Great experience getting a Christmas tree here, even on the fairly busy weekend. They've got their process locked down - directing you to a parking space, picking a tree, then ticketing it, paying and getting in line to get it tied down. They had some beautiful trees - ours ended up being $100 for around 7.5 ft, which seemed reasonable. We stopped by the concessions to grab a quick bite. The mini donuts were warm and flavorful, as was the hot chocolate. The hot dogs were boiled, which was fine. We sat near the fire pit to keep warm. For 3 people it cost $40. Then we popped by the hay ride with Santa. Santa was so warm and friendly to our little one, and the ride was fun, with Christmas music playing and a bunch of pretty neat holiday themed dioramas around the property. It was a blast! After that, we hopped back in the car, and drove up to get the tree tied down. It was a super quick and easy process, and we were done in 5 mins. Great spot, will definitely be coming back annually. read more

Wonderful staff and great outing for the family. We went for the Santa hayride. It was beautiful. I liked that they had fire pits to warm up and food and drinks. From entrance to exit we had a wonderful experience, especially with the staff!! Santa was great, the elves and our driver for the hayride all deserve shout outs. At one point, we had to stop the ride bc a tractor ahead of us had a flat tire and there was also a coyote spotted. He communicated and didn't ensue panic. He got us back up and running in no time! read more

This place has seasonal events. They have a haunted hayride with four different haunted trails. This time I was there for their Christmas hayride! The hayride was 45 minutes long I believe there was a lot of different Christmas scenes as well as the Grinch! And these reindeer hanging out of a building that sang a Christmas song in acapella when you drove by. At the end of the hayride or I guess before you can get hot chocolate, or many donuts along with a few other things that they're concession stand there's a cute little shop and you can visit with the Grinch or Santa or some reindeer or I believe they also had the frozen characters and take photos I was so much fun! read more

extremely horrible experience... not one happy person working there tonight. we spent $30 a person on night of lights experience that was way over sold and did not on time to start. I brought an extra ticket and gave it away to the ticket booth bc no refund! very expensive night and Parking was a nightmare. This was my first time coming here. I got tickets to the inaugural "Merry Christmas Hayride" it was about 25 min long. I really liked that the light displays during the hayride were varied with some that I hadn't seen elsewhere. A couple of light displays were coordinated to music. One display was singing animatronics. Another blew snow at you. Another had fog filled bubbles that floated nicely. They even had a nightmare before Christmas themed display. You were also able to take free pictures with the grinch and cindy lou Who, Mrs clause, elves, and of course Santa. Some families picked up their Christmas tree and had it wrapped. They have a fire pit and heaters to keep you warm. You can purchase hot cocoa. It was a very nice family experience. I'll definitely make it an annual tradition to come here. Even if you don't do the hay ride, you can still access everything else. read more

I love this tree farm and I'm so glad we found it 3 years ago. Each year it gets better and better. We have walked the fields looking for a tree to cut down, but always end up taking one that is already cut. They are beautiful trees. The wreaths are made by one of the owners and are really good. I wanted to buy them all. I was disappointed that they ran out of the fried doughnuts right before I ordered. They were so good last time! I very convincing Santa was walking around and he asked my kids what they wanted for Christmas and then asked me if I wanted to take a picture of them with my Cell Phone. There is also a firepit and an area with goats you can pet. I really recommend going here, instead of the overpriced, overcrowded options in the same area. read more

Came here today to look for a tall decent tree and got nothing, limited selection and not very mature tress. Entry, parking and exit were all horrible. Spent more time in line to enter, park and exit than anything else. Will never come back. read more

They advertise "live Christmas trees", but these are not in pots! They come with a rootball wrapped in burlap which is fine if you are planning to plant them directly outside, rather than having them inside for the holiday season and then planting them out. Also, selection of these was very limited. Can only rate on this one aspect as it is the only reason I drove a long way to get here. read more

I bought a ticket for a specific day via their website for the Legends of Fear Haunted Hayride. They then canceled that night due to rain (i was ready to go rain or shine!). They refused a refund saying that even though the ticket has a date, I could come back and use it any day. What?!!? This was the only night I was going to be in the area, so it isn't possible for me to return. This is cheap and petty! So, I can't speak for the hayride itself, but I would advise going to another hayride that has a more fair and friendly costumer service and definitely DO NOT buy tickets ahead of time online. read more

I waited in line for an hour and paid $26 for a lame hayride where I was not scared at one point in time. It was a waste of money and I would never go back. Now in line for the trail which is way too long of a wait after that disappointment of a hayride. I've paid less than $26 dollars for trail of terror in Wallingford and that was phenomenal. Fairview is a rip off. Don't go!!! read more

Love this place. Less busy then Jones during the holidays and they have a great Halloween Haunted Trail.

I decided to come here since they were open during the week. Since we were expecting a bad storm with rain and sleet this weekend I decided I better get one now since the weather will only be going down hill after today. It looked like a nice place the people working there were nice enough. I picked out a pre-cut for 76.00 and gave it a spin it looked good so I had them wrap it. Just an FYI the pre-cut trees are not from their farm but from a very long distance away so they are quite dry as they are cut a few weeks previous and I was not told this until I was paying. I asked if they would honor a first responder discount, but the answer was a blunt "NO" I was quite shocked especially since this year we did a lot of extra overtime service just volunteering and it's nice to see some gratitude from the community. It made my heart sink that in the spirit of Christmas this place could not knock off a couple bucks. The total came to 80.+ which is very expensive for a precut compared to some other places where you can get it for as low as 35.00. for fresh cut but unfortunately were not open. Even Home Depot had fresher and less exp trees which I found out about later as well. This is what happens when you don't do your homework, I was just eager to get one before the bad weather. When I got the tree home it did not look like the same one I chose. I put it in the stand and several branches were broken off at the bottom from them baling it, making it look really sad. Oh well, I guess this was the perfect place to go to get the tree for a crappy end to 2020. I won' be returning nor can I recommend. It's Way too expensive. The larger trees were over $100. which is really outrageous since most people are struggling this year. I could have gone across the street to Jones and cut a fresh tree for $80. and would have gotten a free ornament too. Ughhh. read more

Staff is friendly, prices are good! They have a few animals for the kids and a little store with ornaments, ect. We really enjoyed it. Halloween is a lot of fun! read more

We really enjoyed cutting down our Christmas tree here. The staff was very friendly. While they do provide saws, you may want to bring your own. The one we were given bowed horribly and was not getting the job done. We ended up using our own saw that we brought. read more

Great local, family run farm! Everyone is always incredibly friendly. My family always gets our Christmas trees from them. I recently went to get a large amount of small pumpkins for a fundraiser I was doing at school. They were the exact price I wanted, but I'm sure if it wasn't they would have been willing to negotiate! They were so helpful with helping count out the right amount and finding a box to put them all in. Great place! read more
