course I'm not going to pay that amount plus labor. So I walked away with a broken window shade that I already knew was broken, minus $80+. Shame on them. Then they couldn't really explain what the warranty covered. Someone in the background during the phone conversation was pulling something out of his rear saying it covered mechanical stuff. But not manual door locks or window shade components. What's the saying about fool me once.... read more
