The doctor and assistant provided excellent care. Dr. T. is a great optometrist and I highly recommend him. However, I found the front desk staff to be generally unprofessional and at times discourteous, with the exception of one individual who was helpful and friendly. Specifically, Avery's behavior was unacceptable and did not meet professional standards. I hold my eye doctor in high regard but am contemplating changing providers due to my experiences with the front desk staff. read more

Kinda upset at these people. My family has been going there for years. Dropped off a pair of glasses for minor repair and was quoted $30. On pickup was told "Sorry, it's $35." A different nearby optometrist was $25, but I went with the company I had trust in... Oh well. read more

The doctor is very nice and professional however the receptionist that set up my appointment was not nice at all, very rude and made me feel like I was putting her out! I don't understand why she is working there if she clearly does not like her job! She was not professional at all, and did not make me feel any less anxious about making the appointment. When one is paying top dollar for the eye exam and the glasses, one expects people to be very friendly and helpful. Expensive, slow, and very catty. For half the price one can go to another place and receive better service. read more

Dr. Tischinski was great but the staff leave much to be desired. I started my visit by walking into the main entrance and attempted to check-in with the two ladies sitting at the front desk, I was told in a very condescending tone that check-in was down the hallway (not like there was a sign or anything pointing me in that direction). Then the assistant who was supposed to teach me how to put in contacts and take them out was quite snarky and only showed me one time, she clearly had more important things to do. The checkout process went about the same. Again, the actual doctor was great but due to the staff I will not return. read more

I have been seeing him for years and followed him to this location because he is the best and really cared about all of us. There is no one more interested in his patients eye health. My experience in this office has been terrible. 15 minutes past appt time while staff strolled in from lunch, called for test results the next day which had printed while I was sitting there, Dr and Staff had all left early for the day and the office was open til 5. Only the receptionist was left to take calls. Four days later, no call from office or Dr, called again, still no results, Dr is now out of town all while I've got a blurry eye and no test results and no treatment. I have been wearing contacts and glasses for almost 20 years and have been to an eye doctor every year since and this one is the absolute worst I have ever been to!!! They immediately bring out clip boards with stuff they want you to pay extra for when testing the health of my eyes always came with my other exams. They then collected $100 from me for a contact lens exam and then gave me a fake script that every time I try to use I'm told its not valid. They pretty much stole my money and seem to make a business off scamming people into paying for things every other clinic I have been to did with my exam at no extra cost. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

I had a great experience here. My children and I, will be back paid slightly more than the last place I went but the experience was far better and the quailty of the frame, along with the selection was WELL worth the added few dollars. read more

I saw Dr.Tischinski and it was very disappointing. I saw him for a eye exam and contact fitting, he never discussed pricing with me and when he gave me trial lenses, he made me go back 3 times before he would release my prescription to me. Also, I told him I was going to get my contacts online because they were cheaper and he asked "what website? " and actually had the nerve to look them up online while we were in the exam room and then told me "well,good luck finding them cheaper anywhere else". I was able to find them cheaper online, significantly cheaper in fact. Not only was the doctor disappointing but the office staff is rude, I called for clarification on my bill and the woman was very dismissive and using a tone with me like I was an idiot,and when I told her that " I was just calling for clarification and you are being very rude" she apologized and said that she did not mean to be rude but just didn't understand what I was asking. read more

I have no idea how the doctor is but I can tell you a little bit about the other part where you pick out your glasses. I was referred there since it was close to our eye doctor for my 2.5 year old and they had the specific glasses our doctor recommended. I start talking to the lady who right off the bat wasn't very pleasant, she asks for my child's insurance card which we didn't have (they were in the mail) but I did have her ID number and name of insurance with a print screen from online (her eye doctor didn't have a problem verifying our vision benefits). They wanted my husbands social who was at work So I told them we can pick out the glasses and I would call them later with the information since the glasses had to be ordered anyway. We do get fit and again the lady just isn't pleasant and isn't very helpful fitting a 2.5 year old with glasses and I'm new to this as well. We went over the frame took me 5 minutes to pick out the pair and we were on our way. I call about 20 minutes later and provide my husbands social (policy holder). I wait till about 4:30 to follow up and see if they were able to verify benefits, I was told they couldn't reach anyone at our insurance and was busy so they would try back. Again, I wait all day for some communication when my toddler needs these glasses asap so I decide to call them about 4 I was told they had my number wrong (it was on the prescription and it was right) and they still couldn't get ahold of insurance. We called our insurance and they were called within 5 minutes and let them know that vision was covered at 100%. I call them back and now they tell me they need a copy of insurance and a photo ID before they can place our order. I was just there yesterday and wasn't asked for a photo ID and they were just on the phone with our insurance and could of asked for them to fax a copy knowing we didn't have our insurance card yet! I asked why they didn't do that and didn't get a very polite response and was basically told I could fill my prescription elsewhere again for my 2.5 year old.. would never recommend this place to ANYONE. read more
