I didn't even have it cleaned before I wore it for fear that the silk satin fabric would be compromised. The fabric is beautiful and has held up well, yet it's still super sleek and delicate. Karl assured me that he would take a look and offer his best opinion. Right away, Karl put me at ease and let me know that they would do a delicate wash and that we would take a look at the result before considering boxing it up to the preserved. It was ready in a week and when I went to look - I couldn't have been happier with the result. The fabric was all in tact and the stains gone - even some of the ones that were from my grandmother! I wasn't even hoping for that! The dress turned out great, and I am so happy that we never had to treat it with chemicals.
