And we were totally polite to her. I feel sorry for anyone who has to interact with her. The application wasn't for me, but she treated me like the animal that she thinks I am. I'm simply trying to help someone else. Somebody needs to sit Denise L. down and let her know that she's not better than the people she's dealing with. And one day she may trade shoes with the people she's disrespectful to. I've seen it happen.

This town is kind of like a ghost town, but a very nice sign greets you as you enter Ritzville. The…read morename of the town sounds super classy though, right? It was nearly wiped out due to a fire that spread very rapidly through the town in the early 19th centtury. Ritzville has been rebuilt since that time with rustic brick buildings, grain silos, and remnants of the railroad although the population is on a steady decline. This town reminds me of Cosmopolis with how eerily quiet and clean it is. But is was windy as heck though, which isn't something Ritzville can help.

In a small campus setting near Spokane International Airport, it is a work release facility with four bunks to each room. Inmates are allowed to bring in personal items including TVs. Some of my favorite things at Geiger were- * Mondays- Tacos in the cafeteria and Monday Night Football in the TV room. * Guards that were for the most part pleasant. * Talking to the federal female prisoners in the yard (just remember to stay on your side of the sidewalk) -1 star for loss of personal freedom.

When he was moved to Geiger I called to see what building he was in so I could schedule a visit. I had to pick the option to speak with someone in Admin so I could actually talk with someone. The man who answered the phone didn't speak clearly enough for me to get his name, and he cut me off before I could get my entire question out telling me that he couldn't tell me anything. I said you can't tell me what building he is in? Nope I don't know that information. I responded by saying he is at your facility and you don't know what building he is in? He said nope, you can look on the website. I said , I did go to your website. It tells me that he is at Geiger and it tells me what time visiting is, but it doesn't tell me what building and floor he is on. It does however tell me I need to know that information to schedule a visit. He responded with "well then write him a nice letter that he will eventually get telling him how much you love him, I'm sure that will make him write you back and then you'll have the information you want!" His tone was very rude and condescending. Before I could say anything he hung up. I realize this is a correctional facility, however I am not a criminal and my boyfriend was there on a DUI, not a horrific crime. I am a professional and I will not be treated as if I am garbage by someone that is a little high on their horse because they are a guard at a jail. The first time I went to visit there were three guards in the room chatting. I was ignored for five minutes before one of them came over took my ID asked who I was visiting, gave me my ID back and then turned to talk to one of the other guards leaving me standing there. Not knowing what to do since I am not accustomed to visiting the jail, I just stood there waiting. The third guard came rushing up to the window when he saw me standing there and I told him the other guy already took my info. He looked shocked and he buzzed me in. Nguyen was this guards name and he was quite nice. However the other two guards and the one on the phone left a lasting impression on how awful the employees at this facility are. If they treat me poorly and show me no respect, I can only imagine how they treat the inmates. The way that the employees behave is not acceptable and I believe that there should be higher standards set into place upon hiring for a position. I guess this is what you get from union employees. Hate this place and the way it operates. I will make it a goal of mine to make sure that any inappropriate treatment I receive or hear about happening inside will not be hidden from the public. It will not let me post with out giving at least on star. My true rating would be a negative hundred stars. 100

Snohomish county jail is SO much better than Spokane county jail. Spokane's jail was so dirty, the…read morepolice working were inhumane to inmates, one cop even told someone "you're not that important" and they don't even provide shoes like Snohomish County Jail did. Spokane jail also "lost my clothes" and I had to leave the jail in their scrubs. They suck!

This jail was filthy. Toilets were clogged in booking with trash everywhere. I was in for a very…read moreminor offense and my health was at risk the 28 hours I stayed because they withheld my blood pressure and mental health medications for 17 hours. My blood pressure was 204/140 by the time I got medication. I asked for my medications the whole night and was lied to constantly. Most of the correctional officers were confrontational with every person they saw. The bright lights are kept on 24/7 and you could only leave your cell for half an hour a day. Some of the correctional officers made their political beliefs known loudly. I had to go to the ER twice for my health due to the stay in this jail. I was taken to the hospital in handcuffs that left bruises covering my wrists and hands.

I got pulled over today because my car didn't have plates. I explained to the officer that my car…read moredidn't pass the emissions test. I had just spent $500 on an alternator and was waiting to get some more money. I showed him my insurance for a different vehicle too. You have a month to get the new cards in and your car is covered. He said my license was suspended too. I don't know why it is. I was polite and he even wanted to get me for the seatbelt that I took off when he approached the car. I don't wanna be trapped when a person with a weapon is approaching my car. I'm a good citizen just having a hard time. Well he gave me a ticket for $1236 that I can't pay. I'm a disabled veteran on a limited income. I thought the police were here to protect and serve! He could have trusted me and gave me a warning but he was an inconsiderate jerk. Is name is Jacob Keith. Beware of this guy. He doesn't have the right mentality to be a good officer. These guys give the good cops a bad name.I hope Airway Heights has better officers out there protecting and serving. Not trying to destroy others live. I'm sure I won't be able to drive now since I can't afford $1236 and I won't be able to get the emissions fixed either. You're in a catch 22. They want you to register your car but wouldn't let me so I was stuck. Thanks for your consideration officer keith. I believe it will come back around to you. If I ever see an officer in need of assistance I will turn my back and say where were you when I needed some compassion! My children thank you too! I'm sure my license is a mix up. Am I suppose to have my car towed to a place to fix it then towed to register it before I can do anything???!! What do you do when the cops are so inconsiderate? I don't have the money to have it towed all over town. The car was $500. Any advice on my situation would be nice. I just want to do the right thing. I know judges are even less understanding so where do I turn?! A warning would have had the same weight as a ticket. He also looked unprofessional with a beard. They asked us what happened and talked to us in a calm manner and were not hostile or in our faces. The issue was resolved and we went about our business. No complaints.
