Very friendly staff. Received a snack & water upon arrival but only for 1 person (there were 2 of us). Plate of warm cookies & flavored water by the front door. The top was spacious and comfortable but there was only 1 chair. Bathroom was big & water pressure was great. There was a green glazing light on the smoke detector that flashed all night, that was annoying. The breakfast was excellent for a free breakfast. There were many options to choose from but the fresh mixed fruit tasted a little weird. The breakfast hostess was very friendly and kept everything well stocked. There were 3 juice options but 2 were orange, cranberry would have been a nice alternative. There's a pub across the parking lot that had good food for dinner, nice not to have to get back in the car to find something. The pool was small & there's no hot tub but we still enjoyed a quick dip. Definitely would return. read more

This location is super close to the airport, serves a free and decent breakfast, has spacious, modern and comfortable rooms (get the king bed suite) and great service all around. It's close to the freeway for quick access and across the street from the mall if you need to pick up any miscellaneous items from Target, etc. read more

I love staying at this hotel! Typically I prefer the extended stays with a kitchenette, but this one is brand new hotel with an OUTSTANDING staff! They have bent over backwards for me when I've been sick, for my food allergies, and even got me a lunch bag after they learned I had lost mine during my travels over the weekend out of state. I do stay in hotels a LOT! So it's really nice when you have such a great and nice staff. After having stayed at a few others in the area I have seen this one is a top choice. The cleaning staff do a great job (I hardly see them so I can't call out their names). The front desk crew Rhonda, Sam, Denise, Derek, and Chris are all super helpful with genuine smiles to help you with whatever you need. Mollie the front desk manager goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be and when she finds out there is an issue she is super quick to get in touch or remedy the situation as soon as she can! The breakfast ladies, Karla during the week and Mary on weekends, greet you each morning with a smile and ensure the food is great, fresh, organized beautifully, and available. Me I have food allergies so they always make sure I have something I can eat. The beds are very comfortable with a different array of pillows which you don't always find at hotels. I've stayed at some other Marriotts where they were too big and made my neck hurt, but here they have an assortment on each bed to help you ensure a goodnight's rest! The rooms all have a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. So even though they may not have a kitchenette I can still refrigerate and heat up leftovers from some of the nearby restaurants. Or prepare some store bought food, Woodman's is right down the street. I love the fresh decor and I have got to find where they bought the shade for the windows! We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for a friend's wedding. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed breakfast both mornings - a full buffet with a rotating option. I loved all the options! I thought the road noise near the hotel was also relatively quiet, but our room was facing the frontage road, not the interstate. We did not partake in the pool or the fitness room but they both looked to be in nice shape and very clean. Things we didn't love: The walls were pretty thin as we could hear our neighbors on our sides/above us but thankfully it was very intermittent and wasn't in the middle of the night. I felt that the mattress was somewhat uncomfortable (not very cushy, seemed to be thinner than a regular mattress) and the pillows were pretty flat/misshapen, we'd bring our own pillows next time. read more

Service: The staff here is very kind and conversational. During the breakfast hours the woman was constantly keeping the area clean, and talking with all of the guests. Location: This hotel is in the optimal location. Lots of restaurants & stores local to the highway. Condition & comfort: The room and hotel is quite dated. They keep the appearance as nice as they can. The hallway creeks when you walk on it, and many of the items in the room are falling apart due to age. Even with the age, the furniture is much more comfortable than any of the newly renovated Marriotts I've stayed as an Elite guest. read more

They should not purport that they are taking extra measures to manage COVID-19 when every interaction I have experienced from the personnel there is in direct opposition to that intent. None of the front desk staff wore masks and were not forcing social distance amongst each other nor any of the guests. In fact, I was stepping back to increase my distance and they were still intruding. They did still provide complimentary breakfast (that had to be called ahead) and the employee handling and bring the food presented the food completely open (not covered or in a container) and was (also) not wearing a mask not gloves to handle food. Needless to say: we ate none of the breathed food. This all made for a miserable anxiety-riddled stay and I don't expect I will ever come back. If they showed such a willful disregard of their guests' safety and comfort during the pandemic, I shudder to think what they will be like when it is over. read more

Walgreens had put me in this hotel for the weekend while I helped work at one of their locations nearby. Many of the employees had to share double bed rooms, but I luckily ended up with a single King bed room. The King bed was very comfortable, and I was happy to have 5 pillows to myself, but the fitted sheets were not so fitting. When I woke in the morning, they were no longer around the bed but on top ( and I am not a crazy sleep mover, this event doesn't happen at home or other hotel beds I have slept in). This happened both nights I stayed. The room temp was comfortable with the digital themostat for a/c and heat, and not very loud. The bathroom was clean and stocked with adequate supply of pillows. Shower fixtures worked well. The room was spacious to have a queen sized sofabed/couch and desk. Refrig and microwave both worked fine, didn't try the coffee maker. Continental breakfast was bagels, bananas, make your own waffles, breakfast dogs, activia yogurt, dry cereal and milk, including soy milk, muffins and donuts. I burned my thumb the first morning because my bagel got stuck in the toaster, but the next morning they had a new toaster. I enjoyed the hot tub, next the the pool ( i didnt go into pool). The 2 other women in the hot tub with me complained about the chemical smell and the burn in their eyes. This didn't bother me as much, but it was noticeable. I stayed in for 30 minutes, enjoyed a canned beverage, then returned to my room to shower off the chemicals off my skin. The front desk staff were very friendly. And my bed was made and room tidy each day. I purposely didn't leave the "please clean my room" card out because I didnt think it necessary, but they did it anyways. Not sure if this is ok with me or not. I could have reused the one hand towel I had and didn't need my bed made again. I did not have my laptop with me but they included their wi-fi password with my room keys. They also offered a guest pass to Golds Gym during my stay, which I did not partake of. Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would stay there again. read more

Brand New Fairfield. Excellent beds, linens & breakfast. Staff was friendly. Easy access to highway. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a pretty good cheap place to stay for business. You get free breakfast in the morning, the rooms are warm, and the beds were comfortable. There isn't a fridge or microwave in the rooms and some rooms still smell like smoke since they're converting all their rooms to non-smoking. There's only this place and the Residence Inn if you want your Marriott points. I think the best part of this deal is your free Gold's Gym passes. I think the Fairfield Inn and the Hampton Inn, and another place have an agreement with the Gold's Gym down the street. You can take any class and also go whenever since it's 24 hours. Otherwise, a good place to stay. read more

I have stayed at many Marriott properties, many much newer, with many more amenities... They may have an aged building and a lack of on-site gym, but the service is stellar! Melinda at the front desk is on point and deserves 5 stars, the lack of amenities really keeps this place from earning 5 stars... With out this stellar staff they would be wallowing in 2 or 3 star land.... I would stay here again! read more

Good hotel. Spent about three weeks here. The staff is incredibly friendly. Rooms are clean. Pillows are a little uncomfortable but overall not bad. Only downside is if you get a room on the side that the highway is, it tends to be pretty loud. Other than that, great hotel! read more

I will say that the front desk trainee Manager was very friendly. However, I booked a double queen room, because there were 3 of us traveling and we prefer a real bed to a sofa bed. I was informed upon check in that the cleaning staff had "decided to leave early" and so there were no double queens, he would have to put me in a room with a King and a sofa bed. Since that was our only option, we took it. I then gave him my card for payment. He started to inform me that they don't have a chip reader and can't take a card with a chip. (I use this card all of the time at hotels and have never had a problem). After pressing a bit, he agreed to enter the numbers manually and it immediately went through just fine. The room was clean and the King sized bed was comfortable. The sofa bed, however was not. We The pool was small but clean and the kids had fun there. We came down for breakfast around 8 AM. The coffee was gone and most of the hot food. Someone asked for syrup for waffles and a gentlemen brought out a large jug with a tiny bit left on the bottom and set it on the counter. Some time later, more coffee was brought out. I definitely didn't expect a gourmet breakfast at a hotel, but some preparation for people would have been nice. The staff struggles were more than visible to guests; professionally, any internal struggles should still be presented as seamlessly as possible in guest facing situations. read more

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Rooms are dirty, old, and hot. A/C didn't work. Everything in room is very old and you can tell. General Manager was snotty when I asked to change rooms. This hotel is now called AmericInn By Wyndham. Do not stay here. read more

This hotel is definitely older and is need of an upgrade. The TV's are old, the bed is not as comfortable as one would hope, and the decor is bright green. They do have free wifi and a decent free breakfast which is nice but for the price there are probably better places to stay in the area. read more

Booked this hotel online. Came in late. Room was very nice as was the hotel. Breakfast was good, wi-fi was good. Nice pool but no hot tub. However, we had to check out after only one night because the bed was too soft. The mattress was low quality, not what you would expect from a name brand Hotel. I have noticed this at Marriott hotels and have had to ask for bed boards at some of the more expensive ones. If Marriott would invest in higher quality mattresses they would get more business. Noticed on the Marriott web site that they copied from the Westin with their heavenly bed mattress. However, it is not the same. If you want the best mattress and sleep of any hotel chain, the Westin is the leader because the invested in a top quality mattress. read more

As a frequent business traveler around the country, I have stayed at many Marriott locations and am a gold level member. I also frequently travel to and have stayed at the Fairfield Inn numerous times throughout the years. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. My only critique is that it the hotel appears old, outdated, hallway carpet is shabby/dirty and the rooms are ok at best. I prefer to stay at Marriott as a loyal member however the competition literally across the street provides much nicer, cleaner, and more sophisticated decor, and rooms. Also, they offer a fitness facility as well. It is getting harder to justify staying here even if the price is less or around the same. I think if the hotel invests in some renovations it would be a wise move. I hope the owners find this feedback useful. I want to stress that the staff is very friendly and accomodating, however the facility needs to match the level of employee excellence. read more
