Great way to either start or end your day with a walk in this area. Offers a plethora of shops and restaurants that you can walk to.

Awesome area with bars, restaurants and shops, all walking distance to many inns, motels and hotels. Fairgrounds and the Oxbow River Stage and Center are not far away and very walkable as well. Most certainly will be back!!!

Pleasant downtown experience Napa's Riverfront is located in the heart of downtown Napa. We spent an afternoon enjoying downtown, the river, shops, cafes and restaurants. The trail is a paved pedestrian and bicycle path HISTORY: The downtown area has been devastated multiple times over the years including a major disaster in 1986. During floods there was nowhere for the water to go. Since 1850 Napa has experienced over 22 major floods and finally in 2000 construction began on the Flood Project. Downtown Napa has been redesigned and brought major changes to the City. We enjoyed a nice stroll at the River Promenade under a beautiful 80° weather. During our participation in a ghost walking tour one evening we did a dowsing rod session at the Veterans Memorial Park. The historic Borreo Building can be seen across the way on the opposite side of the trail. Napa's Stone Brewing Co is located inside that building, one of Napa's oldest commercial structures. During our visit to downtown Napa it was low tide and we could see the current level on the tide gauge located on the pier of the Third Street Pier. Also, we could see the tidal mudflats, a rich habitat for birds and fishes. Parking was easy but we could not locate the Riverfront's iconic big chair! Do they move that thing to different parts of downtown? Review #2197

My bf & I love to stroll so naturally we ended up in downtown Napa on their riverfront. On the paved path, we saw bikers (bike rentals available), runners, & casual sightseers like ourselves. For food & drink, there are sidewalk restaurants & bars, Oxbow Public Market, & Napa General Store. Plenty of two-hour parking spots & parking lots nearby. The price for a gondola ride here is literally double what I paid for a gondola ride down Venice's Grand Canal, but go for it if that would add even more romance to your wine country visit! For a break from wine tasting, soak up the sun on the promenade & remember to take pics on the giant wooden chair before you leave this historic area.

Napa's Riverfront CA Wed 11/10/21 ® On a pleasant stroll through downtown Napa from Oxbow Public Market you cross the First Street Bridge to get over to the other side of the Napa River and pick out where you plan to eat. There's no shortage of pubs and restaurants, most along the River front. In the heart of the downtown Napa, you'll find casual Californian cuisine, French country, East Asian, Mediterranean, Spanish tapas, comforting BBQ and brews. It's also a destination shopping, with the wide variety of shops ranging from optical to gifts, to Napa General Store, to wine tastings, to men's clothes. Don't forget to take your photo in a Big Chair! Or take a few Cha Cha steps along with the footprints sculpture by Robin Murez. Beautiful scenery and tranquil vibes, this area gives you a sense of calmness and casual laidback mix with world class everything. It's your weekend getaway to come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and Napa's sunshine! Forget Mozart, stimulate your brain with wine! Cheers! *Capture the wild things and bring them in line And own what was never your right to confine The lives and the loves and the songs are what matters I'll tend to the flame; you can worship the ashes Review #663 posted with 6 pictures on November 18, 2021 #ThankYouThursday2021 Napa's Riverfront CA Wed 11/10/21 Riverfront Big Chair! @Napa's Riverfront CA Wed 11/10/21 The Cha Cha Cha by Robin Murez @Napa's Riverfront CA Wed 11/10/21

The Riverfront is so darn serene and simply beautiful. The walk is between the river and shop fronts. The area is very clean and safe. The buildings are modern. The Riverwalk promenade starts or begins from Brown and Division Streets and runs through to the Veterans Memorial Park. The whole promenade is not very long. There is a parking structure offering free limited time parking on Main Street and 5th Street. It's a block away from the Riverfront and next to the public library. Things to Do +Gondola rides with a full suited Italian dressed driver. +Rent bikes from the bicycle shop. +Rent kayaks from the adventure outfitter shop. +Shopping. Boutique shops. +Restaurants. Fine dining. +Visit the Napa Valley visitor center. The main entrance is on Main Street. They can give you the full details on the above activities. Don't miss out on a great selfie opportunity in sitting in the big wooden chair. Also enjoy the scenery and public art along the riverfront. The back of the Napa River Inn Hotel, which is along the riverfront, has a beautiful garden and sculptures. Another great setting for photos.

Wonderful place for a stroll and picture taking on a lovely day. The river is good for boat tours, or kayaks and there are many restaurants and boutique stores to choose from along the riverfront walk. After having brunch nearby, we took a leisurely walk along the river front of beautiful Napa. So relaxing and a very nice way to get around downtown. It is wheelchair accessible at certain points, so getting on and off the enjoy it is just as easy. *wheelchair accessible*

Beautiful riverfront mall stacked with pleasant, cozy shops, a large market, wineries and breweries, all characterized by a historic feel. A visit to the riverfront is all you need to fill your afternoon(s) or evening(s). Highly recommend Fieldwork Brewing for IPA lovers and the Oxbow Public Market for a variety of local snacking, dining, and libation options.

Review #229 - 2018 I never knew about this area until I saw one of my girlfriend's picture on Facebook, of her sitting on the big chair, so I decided to google exactly where it was located. My first time here was with my older brother and we kind of rushed since we were short on time so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as my second time back. When my nephew came to visit from Laos, I made sure that this was one of the places that I brought him and his parents to get some nice pictures. They had a really nice time enjoying the view and taking pictures. Of course, I got a few pictures as well. We walked around the area for a bit looking for a place to eat. Most of the restaurants here didn't open until 5 PM so we weren't sure whether we should go find food somewhere else, but I really wanted to give them a chance to try the food in Napa. Luckily, we came upon Celadon which was already open when we showed up at around 3:30 PM.

    Great veteran stop.

Kayak rentals, riverboat rentals. Tours on thw eiver and you can get a sexy tour italian style on a gondola. Great floral arrangements and gorgeous landscaping make this a draw to visit or adventure. Plenty of architecture and art along the paths. Restaurants all along. A general store and riverfront bars. Very clean. Almost too clean. You will see history in the art. Were, when, and even a war memorial. A veteran statue abd a walk over the bridge for shopping. There wre trails on the orher side of the river. Bike and walking trails. The path is safe and guarded wirh rails for small tikes to run around. Lack of sharp objects helps keep it safe. However watch the artwoek at dawn as properly placed in the sun. Like sundials. Pretty neat stuff here. Folks will enjoy the views. Waterfront seating as well. I loved this visit. Will return with good spirits.

Fun place to walk around in Napa. Great shopping, food, and beverages. Reminds me of the Gaslight District in San Diego.

If you can catch the trail on a lightly traveled day, you can take a leisurely drive next to gorgeous, sun-soaked vineyards and grapevines. There are tons of picture-perfect photo opportunities along this road. There are lots of very high quality wineries along the route too, most are open to the public (and benefit from less crowds)! A lot of the wineries require appointments to be sure to check before showing up to avoid disappointment.

This place came highly recommended by pretty much everyone around town, so we had to check it out, and now I completely understand why. From start to finish, everything was a 10/10. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he absolutely killed it and made the whole experience seamless. The food? Incredible. I had the pasta bolognese and the steak frites, and both were packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly executed. And I know this might sound random... but the white beans?? A hidden gem on the menu. Seriously don't skip them. So good! Portion sizes were just right for me, not overwhelming, but definitely satisfying. The outdoor dining area is absolutely gorgeous and adds such a nice touch to the overall experience. It's deff one of those places where you can just sit back, relax, and sip your wine! Safe to say, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
