Kura Sushi! * Ernie's Interlude - welcoming dive bar; meet your neighbors, sing some songs! * Trader Joe's - this parking lot isn't so exasperating * Whole Foods - Great Amazon return setup * WinCo Foods - Show me a better bulk foods area * Grocery Outlet - I have a collection of shoplifting videos from this location at Marconi. The best one was when a group had a loaded shopping cart of Tide and there was a getaway van with a covered license plate that squealed them away. * Costco Business Center - it's like old school Costco (Price Club) with the huge boxes of bulk chewing gum. Get yo'self half a goat while you're at it. * Country Club Cinema - comfy reclining seats, $5 Tuesdays. Close to midtown, close to Business and Highway 80, not far from 50, it's a very convenient place to live. I hear the sheriff helicopter circling overhead maybe four times a year? I don't know if that's good or bad. It would be bad if I lived in Canada, but for Arden Arcade that's probably par for the course.

Most of the time when I'm visiting the Arden-Arcade area it's for food and there are a lot of great places to try out. At Howe 'Bout Arden I'm a frequent visitor of 18 grams Coffee Roasters and there are a lot of other restaurant and shopping options in that plaza, along with a movie theater. There is also both Ettore's Bakery and Restaurant and Estelle Bakery and Patisserie in the area and walking into either is dangerous, because the baked goods are AMAZING! Taqueria La Perla Tapatia is also in this area and their food is so tasty. You can go for something classic or simple or try one of their unique creations that your tastebuds and camera will love. Do a quick Yelp search and you're bound to find some new places you want to visit, and I feel like new places are being introduced all the time. I will say, this area is not my favorite to drive in. Sometimes the roads are a bit confusing and some areas need could use some updates. I feel like I always need my GPS here compared to Downtown where it's a grid. if you grow up here I'm sure it's a lot easier to navigate though.

I mean, this event put together by Macy's and Yelp was meant for family time. Alas, since I didn't feel like borrowing anyone's offspring, and drive-in movies aren't my gig, I'll be honest and say I drove all the way out to 50 & Bradshaw from Natomas to claim my Yelp Elite "Macy's Great American Drive In" goodie bag. So, I got there at about 6pm (gates didn't open until 6:30pm), and I was third in line. Gates opened promptly on time, and my Yelp Elite ticket got me my goodie bag. My haul included what's pictured in the avatar for this event: Macy's Great American Drive In canvas bag, frisbee, light-up yo-yo, and light-up ring, along with a Macy's savings pass, a bag of Cracker Jacks, and a cool Macy's blanket. And, gosh, can't forget the $10 Macy's gift card! Quite the haul, and totally worth the drive from Natomas :) I did park for a bit, and noticed a nice bouncy-house thing being utilized by multiple kiddies. Also saw that a few food trucks were there: Smoothie Patrol, OMG Burger, and OM Karmabile. If I wasn't already stuffed from eating at Krush Burger earlier, I would have partaken in one of those offerings, but it was nice that they were there. All in all, this event was nicely done. Though I didn't stick around, I'm sure those that made it a family night out made the most of it. :)

The teriyaki chicken here may be the best bazaar chicken in sacramento. The chowmein is great. There's delicious authentic Japanese sushi here. If you want some udon they also have that. I always get several snow cones while I'm there; they have quite a few flavors usually. I'm probably forgetting some things. This bazaar isn't the biggest bazaar in sac; but all the food at this bazaar tastes great. It's worth the drive. The only downside is that it's usually hot.

All three of them rubbing and kissing. Then into the pool they went and the underwater petting began. It was great. Who knew Thunder was so open to community-led sex ed! The many kids with front row seats certainly enjoyed it! Bar and food is decent, so I added a star, ooh wee!

We saw several waitresses going to all the cabanas and the loungers throughout the day. Can you guess how many times we were visited by a waitress in the 9 hours we were there? Zero! I didn't know if I should feel it was racism or what but we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar or from the kitchen. We had to get up each time and walk to the bar ourselves. I also ordered from the kitchen and we had to get up and go to the bar and pick it up ourselves. There were delivery guys who would deliver food from the kitchen to other patrons but when it came to us, we had to do it all ourselves. I'm not sure how to feel about the entire situation. I love to see all kinds or art such as handmade items, or spray paint, or paintings or even photography galleries. I was looking forward to the fire dancing performances! that i have heard people mentioning about. I always stay positive and just be careful of my surroundings when i am attending 2nd saturday. Also starting time is around 6 ish 7 to 9pm for art galleries and most events. Sometimes there are street vendors selling some handmade art work such as ties, or jewelry, and etc, that you might find amazing! Parking It can be a hassle since it is always crowded everywhere on Second Saturday. Just park new 16 j and k street is your best bet. Yes you will have to do some walking, so wear some comfortable walking shoe. Location Artwork! Yes lots of local artists on the streets performing, or artwork inside galleries! Mostly on J and k Street and in the 16th street to the 20's and a few outskirts such as old sac or in east sac as well. One thing i found most interesting and entertaining is Fire Dancing ! its on 17th and K. The name of the place to be exact is Hot pot Dancing! i know the name of the place makes me hungry, seems like we are going to have some hot pot or fondue. But yes this place do offer dance classes where you dance with fire. I gave this performance a 5 out of 5! There were multiple performers with guys and gals. A few of them used a hula hoop with fire around it. One was holding a stick with fire on both ends. As well some swinging instrument with fires on both ends. Just gazing into their foot steps and all that body and hip movements and bright fire was just speechless talented! i felt intense and just makes me want to take a class and perform in a few weeks haha. One complaint about the Hot pot fire dancing is the area smells so bad every time, the smell makes it a bit more less enjoyable. I mean it smells like poo or more like dog poo. There is always a big crowd watching the amazing performances. There are a few art galleries nearby and yes most galleries do sell arts. I know its not cheap and are expensive! you pay for what you get. Bring that card out and be ready to swipe! CAMERAS! Some galleries are not friendly with cameras. They have copy right and don't want photographs. If your a picture person, you are more than welcome to take pictures of street performers, just watch out for the flash since it can distract performers. If your wanting to DANCE, well here is some suggestions.... I think on second saturday, they have sponsors such as low brau and getta clue, the alley between and k and 20th is blocked off for some live band performances with a stage. It felt like i was going to a concert, and yes its FREE! The Stage did play some music which were more indie and did have some mixed hip hop beats in it as well. They did have like guitarist to throw in some rock! As well lots of electronic soft music. I had a good time dancing and boogie away. Yes the famous Kenny the dancing machine was there to encourage everyone to dance. I swear Kenny is always at the best events to dance at. Some suggestions i like to do on second saturday is go out for dinner around 6pm. After dinner go walk around midtown and walk off the calories. Then ending up at some galleries, then end up dancing the night away. I always enjoy myself with a few friends and have a blast.

Best word to describe this event is meager. Best location was the art Co-op behind Bambie restaurant on I street at 17th. There was a variety of tiny size studios there with a few of the artists in attendance. I had some fun conversations with them. Did this art walk once. Check it off the bucket list. No need to repeat.
