We had such a great experience buying a house with FairGreen's help! Tom was so helpful and they were great about communication. Could not have asked for a better realtor! read more

My husband and I worked with Tom Gibbons and he was absolutely amazing at listening to our needs and communicating all the housing options to us. Housing options were super easy to look through and book online. He ended up helping us find a great home (first purchase) and was able to walk us through all the steps and put us in contact with great people to work with. Great experience and we highly recommend! read more

FairGreen Real Estate - Real Estate Services Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

We saw about 10 properties through the FairGreen real estate among a period of one year. We finally found one property we liked and purchased. Our agent was Jason Rowland. Our first condo purchase experience with him was;...I felt that he gave me a minimum support. I think it could be better. At the most important event, the closing, no one from FairGreen showed up at the event. Jason told me he was busy. Amazing, no one from his office came to the closing on behalf of him. No-following up with me, still today. I guess after he got a check, he doesn't care. Fortunately I got an awesome mortgage broker, Michael Bencks from neighborhood loans, he helped me so much, gave me sincere advise, and support me every step, because of him, I was able to close. Do I want to recommend Jason to my friends? Maybe not... read more

I scheduled an apartment showing with Samantha Gibbons, one of the leasing agents at FairGreen, for her earliest available apartment viewing, which was a Saturday morning at 10a. At 9:30a that morning (30 minutes prior to our apartment showing), I sent her an email just to confirm that we were still on. 5 minutes later, she said she wasn't able to get a hold of the tenant to show me the apartment in a very curt manner. I then immediately emailed to schedule the next available time slot and was met with complete silence. First of all, why am I the one having to reach out to learn of this cancellation? Had I not done that, Samantha may not have been decent enough to warn me ahead of time. Second of all, why would you ignore an email that was sent to you within 2 minutes of your last reply? At least follow up and say that there are none or that there are applications sent already--or something. She was completely unprofessional and an absolute waste of time and I'll be telling my friends to avoid working with FairGreen Real Estate when looking for an apartment or condo. read more

As my experience was only a short time it was a little aggravating knowing an apartment I liked and wanted to see wasn't going to happen, felt like a waste of time to even email me. Anyway, I received an email from an agent who her and I were emailing each other back in a timely manner until she just stopped and disappeared. I sent a second email with question marks for a reply and I have not gotten a response since. I emailed back 3rd time letting her know it was no longer necessary, that's if she even thought about letting me know - anything. read more

This is gonna be a long one but bear with me: it's good. My roommate and I leased an apartment from FairGreen two years ago and had no problems the first year. My roommate moved out and I took over the lease by myself. His name was never on this new lease but apparently FairGreen still thinks he lives here after he and I have repeatedly told them he doesn't and they still harass him. Back in July of my second year FairGreen informed me that they were selling the building to an "Elma Management" and gave me the new contact for the landlord. But somehow these people still work for FairGreen and are associated with them and I have no idea who actually is responsible for the building. Things went downhill from there. First they turned my cooking gas off for some reason and then told me it was my responsibility to call People's Gas and get it turned back on. Then my apartment was broken into and neither the police or I could get a hold of them until later at night while I'm sitting in my unit with a broken window and glass all over the place. And it takes them a week the replace the window after cancelling on me multiple times, so for a week I was left with a piece of plywood. Great. Then during the polar vortex the radiators broke and water leaked everywhere. Again management took hours to actually get back to me about the issue, and they still never got around to fixing any of the damage. On top of it they take weeks the cash rent checks that are due on the first of the month. I'm moving out now and of course I anticipate them showing my unit, but they never give me notice. My roommate got a text (again my roommate that doesn't live with me) and he tells me about these showings. I've called the leasing agent and he never responds, so I guess people are just going to stop by whenever they want. Honestly I'm so glad I'm leaving and not renting from FairGreen or "Elma Management" or whoever owns this building. Good luck to those who do. read more

Yesterday was the 4th smooth closing I have had with Jason at FairGreen Real Estate this month and my future deals with him are going perfectly as well. All of my clients cannot speak highly enough of his work ethic, experience and "whatever-it-takes" mentality to get them the best deal and they all keep sending us friends and family as referrals, so that says it all. Thank you as always Jason and I look forward to more deals with you, cheers! read more

These guys were recommended to us by a friend. We interviewed a few companies but ended up using FairGreen. I am so happy we decided to hire them. They helped us sell our Condo and buy a house in the suburbs. They made the process so easy and pain free. Even when the negotiations got tough their direction was spot on. Thanks again. read more

My wife and I worked with Thomas to help us find a house. He was easy to communicate with whether it was email or phone calls and he was flexible with our schedule (we typically work late). He also helped us understand the whole process from start to finish from - putting an offer in, understanding the mortgage process, to the home inspection. It only took us about 3 weeks with Thomas's help to find the perfect place for us. I would recommend FairGreen to anyone looking to buy/sell/ or a place to rent. read more

I have worked with Valerie and Daisy at Fairgreen and they're beyond amazing. After 2 years and 8 months of living at a beautiful unit on Dover, my girlfriend and I wanted to move in together. That's the only reason I ended up finding another unit. We ended up in a unit that we love, and while it's not with Fairgreen I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company. They always had everything up and running in the common areas and my building never needed maintenance but once and they were out there in a heartbeat without any hesitation. I would recommend them to my family and friends. read more

I worked with Ruth at Fair Green while looking at apartments two years in a row and even though I ended up going with a different apartment than the ones she showed me, working with her was a great experience. For every space I've viewed with her she's been up front about the strengths and drawbacks of a building or area and I always have felt like I've gotten the honest story about a neighborhood, building and unit. read more

Jason Rowland is the broker for you. I don't know you of course, but if you're looking to buy a place in Chicago, then look no further then Jason and his team at FairGreen. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with his role in the process - and what a process it was. Isn't it always? You will not meet a more dedicated broker. This was our first time buying, and we had no less than a million questions. Sometimes I had questions at 630 am. Sometimes 1100 at night. I don't think the phone ever rang more than once. Even when the process took longer then we thought and cut into his vacation time, he planned far ahead of time, making sure we had coverage from his "right hand man" Nick, who was also great to work with. Jason is direct, honest, and responds to emails faster than Doc Holiday can draw a pistol. He's everything you need in a broker to navigate the myriad of issues that can (and likely will, sorry) come up when buying in Chi town. He truly represents his clients to get them the best deal, but manages expectations throughout, which is a really refreshing quality. Finally, Jason took care of everything. Like I said, we were new to this whole thing, and totally intimidated. He had recommendations for the top people in the respective roles that we needed to close and get the best deal. Even though the process had its speedbumps (through no fault of our team), we truly feel the process couldn't have gone better, and we owe that to Jason and his team at FairGreen. read more

Being new to Chicago, it was good to find a broker to help in the search for an apartment. Nick has been a tremendous help in narrowing my search and helping me find the right space that fulfilled all of my requirements. I have recommended Nick to several of my friends and they all have used him for their search as well. Hopefully, we will work together soon on my condo purchase!! read more

This is white-glove service at its best! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Jason & his team at FairGreen Real Estate. They provided the expertise we needed and the responsiveness we required as we searched for and purchased our new home in an ultra-competitive market. We were even provided with car service so that we could concentrate on assessing neighborhoods rather than search for parking! Jason and FairGreen were able to help us build a home-buying "Dream Team" with exceptional referrals and through collaboration with our mortgage lender and attorney. Jason's negotiation abilities are second-to-none and he was able to get us under contract the day before an open house was scheduled to occur -- just amazing. We'd recommend FairGreen Real Estate without hesitation, it truly doesn't get better than this. read more

Last summer, I was about 8.5 months pregnant when we decided we wanted to buy a condo.. before the baby was born! Ruth was amazing. Not only did she listen to all of our needs, but she showed us places we didn't even know existed! The condo we bought is amazing and it was not even on my list of ones I was interested in seeing. She said that she found a place she thought we'd like and asked us if we wanted to see it and give it a chance. I fell in love and the rest is history! Ruth can make ANYTHING happen and is amazing. She was so kind and patient with me and my crazy, pregnant brain! Ask for Ruth!! read more

I have been a tenant of FairGreen Real Estate for the last 2 years. The management is easy to get in contact with and very helpful. The maintenance requests are taken care of quickly, and the building is well maintained. I was extremely happy with FairGreen real estate and my agent Joso Goreta. Joso was right on top of everything involved in the purchasing process from our initial house search through to closing! Joso was able to explain this complicated process in terms that were understandable to non-pros like myself. I never felt rushed or out of the loop when we were going through negotiations on price or fixes that needed to be completed before closing. Joso was an aggressive negotiator getting me an amazing price for our new home. This is because he knows the business inside and out and uses that knowledge to negotiate and lay out the reality of the home buying process. I never felt that he was giving me false information or making empty claims "just to get the deal done" as so many other agents are guilty of. With Joe there were no surprises and he always got back to me within hours to answer my (many) questions. I would highly recommend Joso Goreta and FairGreen real estate for anyone entering the home buying or selling process. read more

Great real estate company! Helped me find the diamond in the rough in a market where there wasn't a whole lot available in the neighborhood I wanted and at my specific price. Joso helped me find a multi unit and then was a big help negotiating. After I moved in I was very busy with remodeling, work, etc. I turned to Fairgreen to help me with the rental. Within a week or so I had a renter signing a lease. Would highly recommend them. Straight forward, honest, and they are on your side. read more

My wife and I recently worked with Jason to find out first home and he was there every step of the process to help guide us through a very smooth process and answer any questions we had along the way. Jason also referred us to our mortgage broker who did an amazing job as well! Jason and his team at FairGreen know their stuff and surround themselves with an expert network of professionals to address anything you need throughout the purchase process. He even found us a contractor to do some work on our new condo before me moved in! Can't say enough good things about these guys and the work they do. read more

"It was a pleasure working with Nick Theilig. As renters, we were overwhelmed about the search process. Many brokers we had contacted never replied back to us. When they did, they were always curt, removed of any real investment on our part and made us feel like we were simply a transaction. Thankfully we met Nick. He was kind enough to set us up with a search and presented us with many listings. He made the search experience less tedious for us and to be honest, gave us hope in finding a home during Chicago's prime (and crazy) moving season. Nick is incredibly responsive, very diligent, thorough and punctual. He has never been late to one of our showings and he is not afraid to work hard. There are A LOT of incompetent brokers out there, and we've learned that those who are very competent may not give us the due attention we deserve (being that we're just renters for the moment). Nick is professional, competent and yet very humbling to our cause. We look forward to working with him when it's time for us to find a place we can permanently call home. read more
