The Chef from Chicago (wish I could remember his name) really killed his sauce and there was a Thai one I like especially a lot too. Only down side is the pork belly flavor, smoke from what I gathered over powered the sauces flavors. So that was a bummer. Maybe each chef doing their own version of the pork belly and not just the sauce would show case their particular style and twist on it. I'd go again though. Keep it up guys!

The few other tables around us had the same experience. By the time the food got here my glass of wine was already done. They brought up my wife's salad but no utensils. That took another few mins. Why not bring it up at the same time? You're already 40 mins in to this? Then the chicken sandwich comes up. Looks great but the bottom bun is wet like it's been soaking in water. My wife walks it back and they give us a new one. But again, more time. We're 55 mins in at this point. I expect a restaurant in Yountville to be run a bit better than this. Management, you all need to step up on this one and fix this.

The lamb shank was absolutely delicious--an easy 5 out of 5. We also had the Wagyu beef carpaccio, which was excellent, the octopus, which was perfectly prepared, and the raviolo, which was rich and flavorful. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. If you're visiting Napa Valley, I highly recommend making a reservation at Bottega. It's located in a beautiful town, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, and the food is exceptional. We would absolutely love to come back on our next visit.

We were able to grab one of the last reservations of the evening, and after the short drive over, we were seated right at our 9:00 reservation time. From the moment we walked in, the hosts were warm and welcoming, and we knew we had made the right decision. One of the managers, Stephen, stopped by our table and welcomed us with complimentary glasses of Prosecco for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. We started with the Pasta Fritta con Prosciutto--crispy, rosemary-scented pasta dough wrapped in prosciutto with mascarpone espuma, honey, and Parmigiano Reggiano. It was the perfect balance of savory and sweet. We also shared the Caesar Nero, made with little gem lettuce, black garlic, and Parmigiano crostini, which was fresh and flavorful. For cocktails, we both ordered the Porch Punch. Made with Redwood Empire Pipe Dream 101, yellow peach, oolong tea, lemon, vanilla, and clarified using the milk punch process, it tasted like a refreshing peach tea. The etched ice cubes with wine glasses and utensils were a small detail that made the presentation even more memorable. For our entrées, Face ordered the Salmon Risotto, while I had the Carbonara. The carbonara is topped with an activated charcoal Parmesan tuile, and while it looks dramatic, it doesn't change the flavor at all--it simply adds a beautiful presentation. The pasta was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Bottega didn't just serve us an incredible meal--they rescued what could have been a very disappointing birthday dinner. The hospitality, service, and food were exceptional, and I'd happily make the drive back to Yountville again.

As we're members, this is also a sister winery which allows us to enjoy tasting. The property itself was beautiful. Right when you drive in, you're greeted with both sides of rows and rows of grapes vines. The the tasting room itself isn't that big. Decent size inside as well as outside. They do have a nice private room as well as the bar counter if you like that. But everyone was on the patio as it was a nice day. I think the group across from us must be members as well as I did noticed them earlier in the day at a different sister winery. Will was the man on deck taking care of us as well as everyone else. Funny how someone you just meet had so much in common with you. The sweetest and most kindest. And he knows his craft. Even though he was the only one there when we arrived, he made sure that we were all well taken care of. Of course the wines, everything that was poured was great. The nice chilled crisp of the whites to the rich bold of the reds. Everything was excellent. We did spend a nice amount of time here just enjoying the outside on the patio. The shaded seats under the trees with the vineyards around you. Also the nice trickle of the water feature right in front. The property is beautiful. Even though it was nice to just enjoy the place, we did have to cut it short as we had a tasting somewhere else. Overall, the place is beautiful. Service was great and of course the wine was great. Will was the best. Made sure that everyone out on the patio was taken cared of.

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

Right up front he asked what kind of information we would like to discuss with each wine, giving us the opportunity to prioritize our interests. And the wine! The WINE! It was hard to believe that the reds poured for us would still require aging as the vintages (2020 & 2021) felt so perfect as is. All they lacked was a plate of ribeye and buttered greens, perhaps a beouf bourguignon. I went home with three bottles, '24 estate Chardonnay (crisp, neutral oak, had to have a glass after tasting), '21 Oakville cab, and the '21 reserve cab (absolutely outstanding, I nursed this pour for a while) Highly recommend! Then treat yourself to lunch at the oakville general store. A heavenly way to start the day and end our trip in the area. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We were there on a recent Sunday for a 2:25 tasting and were seated in a table in the ornate tasting room. There was a carafe of water and bread sticks on the table. There were three tables and a large table of eight in the middle of the room. The room opens up to a beautiful garden. We were here for A Taste of Groth experience and were greeted by Curt who was our host for the tasting. Curt was personable and gave us a history of the Groth, which was founded by the former CFO of Atari, the video game company. For the tasting we were served a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Proprietary Red and a bonus pour of the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. All the wines were delicious with my favorites being the Reserve Cabernet for the red and Sauvignon Blace for the white. Curt was informative and explained the background of each wine that was poured. We were invited to take our last pour and enjoy in the garden and winery grounds. We had a great tasting experience in our tasting of the delicious Groth wines. It was enjoyable two hour visit. We now know what is Groth and its history from our great pourer, Curt.
