great food. I love the noodles, very authentic Chinese food. fabulous service. read more

This review would have probably been 5 stars if not for the incredibly long wait my friend and I had along with a mishap at the end. We arrived on a weekday for dinner around 6:30 PM and saw the place was packed so we decided to sit outside, only to be forgotten.. There was only one person serving everyone so we tried to be understanding of the wait but my friend and I had to repeatedly go back inside to remind them that we are waiting outside to order our food. Once we ordered, we waited another 40 min or so until we both went inside to grab a table where a party had just left because we felt like they had forgotten about us again. We finally got our food around 8 pm, an hour and a half after we had arrived. We could tell they were also very busy preparing take out and delivery orders and people were consistently lining up near the door. Food-wise, it was definitely one of the better hot pots I've had in the area and my friend agreed as well. We both ordered the spicy beef hot soup which came with plenty of food and a side of rice. My friend and I were looking for sauces which are usually available at hot pot places, but I don't think it was necessary anyways. At the end of our meal, my friend and I paid separately for our hot pots with separate cards but I realized they had only charged my friend's card twice when I was about to sign the receipt. Considering how busy and hectic it was, we didn't even bother asking them to correct the charges. Despite all of this, I think I would give this place another try so my review may be updated later. read more

Unprofessional service and excessively long wait times. I waited over 20 minutes past the time I was told to arrive and still had not received the order. When I asked how much longer it'd be, I was only told that it's not ready yet. If you're busy and need more time for an order, reflect that in the time you ask the customer to arrive. read more

1. Service is extremely slow (or does not exist). - we came in with only two other tables eating there, so it's not due to busy. We were told to sit ourselves but after waiting for 5-10 minutes, no one come to help us order. - we saw one of the waiter idling and standing in the counter so we thought maybe it's a place we need to go to the counter to order (yes it's our first time eating here, and we won't come back again). We walked to him and ask can we order, but we are told to sit back and someone will come to us. - ok we sat back and one waiter came, I said, can you tell me what's the name of that noodle in the other table? He said he doesn't know and he will go to check. Then he never came back. It's a small place, I can see that he went to do something else, like packing the takeout/delivery food. Hello? - then when we finally get to order, they got our order wrong, both item and price. We order a drink that is in the happy hour menu but in the end we are being charged at regular price, rather than happy hour price. I told the owner and she said she will correct it but she didn't. - so of course, no body come to check on us at all, so we have to go to the counter again to ask for check. Even just printing out the check is so slow. We are so frustrated that we just sign the wrong check and leave rather than telling them to correct the price (from regular price to happy hour price). 2. The flavor of its food is mediocre, did not make up its bad service. In our case, this place charged us more than we have to pay and gave us this shitty service. read more

The good is good but the wait is unbelievably long and the service is terrible. The last time we were there, my husband's soup came out after 30 minutes and my chicken never came. The excuse is always that they're busy but they should have figured out kitchen efficiency after being open as long as they have. Also, it is almost impossible to communicate with the waitstaff do can't ask any questions about the menu. read more

This place is honestly so overhyped. The service was so slow and we had to call the waitress several times to get attention. I think it's just because they're understaffed. I got the spicy beef pot, pretty flavorful. If you're looking for a lot of flavor, I would not recommend getting the lamb pot..my friend got this and it barely had any flavor. The liang pi was bomb though! read more

Tried yesterday, "hot" pot wasn't hot with the tiny fire and I had to watch the frozen lamb swimming in the soup staying raw for an hour... bad service as well. read more

Came here for the Grand Opening and had a phenomenal experience. The Spicy Beef Broth had great flavor and the portion sizes were huge. They also serve noodle dishes there. I really enjoyed the Jajang Noodles. read more

Great find on a cold rainy day! Will definitely return. My favorite was the pot stickers and the spice beef soup.

Overpriced with meh service. The guy serving us didn't know a lick of Korean and was very difficult to communicate with. The food itself wasn't bad (except for undercooked potsticker meat) it was just overpriced. We paid $80 for a dinner for three that should've cost $40 for the quality. Wouldn't recommend but it's not the worst. read more

Well I first show up at 5 and I asked for a recommendation in both Chinese and English. He recommended the noodle instead of the hotpot. I ask if there is any side dishes or appetizer available? As it is common in most noodle restaurants. He told me there is only one dish a spicy beef cold dish.夫妻肺片。Which is not my favorite but I got it anyway since it was the only thing available. Later on, more customer shows up and there was two menus. Where dumpling and other small dishes was available on the other menu. So please ask for the other menu if you go there. I would like to try the hot pot next time. I was not really a fan of the noodle because I was expecting hand cut noodle like on the picture. The thin noodle I got was too uniform and lack the chewiness to be hand pull or cut. It seem more like firm udon noodle. I was told those curly frilly noodle are the cut noodle. Which was not what I was told. Maybe it's miscommunication but I was fairly certain I made that inquiry. Nick was nice enough to take out the spicy pork cold dish. Remember to check in for free soy milk. read more

Excellent Chinese food and very authentic. This is the only restaurant I've been to in the DC metro area that reminds me of China. Very spicy and flavorful. Other reviewers pointed out that it's a bit disorganized and the service is slow. All true. But that just makes it all the more like eating in a restaurant in mainland China. Most of the clientele were speaking Mandarin, which I took to be a good sign. read more

The Szechuan shuizhu beef and twice cooked pork are pretty authentic. Would recommend spicy food here.

Love the food, but the service REALLY needs to improve. We ordered takeout twice and both times had to wait 30 extra minutes once we arrived for the pick up. read more

I like the food but the wait every time i am here is just ridiculous. I walk in at 5:10pm after their break and there's only two other guests. I wait for the next 30 min for my one (1) order of hot pot. They said this was due to the heavy to go orders but the guest who arrived after me got their food before I did. So well that went out the door. I really don't like how they handle the volume. read more

This was an awesome restaurant. The lamb hotpot was savory. Medium hot is fairly spicy. Portions are generous. The Dan dan noodles even without spice were flavorful. We will be back read more

Quite possibly the best, most authentic Schezuan food in the NoVA area. This place is inside an office building, but their spicy beef noodle soup and twice cooked pork is on point. It's a bit on the pricey side, but for the quality of the food it is definitely worth it. Their hot pot is so-so, but their beef noodle soup is amazing. read more

Too darn good and in mclean...get the dumplings first Tried beef noodle soup and hot pot beef...excellent Don't expect much in decor but food is amazing and inexpensive Updated review- Still delicious. Dumplings ARE made from scratch, not frozen. Lots of new daily specials. read more

The beef noodle soups are on point! Flavorful and generous portions. Dumplings at first felt over priced $11.99 for 12, but then you take a bite and you understand. Service was excellent as well, so five stars well deserved! Hot pot broth was good but as always, hot pot at home is always going to be the winner. read more

An untapped market for this delicious Asian fusion genre of food - best in the area, by far!

Menu pricing confusing. Asked waiter to clarify before ordering. The bill was more than anticipated. Waiter apologized but manager refused to talk. read more

Looked the menu online and ordered take-out. The ingredients of each item are not listed in the online menu. I ordered the veggie version of the thai hot soup (veggie broth) and got a soup full of pork and other dead animals. Terrible, why would they have a veggie version and add animal cadavers on top of it? read more

Fun style of eating from your own personal hot pot. (The waiter will put out the flame if you don't like it lit the whole time.) Several choices, & the waiter explained how it worked to our group of 8. Great service & great food, even for vegetarians. Street parking & small dining room, but worth it! read more

Great new addition to the NOVA dining scene. Although the restaurant is small and has a limited menu it more than makes up for that in the quality of the ingredients and their broth. They make a REAL BONE BROTH!!! You may have seen bone broths elsewhere, but most places aren't cooking theirs for 24 hours like Fahrenheit does. It's details like that which set this restaurant above the competition. I could immediately taste the quality of the ingredients and you can tell that there is a lot of love and care going into the food. There is only one dessert on the menu, but I definitely recommend ordering it. The mousse cake is unlike any you've ever had before. Mine had a beautiful summer beach scene design on the top, but there is a new winter scene version coming soon. It was very light and fresh tasting without being very sweet like so many other desserts. If you're looking for an unpretentious restaurant serving great food at reasonable prices using only the best ingredients then I highly recommend Fahrenheit. Given all the wonderful health benefits of consuming real bone broth, I can see myself making Fahrenheit a regular location for me in the future. read more

Inedible. I ordered spicy beef soup with bone broth. This was 90% cabbage, the tiny pieces of beef were cheap and fatty, and it seems like there's a whole can of corn dumped in as well. The bone broth just tasted like fat and chili pepper. read more

Fahrenheit Asian - Asian Fusion Near Me - McLean, Virginia

It's more like Little Dipper hotpot, but here is much tastier. But Hot Spot is still my prefer hot pot destination. Its really small inside. I ordered the Spicy Thai, like many yelper, it doesn't taste anything Thai more like reg. Chinese hotpot. It's very flavorful thou. Overall is still a good experience. read more

The service and quality is good, but the restaurant will need to make changes if they want to out compete other hot pot restaurants in northern Virginia. The portion size is good for lunch and you are limited on sauce. This is a great place to eat and go and not really a socializing spot. The burner goes out in about 20 minutes so if you want to add more meat they will need to bring another burner. The dessert is a work of art; definitely fun to take pictures of. It did not taste like anything, it seemed like it was mostly cool whip. I would highly recommend the lamb broth and adding an extra side. read more

Wait staff super friendly, Beer was cold and served in frosty glass (even the second beer). Pork dumplings were out of this world and the dumpling sauce was best I have ever tasted. We had the #1 Beef hot soup and the #3 spicy Beef hot soup, The beef in both were very tender, we ordered both medium hotness and asked for hot sauce on the side because most places are never as hot as they say. This was perfect for us, just hot enough. The dipping sauces were amazing as well. We will definitely be back soon. read more

Don't try ever. The stove fire is put out during my meal and the waiter is too busy to come help. Additionally, the broth is average and it did not contain enough food for me to get full read more

Very traditional Chinese beef homemade noodle in Mclean ! Can choose spicy as your want. It also have some Chinese breakfast

Echoing what the other recent reviews have said...food is great, but it's clear this place wasn't ready for the Washington Post bump. We came on a Saturday night, encountered general chaos while trying to get someone's attention to get seated, and ultimately waited around for two hours while only two of our four dishes came out. In the end we gave up and asked for the check, which was in itself very difficult to get. It's a shame because the two dishes we had were very good. We may be back in a few months after they've had a chance to catch up. read more

Visited this week for first time. Food was beautifully presented and expertly prepared. Fresh and tasty. We had MaPo Tofu, Bok Choy, Cucumber Salad and Onion Pancake. Recommend following advice of staff for your choice of spice level. Even "mild"...wasn't. Only small criticism was a bit too much oil on the pancake. Everything else was perfect. Want to revisit asap! read more

We visited here with a group of 6 and it sure delivered! We each got our own hot-pots, I personally liked mine the best (the seafood pot (comes with shrimp, clams, tofu, imitation crab meat, and a nice light broth), but everyone else also enjoyed theirs (lamb pots (come with clams too!) for a fun-to-say lamb and clam pot haha!) and beef pots. BUT what's really worth writing home about is their dessert -- honestly we were very dubious at first about this local Chongqing (huge city in Southwest China) dessert. Stay with me -- it's a clear jello/jelly with watermelon, san jia pian (haw flakes), raisins all in a sugary juice/broth. Ugh -- even as I write it, it sounds bad, but honestly it is so good! You have to step outside of what your mind is telling you and try this refreshing, crisp, sweet and super delicious dessert that is PERFECT after eating a huge bowl of hot pot! The seating in the restaurant is not much, so it's not great for any groups over 6 I would say. read more

I've been here twice and can't get enough. The food is fantastic and, although the restaurant was full, the service was excellent. Fahrenheit doesn't even advertise. It does a booming business relying on word of mouth alone. It's a hidden gem in McLean - a community in desperate need of good food. read more

Awesome hotpot experience which can satisfy your tone and stomach. The waiter and waitress are very kind. We always come here for dinner.

The portion is so small. Not worth it. The picture looks great but you will be disappointed when you see it.

My husband and I went there and ordered two lamb pots this afternoon. We found some random fried potato wedges in our pot. It's not listed in the ingredient list and we only found a random large one in his pot and some small broken pieces in mine... we thought, meh, it's a Chinese kitchen that uses a lot of materials, maybe it's some other ingredients got mixed in by accident. We even took some bites of that potato fry, until he was like, kinda weird to find it here, let's not eat it anymore. He picked it out but I was like, well, it was boiled with the whole pot so whatever that was, the pot is already contaminated. On our way back, I was thinking: huh, which Chinese dish has large fries potato wedges in it? I can't think of any... then I searched their whole menu, I couldn't find it listed on any of dishes....wow, the thought of me eating other ppl's spit (the pieces in my pot were all broken)... read more

Excellent noodle/ramen place. Order medium spicy if you don't have a big tolerance for spicy stuff.

Seating space is pretty limited here, not sure if it's kids-friendly since place is tight and hot pot is being served. I don't think I'll return again. Reason #1:We ordered the dandan noodle, jajangmyuen, ants on the tree, and dumplings, and they were all overly salty and drenched in some garlic-scallion-oil. We ordered four different dishes but they all tasted the same, and the total came out to be $70! Definitely not worth the money. Reason #2: the restaurant has an extremely poor ventilation, and we walked out with our clothes/hair smelling like grease, definitely not pleasant. Imagine going back to work with that smell lingering! read more

Very good restaurant. We ordered the lamp hot pot and three different noodles. It tastes delicious!
