We then swapped half over as we were so excited to taste multiple dishes. My folks both went for steak and chips which looked divine. The food was all delicious. There was a decent amount but the plates were not overloaded and afterwards I felt full but not stuffed -content! My parents went for desserts and they were excellently presented and apparently very good. The decor is cute. There's many prints with a Clontarf or Pigeon House theme. The exposed pipe work and old fashioned light bulbs work really well with the oily green paint. The windows let in loads of light which makes the place very comfortable to sit in but not too bright. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant and I'm definitely demanding to come here each time I'm home!

My husband, being the pagan he is, opted for a chocolate milkshake with oreo crumbs (what??) The joint has a condiments bar where you can add jalapeños, crispy onions and other such to your meal. It is self serve for ordering and you are given a table placard for the table to await a server who does bring your meal. The burgers were distinctly charbroiled and flavorful. The fries were.....well, meh.....the sauces definately added value to the fries. The sliced jalapeños were delicious, as were the sauces. I really enjoyed them. I would have given this place four stars for being in the keeping of what it is--a hole in the wall burger joint. They even have a garlic mayo which tastes pretty similar to ranch. The only downsides that I saw were the chicken tenders had a weird texture. The texture isn't unique to this restaurant, it just seems to be how meat is in Ireland. Burgers also have a strange texture. Irish meat tastes fine but seems drier. I also don't think you can get free refills which is just how everyone does things in not America.
