Signing up on the internet for an appointment was convenient but, had some issues and ended up calling in for an appointment. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I scheduled the appointment and filled out all of the paperwork required. The day of the appointment, I show up early. Staff was friendly but, I didn't have an appointment. Strangely enough they had all of my paperwork printed out and was able to find it easily but, said I was not in the system. In fairness they did offer to get me in later the same day but, I had already taken off work for the appointment time that I had. I can't take more time off of work. This has put me out. I declined the appointment for later, because if a medical office can't keep their records straight, I have no interest in being a patient there. I've experienced medical offices before that don't manage their paperwork well and it was a nightmare. NO THANKS She also mentioned that they had called and left a voicemail. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and have always been extremely pleased with the service. The doctors are excellent - even when my daughter had an emergency eye issue when she was seven - and just for regular eye exams. They were patient with my son who couldn't get contacts in. I have never had any issue here and highly recommend. I think negative reviews were from several years ago. I was in twice for me and my daughter in the past month and both times it was an excellent experience. read more

I had a very positive experience with Fairway, despite setbacks in getting a new prescription and new frames to work together to provide good vision reading, at a computer and at longer distances. Fairway conducted three exams and had the lenses remade twice after the initial pair. Optician John Prado was extremely patient and expressed no skepticism about my perception that the new glasses weren't working as they should. He was pleasant through the process, as was receptionist Lisa Stubbs, the doctors and their optical assistant. We cooperated and eventually solved the problem. I'm very pleased with my glasses and use them for reading, at the computer and for driving. Highly recommended! read more

I have been a long term customer at the Liberty location. I have always gotten my prescription filled by Fairway spending thousands of dollars over the years. Due to my recent retirement, I did not have eye insurance so opted to get my prescription filled at Costco. When I got the prescription, I was having difficulty seeing out of the right lens. I called Fairway who said I needed to have Costco verify the prescription was done correctly before they would look at my prescription. I went back to Costco who confirmed the prescription in the glasses matched the script. I brought the glasses to Fairway who checked the glasses and said they were done incorrectly and did not match the script. They refused to recheck my prescription until Costco made me a new pair of glasses. I took the glasses back to Costco where 2 more people checked them again. All confirmed the glasses matched the prescription I brought in from Fairway. I called Fairway from Costco to inform them the glasses were correct and my prescription must be wrong. Shelly intercepted my call to the eye technician. Shelly informed me she was the manager and was aware of my problem. She was very rude and condescending. Rather than offer to have a dr recheck my prescription, Shelly said she would refund me $60 and I could go somewhere else to get a prescription. I was flabbergasted that my business was so easily discarded after all these years. Since then I have spoken to several people who have experienced the same rudeness at Fairway Eye Center. One person I spoke to even used to work at the Liberty location and said they are all rude there and accordingly there is a lot of turnover. I'm appalled that the owner, Dr Mark Bundy, would condone this type of behavior from his staff. And if he's not been aware of it, he is now so do something about it! Shelly's rudeness and behavior towards people makes President Trump look like a saint! I do NOT recommend this company! Take your business where it is appreciated! Beware their "recommended" services! Went there 2 years ago as part of a regular checkup, turns out they recommend I need glasses. Granted turning 40 was hard enough but this. Get the glasses and barely notice a difference, begin wondering if this was something I really needed. Year later, I decide that I want to move on from glasses and get contacts. Pay for the contact lens exam and a couple of other exams that were "recommended". That should have been my first clue to stay away. Sure enough, the "recommended" services were not covered by my insurance provider and was never disclosed to me. Just appears as a means to get the up sale. Pretty shady business practices, no wonder insurance rates keep going up. Would be nice if they showed some integrity but it's easier to turn it around back on the customer. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was a brand new client, and I had scheduled my appointment over a month ago, knowing that I would only be able to schedule an appointment for a Monday afternoon. I received a phone call only 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to confirm my appointment for the following day. I explained to the receptionist that my appointment was to be for that Monday afternoon at 5pm, and that I was actually on my way to their office. Only then was I notified that they didn't have a doctor on staff, and that my appointment was moved to November 6th (which is a Sunday and they aren't open). When I proceeded to inform her that was a Sunday afternoon, she got all confused as to how this could happen, blamed the computer, etc. This is completely unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. I had already scheduled time off work, and was never informed previous to this call about my appointment. I cancelled this and any future appointments, and will find another place that treats their clients with more respect than this. My time is just as valuable as theirs, especially when time off work isn't easy to make happen. read more

My daughter and I were seen last week at the Liberty location. The front desk needs to be more observant of patients coming through the door, as we had to wait even though I was basically in front of her the whole time. I finally had to say something. She did apologize saying she did not see us come in so I would suggest a door bell to alert staff that someone is coming in. Once we were checked in everything changed from I thought was going to be grim customer service to excellent service. The doctor was though and very attentive. My Daughter and I both ordered glasses on Friday and got a call that next Tuesday that our order was in, as they have their own lab. Loved the quality of glasses they carry and very reasonable in price. I will be a long time customer of theirs if business stays this way and would recommend the Liberty location to my Friends and Family. read more

I am a new customer to Fairway Eye Center, fairway was recommended to me by a good friend. I am writing this review because it has been my experience that good customer service is hard to come by these days, and Great customer service is nearly unheard of. Consequently, when I have as wonderful an experience as I had here I want to share! I am due to get a new pair of glasses soon and just stopped in to ask some questions, I was so pleasantly surprised at my encounter with the sales staff!! The nice woman answered all of my questions and shared information I had not considered which I found to be quite helpful. Overall, what impressed me the most is that I actually felt as though she cared about my needs and wanted to help! She took extra time with me and made me feel as though I had brightened her day by stopping in. Way to go Fairway, keep up the amazing work!! read more
