We drove up the car to where there were the most trees (which is a good distance away from the entrance and parking area) and went hunting for a nice looking tree that would fit in the living room. After sawing it down, we carried it to the roof of the car, secured it in place, paid the good folks, and went on our way. Was easy and we had no complaints besides the cold and wind.

They had lots of tomato plants, peppers, cabbage, cukes and lettuce all reasonably priced. We passed on the budding flowers -- just too soon in the season, we think. But they had a lot of choices, so we'll be back in mid-May. We also like their indoor store; they have some fresh-grown tomatoes that are tasty and sell some very good locally grown canned and bottled products (try their apple sauce - really yummy). The owners Amy and Steve were super nice and helpful. My family and I went on Black Friday to purchase a pre-cut tree for $80. Currently, their trees are just babies and growing. They had two types of pre-cut trees to choose from; there were a few to choose from but we found the perfect tree! They had a vendor onsite making spiked hot chocolate, espresso martini, and various others. The interior of the barn was cozy with plenty of seating. There were plenty of items you can purchase in there, such as soap, honey, ornaments, etc. We got to pet the animals on the farm right outside, my children loved it. They also hosts events such as candle and ornament making, to name a couple. Overall, a lovely place to visit for events, purchase a Christmas tree, and even pet some farm animals!

They have several varieties, although I couldn't tell you what they are - I just know they have hard and soft needles and which I personally prefer. It was my first visit, and I was amazed at the thousands of varieties of stunningly colorful annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and more. Rows and Rows of beautiful flowers everywhere. We ended up buying four flats of pretty pink and purple perennials @ $2.95/flat. The Raspberry Parfait Dianthus will really beautify our mailbox. They also have a store with all sorts of home decor and furnishings. Note that Coward Farms is open during the year in three distinct time periods - Spring from May 1st - July 3rd, Fall from Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st and Christmas -starting the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The workers are amazingly helpful. The wrap your tree, throw it on the tractor and load it in your car/truck. Prices are reasonable and comparsble to other tree farms.
