They reference their European influences but haven't honored their people centric roots. It's two disconnected but richly manicured blocks like a mini-Scottsdale, and I don't mean that as a compliment. The sidewalks are narrow and won't accommodate people walking next to each other. It's designed so that you drive, park, eat, and leave. There's no ambling, meandering, or discovering. It's hard to ignore the sound of the highway.

Parking can be a little tight on a busy day due to the small lot, but there are some EV charging stations. They do make four whites, one Sauvignon Blanc, and three different Chardonnay's. We started with their whites before moving on to the Napa Merlot, and Malbec and then on to their Cabernets. If you really want to enjoy the Cabernet experience, for $175 you can sit in the Cambium room where you will get a food pairing along with the wine. I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!

The tasting was excellent and we enjoyed every wine that we tasted - the wines are definitely less bold and easier to drink that other those at other wineries we've visisted. We appreciated all of the history of educational fun facts that Mark shared with us, while also giving us plenty of time to chat and enjoy our wine. He was also kind enough to let us walk into the adjacent room with all of the wine barrels and teach us a bit more about the aging process. We walked away with 4 bottles, and will definitely be back!
